We have received LIS2DS12TR, but we cannot identify the Marking of the Part.On the part there is a QR-Code and a "G". Could you please confirm that this is LIS2DS12TR and what the QR Code is standing for. Thank you in advance

Hi all,I have a question regarding the LSM6DSL's gyroscope high-pass filter configuration.For LSM6DS3, there is an option to reset the high-pass with HP_G_RST = 1. This way, the DC component of the angular velocity is immediately removed, c.f. https://community.st.com/ysqtg83639/attachments/ysqtg83639/mems-sensors-forum/21052/2/AN4650.PDF, figure 5, page 26.How can I achieve the same with the LSM6DSL? According to the datasheet and application notes (https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/an5040-lsm6dsl-alwayson-3d-accelerometer-and-3d-gyroscope-stmicroelectronics.pdf) there is no such option here. I just tried setting the same bit of CTRL7_G to 1 but without the desired effect. Unfortunately, I can't wait for the filter to fully settle down for several seconds to minutes at its lowest cutoff frequency. Are there any workarounds?Kind regardsFelix

Hello ST Community!Please help with resolving issue with WHO_AM_I register!Firmware that I'm using on MKI109V3 board is V3.65.5. 

since LPS22HH support one byte read or multiple byte read. wonder how LPS22HH handles the last bit on I3C because last bit in Read data is 'T', rather than ACK/NACK from I3C Controller. How does LPS22HH (target) know Controller need single or mulitple byte read. 

I need to measure a distance within a 1 degree field of view (FOV) in front of the sensor at a distance well within the range of the sensor. I know I can't use focusing optics on the emitter side without changing the laser class - so I won't. Using a simple aperture to narrow the FOV at the detector side, I would reduce the amount of light returned by roughly a factor of 18. A lens would be more effective, but ST does not provide information about the integrated lens and the effective focal point.  Also, I cannot find the calculator AN5894 refers to "Cover glass integration guides and aperture calculator tools are also available on st.com." 

Hi,i saw that the VL6180X is set to NRND.I need the functions of gesture detection and ambiation light measurement.I want to use it in a new product which should be produced more than 10 years but in this case i dont think that this is the right one.Does ST recommends a replacement type? Thanks for helping.Jo

Hello, I am currently running the MEMSMIC1 audio streaming example via usb with 4 channels and it works fine, but Because i am using the nucleo-wb55 board that has a pdm interface supporting up to 3 microphone pairs I want to use as many microphones as possible.Which specific files in the memsmic1 project do i need to adjust to support the streaming of 6 microphones?

Hi,I would like to ask about the difference between the two modes of offset (PerformOffsetSimpleCalibration and PerformOffsetPerVCSELCalibration).Because when the crosstalk calibration value is high(calibrationData.customer.algo_crosstalk_compensation_plane_offset_kcps>8000),I use the " PerVCSELCalibration" mode, the offset calibration value will be very large, causing my distance data to wait a lot.But when the crosstalk calibration is high and I use "SimpleCalibration" mode, the offset calibration value is not very large and the distance data is normal.So I would like to know more about it:1, the difference in how the two offset modes work.2, does the crosstalk calibration value have any effect on the offset calibration?Thanks

hello,     i'm working on ASM330LHH IMU sensor, here raw value is continuously fluctuating even sensor is in untouch condition(fluctuation is between -1 to 6). is it possible to make it zero? so how can i stop this fluctuation. plz share suggetions or method.

Hi,I have attempted to follow the AN5201 application note page 26 to configure the IIS2DLPC accelerometer to generate an interrupt at every threshold however this interrupt is never generated. I have tried to print the value of SIXD_SRC register and that is always reporting 0 so I assume that's the reason for not generating an interrupt? Hello,I am working with the IIS3DWB for a vibration monitoring sensor, and have a few questions about the ODR (Output Data Rate) accuracy, hoping someone can help me.1. I know that on the datasheet the ODR accuracy is stated as +-1% typ, or +-2% Max.I want to know, does this accuracy specification include using the INTERNAL_FREQ_FINE register to correct the ODR (See page 45)? If we use the contents of that register is the tolerance considered more accurate?2. I am also curious if anyone knows the INTERNAL_FREQ_FINE register is set once in manufacture, or if the contents change over time. Should I read this register once or read it regularly to update my data rate correction.2.a. I know there is also a characteristic to describe the ODR change with respect to temperature. Is this characteristic captured in the adjustment provided by the INTERNAL_FREQ_FINE register? Hello guys,Im trying to learn about LoRa and else. Now, I am using an SubGHZ_Phy in stm32wl sdk. The problem is, when I am using vl6180x codes in while loop without sequencer, it does work! But, When I am trying to implement it with a 5 min util timer and a sequencer; VL6180x sensor does not work properly! It needs to measure a singleshot distance, in first start my readRange command returns 0. After first attempt, second and other attempt; it gives a value but I know it isn't true. I have already read about sequencer, I thought that my mcu turns off every peripheral and thats causes a problem like this. How can I solve it?

Hi,I have a Sensortile .Box Pro board and I plugged a H3LIS331DL high range accelerometer on its top socket.Is there any available code to log data from H3LIS331DL? I thought all MEMS evaulation boards from ST (STEVAL-MKI153V1 in this case) were supported.Regards

I want a code to reset the sensor, and put it before all my routines so I can get the MCU and the sensor to re-synchronize.That are the steps of the technique to reset 1.to find gpio pin has the ability to lift and low And Connect that pin to the Xshut input. 2.A bootup lower the GPIO, wait a few ms, then lift it. Wait a few ms for the sensor to boot, and carry on. Should fix you right up.I find a code my colleague suggests that to me he uses it to for BME sensor but I want to use it for Vl6810X sensor This code is also prepared for hardware error (handled elswhere, by a simple if. ).He told me : So if really not able to start it and variable Emergency_stop_all goes over 3 all functionality will be stopped for safety. Hi,I am trying to calculate the MTBF (mean time between failures) value for the ASM330LHHTR module. Please suggest any techniques for the same. I have followed the instructions in DT0147 "Advanced design tips for the machine learning core and finite state machine using Unico-GUI", and have attempted to merge the FSM and MLC files into one .ucf for use in our product. Unfortunately, when I uploaded the new .ucf file, I noticed that neither the FSM, nor the MLC portions were working.Looking into the merged .ucf file, I noticed that the very beginning does not start like the rest of the .ucf files I have created in the past, namely the turning off of the accelerometer and gyroscope and entering the embedded function mode.
