I read from the OpenOCD docs in spc5 studio, I can only found sample instructions OpenOCD for spc58 family. But can't find any info about spc57 family support. Did spc5 studio openocd also working for other spc5 mcu family?

I am a bit too new to this St universe, could someone please point ,me in the right direction?I would like to update the Firmware on my BMS L9963 board. I found a folder on the website for the GUI for download. It contains a ELF file and some .dllsHow do I transfer this onto the board? I have SPC5 Studio and the Autodevkit installed. There are no samples for that BMS other than an example for timers (?).How? Why? :) Comming from the Arduino universe I am very very lost right now. Maybe someone could help? Is there a noob guide somewhere? How to get all of this going? 

I tried to periodically send SPI data using PIT timer on SPC572.but whenever the timer interrupt call the SPI to transmit the data, the MCU freezing. while, when call the SPI transmit from main function, it working fine.any suggestion to solve this issue? thanks 

Hi all,I'm working on SPI communication between SPC582B and peripherals. I succesfully made it but I've found,  delay between characters sent by CPU is about 8us in 1MBit mode. Delay between last transmitted bit and tfff (transmit FIFO not full) is about 5us. How (and if) can this delay be reduced?regards

Hi,i used SPC5Studio 5.8.1 for many years, but today (after windows update) in Properties->Tool Chain Editor->Current toolchain->"No ToolChain".This means that i have no possibility to change Build Settings. The same things also in SPC5Studio 6.Of course i have C:\SPC5Studio-6.0\eclipse\plugins\com.st.tools.spc5.tools.gnu.gcc.ppcvle.win32_4.9.4.20200908161514\toolchainSomebody can help to fix this?Thank you in advantages.

I am currently working on a project that involves implementing a data reception feature using the SPC584B-DISP board and the example application "RLA Serial DMA Test Application for Discovery 2."The objective is to efficiently receive approximately 3kbytes of irregularly sized data. After evaluating the Half and END Interrupt (Rx Callback) method, we found it to be inefficient for our requirements. Instead, we are interested in using the idle interrupt to achieve better performance.To proceed with the implementation, I would appreciate your assistance in understanding the necessary registers and methods to achieve our goal.Thank you for your time and support. Hi guys,In my project, i am implementing DMA-SPI Tx/Rx for SPC58NH.Interrupt SPI is verified. Communication is checked.Problem is when i activate DMA for specific SPI channel, it triggers DBE(destination Bus Error).For example, DMA ch 12(DMACHMUX_0) - DSPI 3 Tx, it always reports DBE flag and there is no Tx(monitored by Oscilloscope) and of course, there is no data in PUSHR(Tx data)But DMA ch 12 - DSPI 0, 2, 4, 6 are working without DBE flag, i also can monitor data in PUSHR(Tx data).Funny thing is DSPI 1, 3, 5 are not working with same flag.I believe SPI/DMA configuration has no issue, if it has issue, it shouldn’t work with other channel.I’ve tried to search related information but it has very less information about DBE. If you have any clue on this, please share your knowledge.Thank you!

Hello,Currently I am working with SPI communication in SPC58EC DISP Discovery board. I wanted to evaluate communication between  MS-SL and SL-MS. I have configured SPID1 as master and SPID2 as slave. I was able to send data from master to slave using  below functions. spi_lld_receive(&SPID2, TRANSFER_BUFFER_SIZE, &spihandler_rx_fifo);spi_lld_send(&SPID1, TRANSFER_BUFFER_SIZE, transmitBuff);But how can I transmit data from slave to master ? Can I use the same functions for it or should I use spi_lld_exchange?Thanks and regards.

I am trying to configure flexray registers. But Controller is resetting when I access 0xFFFE0000, the address of MVR register. It is readable when I connect SPC5UDESTK in peripheral register window. I am using SPC560P44L3CEFAR mcu. Does it have flexray peripheral?

Hello,I purchased SPC5-UDESTK-EVAL kit from Digi-Key and now I am trying to get the license file from PLS website for it as the product page says "SPC-UDESTK HW adapter plus perpetual, full-feature free of charge license, but with code size limitation to 256 kB" for the EVAL kit. At the moment I can only use the UDE Starterkit. The license form requires the product serial number and the activation code. I only have the product serial number.Not sure how to get or where to find the activation code. If the code was written on a paper in the box it came with, it's thrown away. I have the serial number of the adapter though. Is it possible to recover the code? Any help would be appreciated.

Dear experts,I am encountering an issue while assigning a value to an element of a struct that I'm using a pointer to access. The code compiles successfully and programs on our SPC563Mx MCU board. However, when attempting to assign a value to a specific element, the code does not function as expected. I'm wondering if there are any limitations or restrictions that I might be overlooking. I am succeded connect and initialize the flash with UDE STK 5.2, but when I try to program the flash with memtool, the program button is unclickable.where's the step I am missing?

I work with this component and i want to estimate the maximum current consumption, in the other MCU there is section how talk about maximum current consumption in run mode or I can simulate with cubeMX but with this MPU I don't found this parameter, can you help me as soon as possible please what is the worst case current consumption of SPC584Cx ?

I'm using SPC58EC80 (SPC58EC DISP). I have coded the MCU for standby mode. It's working well but I have program it like wheather the MCU is booting from power ON or from standby wakeup. I bought this spc582b-dis board. Successfully uploaded the code to the board a several times.After a while I couldn't connect the board to the ude. This message shows up when I'm trying to connect the board to the UDE . (Device manager isn't showing any issue with the drivers as well). I have attached the images of the error message and my development board here.

Hello,we consider using SPC57x or SPC58x for our products. I did find Safety Manuals for STM8 and STM32 but non for SPC5x. I know the chapter in the Reference Manuals with explanations of the CRC, STCU2 ... modules but I'm missing a complete list/table of neccessary safety mechanisms like in the STM32 Safety Manuals.Were can I get the Safety Manuals for the SPC57x and SPC58x?Fabian S.
