What is the actual backup input supply voltage range for Teseo LIV4F receivers? Datasheet says that it is 3-3.63V which is really high and doesn't make sense to add any Lithium battery as a backup supply because it will very quickly drop below 3V at the beginning of operation (CR2032/CR1220). But X-NUCLEO-LIV4A1 (https://www.st.com/resource/en/data_brief/x-nucleo-liv4a1.pdf) has a place for CR2032 battery socket and even diode D2 in series on which will be some extra voltage drop. So the question is it a mistake in board design or the actual minimum VBAT voltage is less than it's written in the datasheet? In the second case, it's a drawback of these receivers, at least for my use-case.

Hello All, I am currently working on implementing a bootloader via CAN on the SPC582B60E1 microcontroller (i.e., Update the firmware file using CAN). To achieve this, I have been referring to the "Firmware Updater Component" PDF document.and also referring to 'SPC582Bxx_RLA Bootloader Test Application for Discovery' sample application code.Following the instructions outlined in the document, I have set up the communication mode, baud rate, and address for the program to be loaded. During the upload process, I have been adhering to the procedure of sending the password first, followed by the binary file size of the program, and then the bin file itself.However, despite successfully sending the password and binary size frames, I am encountering an error when attempting to send the binary program. Specifically, the error indicator LED turns on after sending the binary size frame, and subsequently, the binary program fails to upload.I am reaching out for guidance on the correct proced

Hi Guys, We want to build a complete hardware setup with a SPC58EC-DISP board, AEKPOW-100W4V1, and AEK-USB-TYPEC1 and want to show USB-PD functionality with fixed and programmable output. 1. The first issue we face is AEK-USB-TYPEC1 giving only default 5 V output and other output voltages we are not getting. We are unable to know whether the software for the USB PD application is preloaded in the SPC58 microcontroller? 2. We are unable to find the resource related to SPC5-UDESTK-SW USB/JTAG debugger software, hence unable to run the UDE application.  Looking for a suggestion?  What are the software required to build and monitor USB-PD applications?

The FreeRTOS version of FreeRTOS Component RLA is V10.1.1, however this version is very old (September, 2018).Is there some way to update the FreeRTOS Component?The SPC5Studio version is V6.Best regards.

I debug up to hear and the flow of the code is blocked in this function,(after adding freeRTOS) in  the project. i don't know what is the error. i had used the low level API which is avaliable in the document. the flow is like this in the main function. at AEK_903D_Init(). it is blocked. and not coming out of that API. please help me out.

Hi everyone,I am using SPC58 MCU and Autodevkit IDE. In that I have taken Avas_Compact_Test_Application example as the base source code1. And, During execution, before integration of FreeRtos the execution was entering osalThreadDelayMilliseconds()      and coming out of it and executing further code, but after integration of FreeRtos, the execution is entering                osalThreadDelayMilliseconds() but not coming out of that API and further code is not getting executed. I have            not modified anything in the base source code expect integration of FreeRtos even though I'm facing this                  problem. Can anyone help me to come out this problem. 2. If I run base code it is working fine and if I just import FreeRtos Components without any modifications in source      code then it is building through but getting "NACK_

Recently, I updated my SPC5 Studio, only to find that it began malfunctioning. In an attempt to resolve the issue, I decided to uninstall and reinstall the software. However, as a newcomer to SPC5 Studio, I was unaware that this action might result in the removal of my projects from the workspace. Upon reinstalling the software, to my dismay, I discovered that my project was nowhere to be found. This has left me in a state of shock and distress, as the project contained months of diligent effort. Dear Community Members,I was exploring AEK-COM-ISOSPI1, SPI to isoSPI dongle, based on L9963T transceiver for one of my new project. I wanted to make use of this interface product for a simulating software that runs on a Teensy 4.0 microcontroller. I have verified that the SPI data is received to the board, but unfortunately no signal was available on the isoSPI end. The setup and scenario is as below:Teensy 4.0 (at 2MHz, SPI Mode0) acts as Master and I need this board to be on slave mode. Hence, I kept the jumper NSLAVE at JP1=0. The signals at SCK (TP6), SDI (TP7) and NCS (TP8) looks good as expected which was sent from the Teensy microcontroller. VDD and VIO was set to 5V. The other jumper connections are not quite clear to me however I tried few combinations and none of them seems to give me the isoSPI signals. For example, I tried TXAmp =0, TXEN =1, ISOFreq=1, BNE=0 and DIS=0 (JP2-JP6 respectively). I have also measured the signals at the L9963T pins input and all looks good. It s

Dear experts,  I have worked with the SPI of  SPC563 without any problem before. Also, I checked the example of the SPC564 and I am not seeing any differences. now I am trying to config the SPI of a SPC564A70 myself. When I monitored the chip select pin with osciloscope, I saw that the logic of CS pin is inverted. meaning that it is low all the time and when I send the message it becomes high. I also checked the inactive state of the pin in configurations and all of them are "inactive high". can you help me regarding this issue? Thank you

Hi Everyone, I'm working with a SPC570S discovery board. I uploaded a code with my SPC5-UDESTK debugger and the codes were successfully uploaded. But suddenly I couldn't upload any code using that, and its green LED still works. But I tested the same code with another similar SPC5-UDESTK debugger and it worked. I checked my SPC5-UDESTK debugger with other development boards also. Unfortunately, it is not working but its green LED is working. Please help me to sort this issue out.Thanks Yohan 

Hello! I bought the development board for SPC560B! When using SPC5STUDIO programming software, I found that I don't know how many functions defined in C language are defined! I just want to ask if you have explanations for the initialization definitions of functions such as clocks, SPI, interrupts, etc., so that I can understand them better! Hi all,I'm trying add FPU exception to my project and I'm bit confused because two sources points two different interrupt vectors for this. Book E says, FPU exception is under IVOR33 but SPC58xH manual points IVOR10. And SPC5Studio libraries have "decrementer support" under IVOR10. I suspect SPC58xH is right for me but I want to be sure.  regardsMichal

Hi,I tried to write a piece of code involving multiplication and addition (a*b+c) hoping the compiler would automatically use the FMA (fused multiply-add) instruction. However, it seems to still decompose it into separate instructions, efsadd and efsmul. I've attempted to use compiler options like -O3 or -ffpcontract=fast, but I haven't seen it compile into FMA instructions. I'd like to ask if FMA instructions are supported? (I've seen instructions like fmadd mentioned in the documentation).Best regards,
