Hi,I am new to STM32 and using DSI for the first time.I generated the simplest code for bringing up a custom DSI display board using CubeMX and TouchGFX. Hello, I've built a project with an STM32F767 and a USB HID connection. I also have a Visual Studio 2010 application to set PA0 to 1 for testing. My connection is established, and in Device Manager, the USB Custom HID device is recognized, but I can't set PA0 to 1. I built my USB HID code using Cube MX and the HidLibrary.dll driver for VB2010. I don't understand why I'm having this problem. Can anyone help? I am able to get a result, temperature acquisition and change of state of PA0 in CDC mode. Best regards. My code is attached. Hi @FBL I am working on a similar project like This one (USB CDC ACM device with Power Delivery in Source mode using USBX in standalone mode, FreeRTOS and USBPD with a TCPP02). The STM32 used is the H573I.I have found some code to add in the function USBPD_DPM_Notification() in usbpd_dpm_user.c (solution you gave).But in my code, the functions called are undefined because the file usbpd_usb_if.c is not generated. What I am missing?

My goal is to use timers to follow the required timing steps for a module I’m working with. To achieve this, I decided to use two timers — TIM1 and TIM2.TIM2 is responsible for counting the T1 time step. For this, I’m using One-Pulse Mode, so TIM2 is configured to count a 2 µs delay.

Dear all,I'm working on a project based on STM32F479 and FreeRTOS. In this project the microcontroller is connected via I2C and SPI bus to other devices, such as switch ethernet and spi-uart converter. I run the initialization of these devices before the start of the FreeRTOS scheduler. Startup procedure requires switching some GPIOs and waiting a few milliseconds as described in the devices datasheet. I've manged the waiting part of the initialization using the HAL_Delay function. This project has been generated in 2019 with STM32F4 fw package 1.24.0 and an old version of STM32CubeMX.Recently I've created a new project for the same hardware using fw package 1.28.0 and STM32CubeMX 6.11.1. I noticed that the initialization of TIM6 in stm32f4xx_hal_timebase_tim.c has been updated and HAL_InitTick function is changed (which you can find in the attachment). Hi,On the STM32N6570-DK board, I’m running an application that uses TouchGFX and FileX.Both the TouchGFX frame buffer and FileX temporary buffers are located in external memory (XSPI1).I’m observing intermittent write failures when SDMMC IDMA is used for direct transfers from external memory to the SD card. The issue appears as incorrect data being written — typically affecting the entire transfer block (a few kilobytes), as shown in the image below.External memory is attributed as non-cacheable all the time. Selecting various shareability options for the ext memory introduces very strange behavior, so it's been disabled finally.However, when the write operation is performed from internal SRAM (either via an intermediate buffer in SRAM or the FileX driver’s scratch buffer), the transfers are always successful.

Hi All,I am using ThreadX on an STM32H753. The version of ThreadX being used is 6.1. I use this older version because it is ISO-62304 certified. All is functioning as desired but each time I execute code generation from CubeMX the ThreadX files are overwritten with version 6.4 (not certified). Is there any way I can avoid the update of ThreadX when I regenerate the code from CubeMX?Thank You,Gil

I have read these forums and I see some have successfully got the F407 connected to KSZ8863 working. I am trying to do a simple non managed switch RMII PHY connection to the third port with no luck. I have confirmed the 50mhz clock input to the KSZ8863 is working as I can get port 1 and port 2 to transfer packets between each other, no issues at 100mbps just no packets to the processor. The schematic pdf I upload here shows my physical connections to the 407 and in the past I have successfully use the DP83848 out of the box. If anyone has a connection diagram to the 407 that works it would be much appreciated if you could share it along with any driver that you might have used.Update: I added a screenshot showing I do see rx data activity on the RII interface back at the processor.Thanks,

Hi all, this is my first project with the STM32H5 and the new FileX/UsbX, before I was using G0 and F4 chips and knew my way around the FatFS and USBD software packages... A new project made the use of the H5 necessary because it has a USB and SDMMC peripheral. I want to configure the H523RCT6 as a USB mass storage device that gets detected by a PC and provide mass data storage via the SD-card (SDMMC1 peripheral). As soon as the PC puts a file on the SD card I need to detect it and stream it via UART to a different device... My problem is that I can't find a configuration that allows me to simultaneously use the SD-card as mass storage for the PC and detect when the contents were changed on the card. Right now every possibility I considered are suboptimal or do not work.  Option 1: periodically init the FileX on the SD-card, check for files and transmit them via UART, then de-init FileX and init USB MSC. I try to write my Bootloader using stm32l1 MCU and project from link but my mcu not powerful 32MHz max and have slow flash write memoryhttps://github.com/sfyip/STM32F103_MSD_BOOTLOADER/blob/master/Src/Principle: emulate Fat32 file system and directly write new firmware to flash memory with decoding it from STORAGE_Write_FS() function. Everything works, but when file size >100KB, sometimes errors occur. 50% of write tests fail. Bootloader check CRC firmware, Windows sent error, or end copies but not full firmware write. Maybe you have ideas how to solve this problem?

STM32H757 has FreeRTOS running. The goal is to stream JPEG data to the display using HAL interfaces to get performance. However, it is not working yet and I am here to get some guidance.  I have it working with using third party library libJPEG. The STM32CubeG4 package comes with CMSIS v5.6 (https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeG4/tree/master/Drivers/CMSIS) which I think was released in July 2019.Is it necessary to use this version or can I upgrade it to a later release? Currently v6.1 is the latest CMSIS release. 

Hi all,          I'm using the STM32F746ZG Nucleo (CubeF7 LwIP HTTP Server Netconn RTOS example). I start my app when the netif gets a valid IPv4 using netif_set_status_callback (LWIP_NETIF_STATUS_CALLBACK=1) and then bind a UDP socket on the assigned IP. Calling getaddrinfo with service “0” (ephemeral) returns EAI_SERVICE (201): “udp: listen: getaddrinfo: <ip>:0 (error 201)”. What’s the recommended POSIX/LwIP way to bind a UDP socket with an ephemeral port on STM32—should I skip getaddrinfo(…, “0”) and bind with sockaddr.sin_port=0 directly? Also, is starting sockets from the netif status callback (after DHCP assigned IP) the correct timing on F7?

Hello everyone,I am working with an ST M 32 U 585 V I T micro controller and I would like to use an SD card for file read/write operations using Azure File X.I have enabled Thread x and File X middle ware in S T M 32 Cube IDE (Cube M X), but I am not completely sure about the hardware connections, Cube M X configuration, and code implementation for SD M M C with File X.

Greetings! So, I used the OpenBootloader project, and then flashed a GPIO_IOToggle firmware in other area of the flash, close to the example in the video Introduction to Open Bootloader, Part 3: Loading an Application.  In that example the CubeProgrammer flashes through the DFU and check "run after programming". When I unplug the board and turn it back on, the OpenBootloader starts (as expected). What I want to do is, as soon as I flash the application, when I turn off the board and turn it on again, the application starts to run and not the bootloader, OR, it starts the bootloader, it checks if there's any application installed, and if yes, it jumps to the application immediately. Any clue on how to do that?Thank you!

Hello,I have been trying to setup Ethernet on a NUCLEO-H563ZI to no avail. As recommended I am using the NETXDUO middleware. When setting up my project with CubeMX I enable DHCP but the MCU never seems to send any DHCP packets (Checking through wireshark). This is with completely unmodified code provided by the NX Core Init which generates the nx_app_thread_entry. After some further debugging it seems like the program hangs while waiting for the DHCP Semaphore which says that an IP Address is ready. Specifically this line:tx_semaphore_get(&DHCPSemaphore, TX_WAIT_FOREVER) != TX_SUCCESS Memory is not an issue in this case as those have been previous issues. I now assign well over 20kb for tx_app and nx_app.This sample program was also tested on a fresh board out of the box. I also have another script that seems to work halfway with messages for DHCPDiscover and DHCPOffer.
