STM8 MCUs

I have Nucleo-L152RE board and I used this board to program the STM32 MCU using JTAG (CN4) connector. Now, I want to program the STM8 board using SWIM interface. So, is it possible with Nucleo-L152RE?. I already done the required changes to use Nucleo-L152RE as STLINK/V2.

I am working on my first STM8 project and getting used to its own flavour of quirks etc.Setting up a new project installs stm8s_interrupt_vector.c which I understand. I want to use the standard peripheral drivers so have downloaded them and added the .c and .h files to my project code files.I now cannot find stm8s_it.h or .c from the latest software download. Is there any reason they have disappeared? I assume i need them because all the stm8s cosmic tutorials always include them.Lastly I have found iostm8.h which appears to define the cpu registers if I want to access them without using the main peripheral drivers. Is that correct? and if so am I correct in assuming I do not need this file it I am using the peripheral drivers.A quick clarification on these files would be agreat help please guys.Cheers, Bruce

I installed the STVP and need to change the LSIEN bit when writing the STM8S003F3, but the Option Byte, Program Memory and Data Memory tabs do not appear in the STVP.On other computers everything is ok, but here in the notebook that I use, the tabs do not appear and I did not find the place where I could enable them.Would anyone know how to solve this problem?

Even though I did set optimization to "Disable for Debugging (-no)" there are certen lines of code which are removed by the compiler and are not available for setting a breakpoint and they do not get executed. This can be observed by certin results as well as by the disassembly missing mentioned lines. Is there a way to really disable optimization (including code removal) or at least a list of things that do get optimized even though -no ist used?

I'v downloaded stvd tools from st official web and installed stvp & stvd simutaneously. After that, stvp can be opened, but not stvd. It shows the message as below when click the stvp icon to try to open it. I am trying to set the PORT E pins 1 and 2 (PE1 and PE2) as Output .When i am writing High on it, I am only getting 500mv and Low as 0v.There is no external push-pull circuitry involved.Let me know your comments.
