Hi,I'm trying to build SPC5 application in gitlab CI.While running the job, I'm getting an error$ make Compiling boot.s make: ppc-freevle-eabi-gcc: Command not found make: *** [components/spc560bxx_platform_component_rla/lib/rsc/rules.mk:137: build/obj/boot.o] Error 127I can able to build the application in the PC, but not in the gitlab CI.I don't know how to fix this, but I am aware I'm adding the required path in Makefile itself.export PATH := C:\SPC5Studio\eclipse\plugins\com.st.tools.spc5.tools.gnu.gcc.ppcvle.win32_4.9.4.201809141314\toolchain\bin\:$(PATH_SEPARATOR)${PATH}Still, no improvements while running it in CI.Please help me out.Regards,Prashanth

Hello, I am using SPC560C50L3 microcontroller for my application. I am trying to implement Non-Maskable interrupt at the pin number PA[1]. I tried configuring the NMI related registers but while executing the NMI configuration function the core is getting halted or core will be executing the unknown instruction. I attaching my sample code for your reference. Please do suggest how I can configure the NMI function successfully.Also I am not finding the interrupt mapping for NMI. Kindly someone please share me the vector address mapped or the IRQ handler (number or callback) associated with NMI.Regards,R.Santhamurthy

I want to develop a bootloader for SPC560p40l3 controller.I've read about BAM and SBL.But that method is Hardware dependent, i.e we've to give 1 logic to a[4] to get it into boot mode(CAN/UART).I don't want to use the internal Boot module.Is there any other way to flash the code.

I'm implementing JTAG over CAN as described in AN4345, "Debug over CAN". https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00094335.pdfIn sections 5 and 6, mention is made of an example Greenhills project with the code described in the app note. I followed SPC5670L5DiSC board schematics ..i got issue..even though i didnt connect JTAG and i power on circuit the RESET_B pin always gives me LOW...which is not detected by UDESTK debugger so cant program ...i even disconnected the reset IC that also no help...if i power on RESET_B is always LOW..but in discovery its working properly..it has been pulled up by 2.2k...so its high...but in my design it is LOW..i follwed same...i need help with this.. i attach my schematic and also my refernce schematic.

I have some examples that I acquired through Google searches. There is some trouble right away with trying to init the data flash memory. The ECC will not allow initial writing and gens an IVOR2 fault.

I am working with 560B54L5 discovery board. I am using runtime IO component with uart test application. I am able to send data at one channel at a time(one channel).my issues arehow to receive the data using interrupt in case of runtime IO?How can I use three channel at a time in case of runtime IO?what is the parameter in runtime io function (fd and flags)?If I can not use runtime IO for 3 uart channel than can you please suggest me some alternate for removing the delay component after write function.status = sd_lld_write(&SD1,command,getStrlen(command));osalThreadDelayMilliseconds(200);Thanks Rewatee

I used the stm application fot configuaring the Timer.1.first picture shows the timer is working for just 4 seconds but i want it to run continously i used the stm_lld_enable inside the for loop and it is not working i dont know why.

Hi all, I'm using SPC570S0DISP DEMO Board(SPC570S50E1) to lean how to config CAN's filter.And the attachment is my config and source code. In my config,i just want CAN ID 0x112 to interrupt fifo callback function.And then i get the data in callback function. But unfortunatelly,ID 0x112/0x200/0x312/0x400/0x512/0x600/0x712 can interrupt fifo callback also. So,can anyone help me correct my configuration and explain it?thanks.Jer.

Hi,This is for SPC560Bxx. I need clarification on set address for bootloader and the 32-bit address that shall be mentioned on UART/CAN frame. There is one column in firmware updater component, where we are supported to choose it the set address, here 0x0010000 or 0x0018000, yes, it is mentioned in 28-bits. There shall be another address sent via UART/CAN line, in step 2 of boot process after valid password verification. I got bit confused here and would like to have a clarification on both its usage.So,What is the set address, we are speaking about in firmware updater component?What is the range of load address that can be used for SPC560B54L5? Is it possible to compile the application only with Gcc (free) so do not use GHS or Hightec and flash and run the compiled code?I can tolerate that this compiler is not efficient as those not free.

Goodmorning,    I've been using the STM32 MCUs for a while. Now I should start a safety critical project, nothing complicated, I just have to monitor a signal at precise time intervals and set some GPIO (an interrupt based on a timer and little else) but safety critical.Since the SPC5s are classified as safety critical MCUs, I wanted to understand if they could be suitable for this project.In particular, how do SPC5 differ from STM32? Whay SPC5 si a safety critical MCU?Knowing well the toolchain for STM32 (cubemx + Truestudio) how difficult would it be to switch to the toolchain for SPC5?Thanks in advance,  Federico.
