Than try to use this board with Debian Linux + Xorg happened strange behaviour: after one hour screen disabled forever. No any warnings or errors in dmesg. An error appears when executing the crypto_skipher_decrypt(tfm)->decrypt(req) code inside the linux-custom directory of the buildroot. Some violation seems to occur when calling the decrypt(req) function. If I annotate that part, the error doesn't come up.I want to know the reason for the error and the solution.

Hi,I would like to make my STM32MP157 communicate with a FPGA in spi. I need to make long transfer (2-3 Mb) spi to get data acquired by the FPGA. Hi All!! I am currently using openstlinux-5.10-dunfell-mp1-21-11-17 for EV1. My idea is upgrade kernel version to 5.15 and keep u-boot-2020.10 and tf-a-2.4. My problem is that only upgrading the kernel and dtb, the kernel crashes and doesn't show any log traces (added boot.log).   Is there any dependency (or API break) between kernel and bootloaders(U-boot/Tf-a)? I would like to know if it have fix

I have a small project under GPL v2 license which will not necessarily be used on STM device (maybe, but most likely not).   There is a "Design Tip (DT0085)" which have some reference source code and I want to use it in my project (esp. page 7). I can't figure out which license is used in this document for the source code.   Can I use the source code or it parts from DT0085 in my project?

In my device tree, we config 400KHz, but on scope we see only ~ 50Hz, and the clock seems weird. Hello!I'm new at ST!​I'm looking to rebuild a project I built on a SBC (rpi4), but now in a board for commercial use and mass production, as for now I bought nucleo64 - F401 for testing.​The project consist on connecting a webcam, displaying photos on a OLED display, and saving photos on a usb-drive.​Is this possible with Nucleo board? Or, is there any other board/way you guys recommend?I heard that the best way is definitely a Linux SoC. If so, any suggestion?Thanks, I'm open for literally any kind of advice.

Is stated on STM32MP157 datasheet's boot mode table that the MPU can be booted through UART: – USART2/3/6 and UART4/5/7/8 on default pins Nevertheless, I wasn't able to find which are the default pins for the UART interfaces, on the datasheet or reference manual. Where can I find those? STM32MP15-DISCO schematics uses UART4 pins PG11 and PB2 routed back to the Serial/USB bridge, are those UART4 by default?   GPIOx_AFRH/L reset value is 0 for all ports, and no UART pin is selected on AF0.

I am trying to achieve hard real-time under 100us on the STM32MP157f-eval, specifically, on the Cortex A7 dual core.Note: I specifically target the Cortex A7 cores because the M4 is already taken for other tasks which requires much smaller latency.What I did so far is:Build the Yocto openst-linuxAdd Preempt-RT patchAdded several software: irqbalance, tuna, hiccups... to monitor and tune the system.Isolate one coreTested high-priority process, also IRQ. Hello,I am currently working with st-image-core in Yocto and attempting to remove some packages that are not necessary for our needs. While I have successfully removed a few packages, some functionality on our board has stopped working because I may have removed too much.Most of the packages I removed were from packagegroup-base-extended, which I removed completely. After checking which packages from that packagegroup were necessary to add back, I encountered an error. However, when I add packagegroup-base-extended back, the error disappears. This is confusing because I am adding fewer packages than those included in packagegroup-base-extended:ERROR: st-image-core-1.0-r0 do_image_tar: The rootfs size 1247592(K) exceeds IMAGE_ROOTFS_MAXSIZE: 753664(K)I have tried overriding IMAGE_ROOTFS_MAXSIZE in our bbapend file, but it doesn’t seem to have any effect. I've got the STM32MP135F-DK Discovery kit yesterday; and am going stuck on setting up and using the contributed microSD. Demonstartions are not starting.My Steps so far:- STLink software is installed (WIndows10 pro). - the supplied microSD ist installed in Discovery Kit- Power is supplied to USB-C- Boot switches are set as described in Table 5 of the UM, Boot from SD card on SDMMC1.  (pg.13, Table 5, Boot0: 1 / Boot1: 0 / Boot2: 1 )What going on on Display: - Screen1: "ST live.augmented"; dark, then ..- Screen2: left side "ST32 MP1" & Linux symbol ..- then display is going dark, no more responses. Hi,I have a problem with the DMA seemingly being shut down due to ADC overrun.What I want to achieve: Three ADC channels should be read indefinitely and the values should be written to memory by DMA as soon as they are ready.What's currently happening:ADC and DMA work in the beginning, so my buffer fills up with values, but shortly after the start, the values in the buffer are not updated anymore and the DMA2_Stream0_IRQHandler is not called anymore either. I suspect the problem is an overrun, as the OVR bit is set in the ADC_ISR register (value is 0x101F) and ErrorCode is set to 2.The ADC_DR registers value still changes, so the ADC itself seems to be operational, and only the DMA stopped working.When the DMA does not work anymore, the DMA_CR register value alternates between 0x440 and 0x457. I am an embedded Android developer working on eval board STM32MP157f-EV1 ,we started to design a custom hardware based on it .So I downloaded the st-android-11.0.0-2021-01-29 android soft , and flashed the board as mentionned on the wiki hwo to android , the switches are configured to boot from emmc , the startup of android system is ok but without screen , the dispaly is white , the tactil working fine i can see by the logcat all the services are fine even the ST laucher com.stmicroelectronics.stlauncher.Any help please ? , i tried to build locally a soft , flashed to sdcard but i faced the same problem on the dispaly .I attached the full log here

Here is what I am seeing.I use busybox reboot -f from the command line so that the reboot request goes directly to the kernel, i.e. no init/systemd involved. Hi All.I have a stm32mp157C-DK2, I have used the lastest demo from ST(openstlinux-5.15-yocto-kirkstone-mp1-v22.06.15).I have done audio tests and I have found a problem/bug when I play a wav file and next I record a audio.
