Question

Why doesn't CubeMX.AI support the F1 series?

Is the Cortex-M3 core particularly unique? Why do many tools, like CubeMX.AI, specifically not support the STM32F1 series with M3 core?

    Probably because it's very old?

Newer chip solve the peripheral/pin escape better. And it saves a lot of testing and QA time to use parts with a more consistent design philosophy?

Why do you want to use such antiquated ICs?

However, the older F0 series, which is even older than the F1 series, supports it. I originally thought that there was something special about the Cortex M3 core.

NO, The F0 is not older. The F1 is from 2007, the F0 2012

The F2 (2010) was a bit of an evolutionary dead-end as the CM4F was out.
