Hi,i'm developing an application that streams audio from sensor tile to pc (for testing purpose i'm using ST Ble Sensor app from Play Store).I'm getting audio problem when using official all-mems applications.In order to recap:All-mems-2 v2.1.0: noisy audioAll-mems-1 v4.2.0: noisy audioAll-mems-1 v2.1.0: perfect audioIs not an HW problem since on different sensor tile i have the same behaviour.My suspect is that something in microphone setting/driver implementation is changed.(since the version BlueVoiceADPCM is the same (v2.0.0)).Can you help me?Someone is facing the same problem?Thanks,Alessandro

Our Implementation : We use the LSM6DSR sensor in FIFO Stream Mode (With Acc & Timestamp Enabled)ACC ODR is set to 52HzACC Batching is set to 52HzTimestamp decimation is set to 32This timestamp counter is translated to real time by using the resolution factor derived from the FREQ_FINE register calculations as mentioned in the application note AN5358.The calculation of TS Resolution is : tsResolution = (float) 1000000 / (40000 * (float) (1.0f+ 0.0015f * FREQ_FINE));The above tsResolution factor is what we multiply to the Timestamp sensor values from the sensor FIFO buffer : ((double) acc_slot[i].timestamp / 1000000 * tsResolution)Observation:The calculated real world seconds elapsed is close to the calculated time for the first few minutes and then there is a slow drift observed where the calculated time starts to lag. On a long run test we observed that the error of the calculated time

I wanna do a live audio processing project and I got an X-NUCLEO-CCA02M2 expansion board with the integrated mics as it says it's compatible with all STM32 boards. However, the pins seem misaligned, i.e. i can't just plug it nicely on top as shown in the manuals or tutorials. Am I missing something? Is there some nonstandard way of connecting those two particular modules together?

Hello,I set up on STM32CubeX my F401RE to realize the motion FX algorithm (find rotation euler angles, quaternion) with my ISM330DHCX dil 24 socket (Steval mkv207v1) sensor (AccGyr).But can't get any data on Unicleo. May be that some configurations are bad. If you have some experience in this type of project mith this sensor I am a taker.I share my project with you.Have a good day.

We trying to implement the SPI -3 wire communication with the HAL-APIs i.e, HAL_SPI transmit, HAL_SPI_receive, while trying to read data from LSM303 we are receiving the device ID as 0xFFwe are using the LSM303 Accelerometer + Compass Breakout board from the Adafruit.I2C communication working properly but we are not able to establish communication with the 3-wire SPI,Is it possible to implement 3-wire SPI communication using the HAL functions (Transmit & receive) or we have to work with low-level libraries to implement SPI-3 wire

Hi, I'm building a system where a STM32 MCU needs to be connected to 5 sensors in SPI.The sensors are 5 chip MAX31856 or similar.My doubt is, can I connect 5 sensors to a single SPI line of the MCU? Are there any limits on how many sensors can be connected on a single SPI line? I need some type of buffer? Is better use multiple SPI line of the MCU?Thanks in advance.

Hi, I connect X-NUCLEO-CCA02M1 to my NUCLEO-F401RE. I am using SPI1 for the communication between devices. For what I have understood the function below convert N bit (for me N = 8) in a integer. Hi,I'm working on a design with a STPM33. The application only needs to measure current on a single phase but, as STPM33 seems cheaper than STPM32, this was the chosen IC.  Could I remove C27 and C28 if the second channel is not used? If yes, could I let the VREF2 floating or should I do something with it?Thanks for your help.

What is the tolerance/accuracy on the sample rate for the LPS28DFW. I do not see this information in the datasheet.

Hello,In our application we've found quite big differences in ODR between different samples of the ISM330DHCX and also for different modes:For example if setting the ODR to 416 Hz we measure > 440 Hz. Furthermore when only ACC is active the ODR is 440 Hz, when GYR and ACC are active the ODR drops to 425 Hz. Is there any way to connect an external clock source or to somehow synchronize the ODR to an external clock? What are the specifications for ODR deviations for ISM330DHCX and LSM6DSOX for example? Is there any way to make ODR more stable?Thank you!

I have a SensorTile.box eval board connected to a ST-Link/V2-lsol using the 20->14 pin adapter. The ST-Link/V2 is connected to my linux workstation via USB and the ST-Link is seen by the STM32CubeProgrammer application. The SensorTile.box is also connected via its micro-USB port to provide power. The SensorTile is up and running and I can connect from my mobile phone with the ST BLE Sensor app to read the sensor data and I see the blue LED flashing to indicate a valid bluetooth connection. However when I try to connect to the eval board from the STM32CubeProgrammer I get a popup with the message: "Error: No STM32 target found!". Any ideas or suggestions on what the problem is and how to fix will be greatly appreciated.

I am working with the IIS2DH sensor. I can read all 3 axis data, but when I try to read the temperature I only got zeros. I read the similar forum threads, and I did not find a solution for my problem. I set the TEMP_CFG_REG(1F) to 0xC0, also set CTRL_REG4 (23) BDU bit to 1 and the OUT_TEMP_L (0C) register MSB bit to 1 (0x8C). I know the sensor is sending a relative temperature value based on the reference value, but when I tried to warm up the sensor the values did not change. I also checked the value of the STATUS_REG_AUX(07) (0xFF)and based on the datasheet the temperature data is available and overwritten by the new data. I run out of the ideas, what can be the problem?Best regards,Bence

I want to understand how I could convert the sensor data on the box into real-time position tracking. The tracking is periodic linear movement in the y-direction going from a range max of 15/16 feet and back to 0. Are there any good resources or git-hub repos I can tap into?

Hello,I am currently working on the LSM6DSOX iNemo Inertial Module to collect acceleration data and steps.To properly configure the Pedometer inside it, I decided to make some measurements with the module and, at the same time, manually count the number of performed steps. Then, by exploiting the UNICO GUI Regression Tool, I used the collected data to extract a .ucf file, and I wanted to test it with the Debug/Datainjection Tool inside UNICO GUI.Since the Regression Tool required data with a 26 Hz sampling frequency, can I use the Debug Tool with a different sampling frequency (e.g., 208 Hz)? In that case, do I need to add the lines of code in the .ucf file that switch on the accelerometer at that sampling frequency?Are there any other lines of code that must be added to the .ucf file to make everything work in the Debug Tool? Hello,I am working on the SimpleRanging example associated with X-NUCLEO-53L1A1 TOF sensor, so I lanched it using the IAR IDE as noted, but I can't read data in the Tera Term ( nothing is shown on the terminla) although I checked the IAR livewatch and the various raging data are shown there correctly. So I am assuming there is an issue with the printf function. any help ? thank you.

Hi,We are developing with the LSM6DSO32 in an application that experiences large shocks and during the shock we have found that the FIFO will contain a new timestamp and ODRCHG tag that is unexpected. A single timestamp and ODRCHG tag is consistent with initial setup of the sensor, but we are not doing any of this at the moment of impact. This has led us to believe that it is likely that there is some sort of reset happening at the time of impact. The unexpected FIFO tags happen both with and without the software compression feature enabled.The above speculation, along with the fact that the other registers on the LSM6DSO32 are not reset, the readings of the accel and gyro look more or less correct, and it is aligned with impact led us to think it could be partially resetting the oscillation of the gyro which is likely used as the clock source. To test this, we disabled the gyroscope, and the timestamps are not reset at impact in this case. This is the on

I'm trying to understand the way the interrupt thresholds are supposed to be set for this sensors, as we're working on a driver in Rust and wanted to add the interrupts as a feature. Let me explain what I mean:Accelerometer: each axis uses one full byte, meanwhile the accelerometer data is two bytes/axis. Does it mean that the threshold setting has a lower resolution, i.e. can only have 256 possible values (signed, -128 to 127) while the data read from the sensor is more fine-grained?Gyroscope: "the value is expressed as a 15-bit word in two’s complement" for each axis, but it's a 16-bit word for the output registers. Does it mean that in this case the threshold has a 15-bit resolution (signed, -32768 to 32767) while the output has 16 bits?Magnetometer: "the value is expressed in 15-bit unsigned. Hi,I am working on the lis2dh12 interface to MCU and getting the data. The below observations I found in our device.1. Getting x,y,z data2. The current consumption is taking 120ua.3. When I call the power down (Write LIS_CTRL_REG1, 0x00) it is carrying 10ua.4. I am using an interrupt pin for fall alert purposes. When I use to declare an interrupt line and check the threshold impact current is too high. If I use power down (Write LIS_CTRL_REG1, 0x00)  after reading and the next poll wakes up (Write LIS_CTRL_REG1, 0x47) then I lost my interrupt means didn't get interrupted yet at all. Without a power-down command (i.e Write LIS_CTRL_REG1, 0x47), a fall interrupt is coming.How to handle and minimize my current.
