Hi, guys,     I've bought STM32H745I-DISCO board to make an EtherCAT master, so I successfully employ EtherNet controller, USART3 for debugging but SPI2 has a problem. (I'm mostly novice fir H745)     I decided to use SPI2 for communication with external STM32F4xx controller, which exchanges 26 16-bit words with H745 board within 10kHz time frame, so it's a bit loaded communication. The attached picture renders the snapshot from logical analyser. 4 upper lines are SPI lines, other 3 lines are GPIOs used for debugging purposes - to show interrupt work.    The picture clearly shows that physical lines exchange data - I see expected 26 16-bit words from F4xx and data sent from H745 - in all cycles the picture is the same. But in reality I see only one time words from 4 to 22 in receive buffer (other appears to be zero), after that they are not updated at all. So receive is fault always. I am making a stm32f411ce board and I want make sure everything works because it's very expensive to order a pcb in my country. I want to use components like Hc-49 8mhz crystal(and dt-38 32.768khz) oscillators with ceramic PTH capacitors, the only smd parts will be the MCU and micro usb and maybe an ams1117 regulator, will I have some issue? is there anything different I have to do?

HI there, I own a couple of STM32H747-DISC0 boards for a year. I been using them without issues debugging but when started a new project, I do not know what went wrong that cannot access to any core from any ST tool (CubeIDE or CubeProgrammer).No matter what kind of access I try (Normal/Hotplug/Under Reset) nor reset mode I use, I always have same message "Error: ST-LINK error (DEV_CONNECT_ERROR). I always access using SWDAfter removing the LCD panel, I tried also to shortcut R192 (BOOT0) to perform a external bootloader, with same result.. (BTW ST, maybe this thing should be in a jumper...)However I am able to perform a FW upgrade of the ST-Link device, which I think means is alive.I tried also MacOS (usually I use windows).Does someone have a hint?Thanks in advance.JUan

I bought a 1Set STM32F407VET6 Industrial Control Board from AliExpress to evaluate the STM32 MCU family but I can't find any information about it. 1Set STM32F407VET6 Industrial Control Board I've used many different Arduino, Teensy, ESP32 and other such boards with Arduino and VSC/platform.io IDEs in the past and I'm used to having to dig around for info, but I can not find ANYTHING on this board, although it is for sale on many sites.I've installed the Arduino STM32 libraries, but I don't know how to download firmware to it or the I/O pins for any of the peripherals.Can I use a USB to TTL converter and if so, which pins do I connect to?What positions do the jumpers need to be in to upload firmware? What 'Mode' of firmware upload should I use?Are there any Example programs out there to get me going?Any help greatly appreciated, thanks.   

Hi there!Im new with ST MCUs and im using a Nucleo F429ZI, i have some documents and one of them is the 'nucleo-f429zi.pdf' but is too short and doesnt have too much informationIm working with user push button connected to PC13 but i want to know if this button has an external pull up/  pull down resistor on the board, and if doesnt i guess i have to set it by softwareWhere can i found schematics or additional information like this for this board?Also you would help me if you tell me if PC13 has a pull up/down resistor on the boardThanks in advance!, sorry for my english, not a native speaker

I have a Nucleo WB55RG board with in built ST-Link.I programmed it with a blinky LED & a UART message "Hi there!\n" via the CubeIDE on a different PC & it all works fine. TeraTerm has no problem selecting the ST-Link device connected to the PCNow running it on a new PC I keep getting "No ST-Link Detected" when trying to download from CubeTeraTerm cant find any COM ports when the board is plugged in but can find Arduino devices communicating via serial with no problem when they are plugged in.The device doesn't even show up in the Device Manager.I have installed ST-Link drivers & have successfully programmed other Nucleo boards with this PC in the past.When the board is plugged in  the com LED next to the ST USB flashes red & LED5 is on-redI have uninstalled & reinstalled the latest ST-Link version but nothing.I'm on USB cable number 3 so I doubt that a ddgy cable is th eissue unless I'm unlucky enough to have 3 failed cables.

I´ve bought a new ST-Link V2 from a reputable electronics Vendor (Reichelt, Germany) to connect to my Cartographer 3d scanner for a 3d Printer with an stm STM32 chip. It is connected correctly as far as I know. I cannot establish any connection. I've also tried another board that didn't get recognized, so I think my ST-Link is broken, or am I overlooking something here? They both sometimes show as SN: 31FF710631315436290343, but as soon as I try to connect they just vanish. Is the ST-Link broken, or am I missing something since this is my first time doing this?

I am using STM32F767ZI board for my projects. But due to some unknown reason, the RED led is turned ON in my nucleo board. I am sharing my code along. The code is very simple and I enabled only a single GPIO to be output. Please let me know my mistake! Where am I going wrong. What is my issue.! Also i haven't enable any GPIO that concerns RED Led. I am working on a STM32N6570-DK board and I noticed that the CN7 of the board can be modified as digital I/O pin or an ADC. So I want to make sure that when I use the A1 port of CN7 for example, and I want to use this port as a usart_tx. Then I can directly enable the PC10 as a usart_tx and disable the PA9 right? And I want to make sure that the modification don't damage the ADC function of PA9, since the MCU actually accept 0-1.8V and the 3.3V is too high.

Hello , everyone. I am currently working with the STM32N657X0H3Q device on the NUCLEO-N657X0-Q board.Following the official Template_FSBL_LRUN example, I successfully generated and signed both FSBL and Appli binaries using STM32CubeIDE and STM32_SigningTool_CLI v2.19.0. In DV Mode (BOOT1 = High), I programmed:The trusted FSBL binary to address 0x70000000The trusted Appli binary to address 0x70100000 After programming, I set the BOOT1 jumper back to low (BOOT1 = 0) to boot from external XSPI Flash.However, after reset, the board appears unresponsive — no LED blinking or visible activity from the Appli. As suggested in the documentation, I have enabled the NO_OTP_FUSE preprocessor macro in the FSBL project. I would appreciate your help in identifying why the application does not execute after the FSBL handover. You will find

Dear STMicroelectronics Support, I recently purchased two STEVAL-SPIN3201 boards. I initially attempted to connect them to my PC using a regular USB cable. The PC recognized the boards, but I encountered the following error when trying to program them: "ST-LINK not found target." To address this, I purchased an external ST-LINK debugger. After connecting it and trying to upload a test provided from ST MC Motor Workbench, I received a memory access error. I performed a chip erase which resolved the memory issue. However, I am now facing problems with UART communication. In Motor Pilot, I get the error: "No ST-LINK found", even though the debugger appears to be connected. I also attempted to connect the board via USB to TTL, but on STM32CubeProgrammer, I receive an error suggesting a problem with UART communication and asking to "Check Boot mode." Additionally, after the chip erase, the board is no longer recognized by the PC when using the regular USB cable, and I constantly get No ST-L

Yesterday, I have flashed faulty code to my STM32, and now I can't connect to it via ST-Link or the UART bootloader. I've tried using STM32 ST-Link Utility and STM32CubeProgrammer, but neither works. How can I erase the flash memory? Do I need to buy a new chip?i using stm32f103c8t6

 hi, I am integrating ADS1256 ADC, which communicates on SPI with NUCLEO-H753ZI board. Firstly, I can communicate when I am writing my code in Arduino, which is simple. It is working fine and showing me the converted output. But for some reasons I have to use cubide and perform some work on ethernet after establishing communication on SPI. But through cubeIDE I am not able to establish cube ide. below is Clock configBut with same flow as in Arduino, I cannot stablish communication. HiI have developed a device based on the Nucleo G071RB and X-NUCLEO-DRP1M1 boards. The main difference in my design is that my MCU is in a UFQFPN28 package, which means I only have the CC1 pin and not the CC2 pin. The USB PD is configured to work in dual role mode.However, I am facing an issue where the PD negotiation does not start when I connect a USB device (an Android smartphone). Using an oscilloscope, I observed that the CC line goes to Rd when the USB PD is set as the source. The MCU then sends a message to the TCPP over I2C, and VBUS is passed to the sink. Despite this, the PD negotiation does not commence.I have not implemented a virtual COM port for monitoring USB PD, so I do not have all the traces. However, I have enabled some parts of the code for debugging.
