HiI have Implemented lib_NDEF for st25dv04k and was able to store the ndef format, I can read it with my phone. But with my custom which uses st25r95 I m not able!I m able to read the ndef format from a different tag st25ta (ISO/IEC 14443 Type A) from the documentation I have Implanted the reading command!What are the commands need to be send to read the ndef format or a block of emmory for ST25TV(ISO/IEC 15693 type V) seems not the same as for A type. I find some document , trying to implemet reading a single block but nothing.ThanksReg suads

ST25R3911B, using the ST25RFAL001 and the NDEF library v1.0.4. I'm using the read example found in the ndef.chm file. It's detecting the card fine, but ndefPollerNdefDetect() is returning 0x5 (invalid request or requested function can't be executed at this time). Every very rare once in a while I'll get the same return code from ndefPollerReadRawMessage() so I know I'm close.The software loop is very small. Hi. We are using the RFAL implementation for ST25R3916, with I2C communication. We have a custom board and antenna. We are using the Polling tag detect demo app to do passive NFC-A detection. I have disabled automatic antenna tuning and set the I2C parameters in the IO configuration registers, through the custom analog config file. The problem is we cannot detect any tags. I2C communication and interrupts seem to work, initialization goes well and there are no obvious error events when debugging. I suspect it is some register configuration I have missed. But there are a lot of configuration registers and I am not sure which ones are relevant for me to look at. I'm using the NFC06A1 and NFC-V tags with demo_polling.c and RFAL_ANALOG_CONFIG_CUSTOM in platform.h During the DEMO_ST_DISCOVERY loop and when the case is RFAL_NFC_LISTEN_TYPE_NFCV I am querying the values of the st25r3916AatTuneResult (from st25r3916_aat.h) structure for aat_a and aat_b. The returned results really bounce around when I hold a tag within a set distance of only a few cm and vary wildly through the entire range. Is this the expected behaviour?Also, much like the GUI, what is the best way to see the results of automatic tuning using the RFAL library? Am I on the right track?

Hi,I have a custom board with ST25R95 chip, and I have successfully implemented the card emulation on the custom board without going to sleep(discParam.wakeupEnabled = false).It draws a lot of current, and I need it in sleep mode, but If I set it to true it want work I'm not able to read it with my phone.So I wanted to test it on the X-NUCLEO-NFC03A1 evaluation board I used the demo_ce.c code to test the sleep functionality. But it doesn't work here at all no matter discParam.wakeupEnabled = false or true. If I put the phone to read the board I'm getting on the debug:<<<<8f00 from the datasheet it says :"0x8F00: No field. Command cannot be executed because there is no external field."And I printed the error code it is 0x37:ERR_LINK_LOSS ((ReturnCode)37U) /*!< Other device's field didn't behave as expected: turned off by Initiator in Passive mode, or AP2P did not turn on field */Any Help?ThanksRegards suads

We are moving from ST25R3911 to the latest version ST25R3911B with the firmware and the other circuitry remains the same. But we are seeing the reduction in operating distance for the cards.

Hi,I was wondering if we can use the ST25R3916 or 3917 with two antenna. We connect one on the output/input of the RFO1/RFI1 and the other on the RF02/RFI2. Is that something possible ? I can't seem to find my answer in the datasheet.Also, I want to know what is the major difference between 3916 and 3917, as they have the same datasheet.Thanks !

What is the maximum power that i can use? Which pin can i use to feed the board with external power? What is the max power that is transmitted to the RF circuit of the board? Which are the limitations in power?

I need an NFC module that reads data from NTAG216 cards and also supports Android and IOS phones that send NDEF message from the phone to the NFC module. STM has many variants and models for NFC . I am totally confused and dont know where to start. Can someone help me find a good NFC module as per my requirement.Thanks in advance

I'm trying to decide between the ST25R3911B or the ST25R3916? I realize the ST25R3916 is newer; but newer does not always equal better. Are there any advantages to developing with the ST25R3911B? Primary purpose is to read 15683 transponders in a sometimes wet environment. Looking for a read range of 10cm

The RF password can only be set over RF, I2C has no ability to access these registers (RF_PWD_0/1/2/3). If an RF user sets a password, and then forgets it, is there any built in mechanism to reset the password back to its factory default, or some other way to recover the password?

Hello. I use board st25ru3993-eval and application ST25RU3993 Reader Suite. When tags are readed we can see RSSI LOG Channel I & Q and Input Power. RSSI LOG Channel I & Q we can find in RSSI Display Register in AS3993, but i do not understand how calculate Input Power. I found the document "AN4971 Application note" and there are the formula and table in it.If i calculate by this formula my values are not match those values from Reader Suite. Please, explain me how to calculate Input Power. Thanks!

Hi, I am not sure if this is the right place to ask this question.We are building a new product which requires NFC read/write support, we narrowed our options to one of 2 chips st25r39x and another nxp chip clrc663.Is there any advantage of using the st25r3911b or 3916 over using clrc663?We know that clrc663 support natively crypto1, hence we can read and write on widely used mifare classic cards, and of course it will have native support to all other nxp tags such as Ultralight or Desfire, so another question does st25r39x support read/write functionality to desfire and ultralight?

We are using your board ST25R3911B but we need to use this board by program in c/c++. We found your DLL demo, but is it possible to send only first command to comunicate with ISO14443 type A like RQA/ANTICOLL/SEL and not a send and receive generic, as described in your TAG25 editor, to write or read eventually a NDEF file. Hi,I'm using ST25R3911B-DISCO for reading tags, but I'm interested in optimizing my code.When a search how optimizing codes in C, I see people using #pragma but I don't have the answer in my code after in the proprieties in STMcubeIDE I will go to optimization, but just optimization for debugging works for me. Is It possible to use optimize the speed in that code?

Hi, When I leave my code to play for more than one hour I received the error HardFault_Handler(), I found in registers whats the last line executed before entering in the error function, below I put a picture of this part of the code.  Note: That error is random, don't have a specific moment time when happens.

I have an application which must send > 100KB/day to an RFID/NFC reader (I'm using the STM25R Disco) - for days and years on end.Looking at the EEPROM spec, it's good for 600k write cycles at 85 °C(That means even at 64Kbit EEPROM, wear leveling would be critical for long life.)The Fast Transfer Mode buffer / mailbox is intriguing (256 Bytes) - it seems perfect for my use case - (mainly polling data) - however I cannot find any information about the type of memory used for this or number of write cycles it supports in the datasheet.So, what type memory is used for this FTM mailbox? How many write cycles can it handle?Thank you very much

I had downloaded the source code and try to build the project with Xcode 10.2. it show that "Checksign.h" is missing. I cannot find this header in any source folder. Is it a external header?I am new to iOS app development. :grinning_face_with_sweat:
