Hi Everyone, I hope you'll are doing well.I have STM32L562QEI6Q Board and IDQ6MC1 (Quantum Random Number Generator) IC. The IC supports 2 Modes (I2C, SPI) and I am using SPI interface.The IC gets Initialized and Starts OK and also I am able to read CHIP ID too, but when try to get Random Number, then it gives 0000... In order to get Random Data, FIFO should be ready (Must with return val of 0x01 on writing 0x41).I am giving you a Linux Written Driver of SPI, My STM32 Files (Header, Source and Main in .zip Folder) and Datasheet.Can anybody help me in this regard as there is very minimum integration support and I am stuck in getting random data from it.Looking forward to help from anybody...

Trying to store some ssl certificates and device configurations in STM32h753zi internal flash using littlefs file system https://github.com/littlefs-project/littlefs. but i could not able find any example in there. i anyone had experience in stm32h7(2MB, 2bank) flash read/write operations with wear leveling. any examples or further guidance could be helpfull. im fine with any effective solutions (not bounded to littlefs).

Hi,I am working on a project that needs Bluetooth support. Our main MCU: STM32F411CE.Bluetooth module: BlueNRG-2 (Brought a BLUENRG-M2SP module and then fabricated a simple custom breakout board)Initially, I tried to use the official example project from STM32CubeIDE (Beacon, Central, and SensorDemoBLE). But it is not working. I could not discover any signal through a BLE scanner. But I tried to read BLUENRG-M2SP directly using ST-Link and the RF Flasher utility. It worked.I checked the SPI lines of the MCU using a logic analyzer, but I could not read any signal. Why does the MCU not send any data to the Bluetooth chip?How do I set it as workable? Is there any simple example to power up this module?

I’m currently developing a custom board based on an STM32U585.On the board, I have three SPI devices connected to the MCU, each managed by its own chip-select line:* MAX9939 → requires LSB first and can be controlled in transmit-only SPI mode.* LSM6DSL (IMU) → requires MSB first and full-duplex mode.* CAT25256 (EEPROM) → also requires MSB first and full-duplex mode.To handle these differences, I switch the SPI configuration dynamically at runtime. Hello, I could use your help. I wanted to start a small project where an ST7735 display with an STM32F401CCU6 simply writes text. For some reason, I started with the wrong library, namely Adafruit_ILI9341, which resulted in the first photo. When I finally realized that I was using the wrong library, I switched to Adafruit_ST7735, but here I have the problem that it doesn’t get through the initialization (that’s my assumption). I’ve already tried the different initR variants. Hello,I am trying to establish UART communication between STM32G070RBTX and ESP32 Devkit using AT commands.Connections: STM32 UART TX ESP32 RX, STM32 UART RX ESP32 TX, and common GNDPower ESP32 powered from 5V pin by usb or base boardBaud rate 115200On reset, ESP32 does not print ok or any AT response.Very rarely once in many tries I get a single AT command response,but after that no communication happens.Even pressing the reset button does not bring it back. When I connect the ESP32 module via USB  to Dockight and send AT commands, the communication works fine.

Hello Community, I've been trying without success to setup an SPI interface to a LCD panel.  It's an LTDC 24-bit panel but requires configuration over its 3-wire SPI interface.  I'm using STM32CubeMX 6.15.0 and STM32CubeIDE 1.19.0. Here's the details: The display contains an ST7701S IC that has a 9-bit, half duplex, SPI interface, operating mode RGB+9b SPI(rise).  In this mode the display accepts 9-bit data - the MSB bit (8) indicates whether the following byte is a command or data.  I can issue commands to the display and have it do things (turn all pixels ON/OFF as an example) but I'm unable to successfully read from the device.  A read is initiated by transmitting a read command and then reading the response over SPI.The display is connected as follows: and I have configured it in CubeMX as follows (Note CS and RESET are configured as GPIO outputs).   The timing diagram in the ST7701S datasheet looks like this : This display is using Interface 1

Sorry, I'm very new to microcontrollers in general and was wondering if I would need more SRAM or if I could successfully just write to the display driver's memory and not worry about a big frame buffer. I hope to use LVGL to control a 320x240 16 bit colour depth display using this method, any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated, thank you.For reference, the reason I'm interested in doing this is because I'm using the STM32 F4VE Black board and I can see it has a TFT interface.

The Raspberry Pi Pico 2W is a dual-core Cortex-M33 processor. It has 16 DMA channels per bus. While I'm not sure if the exact number represents all DMA channels, there's only one path each for the master and slave. Therefore, if three modules occupy the DMA, there's a delay of nearly a second when switching processes using FIFO messaging.The B-U585I-IOT02A, an STM32 development board, has a single Cortex-M33 core. According to sources, even with a single core, the bus is multi-layered for DMA, so there should be no delay. Is there any way to configure the HAL to communicate to a slave via I2C WITHOUT sending the address byte first?  I know this is part of the I2C standard, but I would like to implement a TM1637 device, which is similar to I2C but does not use an address byte.I have already implemented a "bit bang" version with delays and GPIO, but it would be nice to use the HAL directly somehow.HAL I2C already gives me STARTs, writes, reads and STOPs, which is most of the TM1637 protocol.  If I could just turn off that pesky address byte!Or maybe this can be done with the SPI interface instead.Suggestions welcome ...

Hi,I need to design a headset with HRTF-type binaura rendering. I'm at the very beginning of my research, and perhaps someone has already completed this type of project.Based on my research, I'll need multiple audio tracks to simulate my environment. Each audio track will be adjusted based on the coordinates and movement from sensors (accelerometer, gyro, compass).There will be a lot of math involved to adjust the audio from the different sources.I was wondering if an STM32H7 (M7 + M4) MCU would be sufficient, or is it imperative to look at something with more resources, like the STM32N6. Would an STM32F4 be sufficient? Power consumption is a crucial issue (battery operation).I've already looked at very specialized chips like the Qualcomm S5, but in terms of volume, we're not their target market.Does anyone have any suggestions? Hello friends, I need to connect thirdparty accelerometer SENSOR to STM32F4 series MCU via SPI. The Sensor Data sheet says:1) Designed to support any MCU  that used software implemented SPI. It is not designed to support any particular hardware implemented SPI.2) MISO: data bits are shifted out on falling edge of SCK3) MOSI: each bit is sampled on the rising edge of SCK. 4) Sensor supports full duplex communication___________________________________________________________________Please suggest how to implement. Can I use SPI peripheral of MCU? If yes, I am not sure about what should be CPHA for CPOL = 0. I need full duplex communication.

What I want to transfer to the buffer are 32-bit words (it is an I2S-to-USB-Audio conversion, and USB deals with bytes).This means I need to align the struct. Hello I'm working on stm32h747 dualcore with iar & ijet with mipi-10 connector.I have a problem in CM4 jtag debug  When I try to debug the CM7 project. It always works fine. Jtag and SWD all works.And if i try to debug the CM4 with SWD method, it works fine too.But, if I try to debug CM4 project, error comes out. Success settings are: - Cm7/Swd/auto - Cm7/jtag/explict tap id=0,core no=0 - Cm4/Swd autoFailed setting is : - Cm4/jtag/explicit tap id=0,core no=1 When i try to debug cm4 with failed setting, Debug log said that cm7 at port 0, cm4 is at port3, but try to attach port1. and debug stopped with error.I think, if i change cm4 dap port number port 0 to port 3, I could debug cm4. Any advise?

I’m trying to connect to an MQTT server and publish a message using the embedded Ethernet port, LwIP, and FreeRTOS. I’m developing with CLion IDE and CMake.Issue description:Every time I set a breakpoint somewhere in the MQTT-related code (located in freertos.c) and click the “Step Over” button, the debugger opens a new tab with stm32f7xx_it.c and jumps into the global Ethernet interrupt handler. Before I added FreeRTOS to the project, debugging worked as expected. As a result, I’m no longer able to debug my application properly.Do you have any idea how I can change this behavior?PS: I’m not sure if this issue is related to my IDE, OpenOCD, or another part of the toolchain, which is why I decided to post here.

Hi all,I’m debugging an SPP (RFCOMM) reconnection issue between an STM32F767ZI and a Microchip RN4678 module talking over UART (921600 bps, RTS/CTS).On first pairing/connection, data flows from STM32→Mac as expected. After disconnecting and reconnecting, the Mac can open /dev/cu.RN****, but no data arrives. Running sudo pkill bluetooth on macOS immediately makes data flow again on the next connection. Hi,I’ve seen several discussions about the use of series resistors between the STM32H753 and external SDRAM, and I’d like to get some clarification. I’m currently building a prototype of my custom board and noticed that on the STM32H753I-EVAL board, 33 Ω resistors are used on the SDRAM interface, while in other designs 0 Ω links are used instead.For a first prototype, would you recommend starting with 33 Ω resistors (as on the eval board), or starting with 0 Ω and only switching to 33 Ω if I encounter signal integrity issues?Thanks,Mohammed
