I've relocated the .text section of a test project to SRAM1 through the C-bus address (starting at 0x0A00 0000). I have relocated the main function into SRAM1.The code runs fine, and if I suspend the chip and navigate to the 0x0A00 0000 address space on the disassembly view the code and debug information (function names, source code references, etc.) is present and visible.Navigating to 0x2000 0000 on the disassembly view also displays the same assembly instructions but without any debug informationWith main located in SRAM1, the debugger fails to stop on entry into main, despite the debug configuration setting.If I set a breakpoint on any code that is located in SRAM1, the debugger does not suspend on those breakpoints, UNLESS I set a breakpoint in the reset handler (which is in FLASH), hit the breakpoint after a reset, and step into main from the reset handler, then it stops on breakpoints normally. Hello,I am using STM32H750ZB variant for an HMI custom project and I am using SDRAM via FMC.When I configure FMC in cubeide1.19.0, I can't see the FMC_NBL0 and FMC_NBL1.I can actually add these pins as GPIOs, but I can't define the AF as AF12_FMC.I know from the datasheet that this package supports it but I want your confirmation as I still don't have HW to test and don't want to change the package again and redo the HW.Thanks,Ayoub  

As i updated my STM32CubeIDE to the latest site version available, i am getting new errors in my working code.Those errors before update were displayed as warnings but after update they are turning into errors. passing argument 2 of 'xfunc' from incompatible pointer type [-Wincompatible-pointer-types]My -Werror is unchecked from the start.If someone can help me how to resolve it, Thanks in advance.

To sum up my project, i get temperature value from NTC. I made ADC reading. There is no problem about getting values. I define temperature value as floating point variable. When observing it on debug screen, because it was floating, numbers after . is too much like seven digit. As you see in picture, is there any way to reduce the number of digits on debug window? temperatureDisplay 

I am not able to find the built in drivers, which comes by default, when you download the software. This is not allowing me to get the whole main.c file to perform the projects. Can anyone help

Hi everyone, I’ve been working on an STM32 project using STM32CubeIDE on Windows 10 (i7-9700K, 16GB RAM), and I’m running into a frustrating issue. Every time I start a debug session on my Nucleo-F446RE board, the IDE sometimes freezes or crashes after hitting a breakpoint. I’ve tried updating CubeIDE to the latest version and reinstalling the ST-Link drivers, but it’s still happening intermittently.One thing I did notice is that my system isn’t always completely clean in the background. I sometimes run lightweight games during breaks, like Stick War Legacy, and recently I tried a mod APK version from stickwarmods. I’m not sure if something from that could be affecting system stability or leaving background processes running, but I thought it might be worth mentioning in case it’s related.Has anyone faced similar issues, or is there a recommended way to debug without the IDE crashing? Any tips would be really appreciated!

Hello,I just downloaded STMCubeIDE 2.1.1 to generate a simple project for a Nucleo-C562RE board.I am not using CubeMX2 (for various reason, that is not the point).The default empty project generated for STM32C562RE by the IDE has only 1 SRAM element with a size of 64K, instead of 2 SRAM elements of 64K each.FLASH size is correct though.Out of curiosity, if ST were to push a fix for this kind of bug, would it be a new IDE release ? or could it be a STM32C5 pack update only ?

When i try to add breakpoint, there is a cross sign on breakpoint symbol. So even if the code works, breakpoint never works.I try to add __asm("BKPT 0"); but it also did not work. I am not sure what is the problem.My CubeID version is: Version: 2.1.1Build: 28236_20260312_0043 (UTC)

Hi, I'm using stm32cubeide version 2.1.1 and version 1.15.1/windows11, both are compiling the same project on my PC at slower speed compared to a lab computer.(3min vs 20seconds) Any idea what could be causing the issue? Thanks!

All available updates have been applied.I've used File/STM32 Project Create to create an STM32CubeIDE Empty Project for the NUCLEO-U3C5ZI-Q board (all settings at the defaults offered).The project is created, along with the startup and linker files, but there is no .ioc file.

I have five projects on the go, which compile and debug well on STM32CubeIDE 1.X.X (at least for 1.12.0+), but with warnings. I am now trying to shift to more recent versions of CubeIDE (2.X.X), but they behave as if ">Properties>C/C++Build>Settings>Tool Settings>MCU>MPU GCC Compiler>Warnings>Treat warnings as errors (-Werror)" is enabled, even when it is not.I believe that my settings in the more recent CubeIDE are identical to the older one, and I have tested this on two different computers with similar results. The error which is currently causing the compilation to halt is " ...error: implicit declaration of function 'xxxxx' [Wimplicit-function-declaration]", but if I resolve it, another item which should be a (legitimate) 'warning' will appear as an 'error'. I am using "ISO C11 (-std=c11)", and have the same issue if I attempt to use GNU11.Unfortunately, I cannot resolve all the warnings without creating other problems, so this issue is preventing me f

I have recently installed STM32CubeIDE 2.1.1 on linux and opened an existing project workspace. Everything looks fine except the integration with CubeMX for ioc files (which I believe is now by-design). The problem I have is after going to eclipse marketplace and installing Subclipse, it installs fine, then after restarting it goes into an endless loop saying the application is not responding. Finally, I got a message about "Failed to load JavaHL Library.", but I'm not sure if that's the real cause as dismissing the dialog reverts back to the application not responding loop.  Reinstalling the IDE does not help. The only way I've found to get the IDE to work is by removing the stm32 folder under $HOME/.eclipse, but this doesn't correct the issue with subclipse or its connection to subversion. Any help much appreciated.

STM32CubeIDE 1.14.1I have imported a CubeMX generated makefile project.  When I enter the debug configuration dialog, I get an error "Unsupported build configuration. MCU ARM GCC required for debug." I have not found any documentation from ST indicating how to install this.  I am also curious why a dependency required to debug an ST MCU does not come with ST's Eclipse debugger. The Eclipse Marketplace returns an error 500 when I search for MCU ARM GCC.The Install New Software dialog just spins forever, not even loading any package data. What I'm looking to do:Debug an MCU application on my target board.I do not actually care about STM32CubeIDE, I am fine using stock Eclipse.  But I do need documentation on how to set up the actual ST specific debug tooling, and this information either doesn't exist or is difficult to find.  If ST's IDE works, that's fine too, I don't really care.
