STSW-LINK009 Software ZIP file

Hello, ST community,

I am having trouble installing a Batch file from the STSW-LINK009 Software ZIP file.

I am on a Macbook Pro M2, running Parallels Windows 11.

When I try to download the "stlink_winusb_install" batch file I get a pop-up saying that I need to use the 64-bit version of the "DPlnst.exe" on my machine.

An installation Wizard should start running but I get that pop-up instead. I will provide a screenshot of what I see. 64-Bit Verison POP-UP.png

I don't understand what that means and don't know what my next step should be. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

Go into the dpinst_amd64 (64-bit) directory rather than the dpinst_x86 (32-bit) one

    I don't know..

You can unpack the ZIP, and from Windows's Device Manager you can associate the directory with the driver's content (.INF, .CAT, .SYS) with a device that's not current recognized within Windows. Go to the "Unknown" device, and "Update Driver"

I followed your advice on opening the dpinst_amd64 (64-bit) directory, the wizard runs.

But now the problem I have is that there are 3 drivers that wont install. I even disabled secure boot to see if they would install but they still don't.

I am wondering if it is a compatibility problem as I am on a Macbook pro M2, running parallels Windows 11.
