Hello,I'm currently working with the BlueNRG-2 SoC. I would like to add AES-128 encryption at application-level while leveraging hardware acceleration.The only function I've found that seems to do the job is hci_le_encrypt(). Based on the documentation, it looks like a straightforward function to encrypt a single 128bits block using AES. However, I'm puzzled by the output I get from this function.I did a fairly simple test:I used following the key: `{ 0x00, 0x01, 0x02, 0x03, 0x04, 0x05, 0x06, 0x07, 0x08, 0x09, 0x0a, 0x0b, 0x0c, 0x0d, 0x0e, 0x0f }`I used the following clear block as input: `{ 0x00, 0x11, 0x22, 0x33, 0x44, 0x55, 0x66, 0x77, 0x88, 0x99, 0xaa, 0xbb, 0xcc, 0xdd, 0xee, 0xff }`With hci_le_encrypt(), I always get the following encrypted block: `{ 0xd0, 0xbf, 0xe1, 0xc7, 0x9a, 0x57, 0xa7, 0xe7, 0x4b, 0x27, 0x6e, 0x90, 0xcc, 0xa5, 0xa7, 0x29 }`.Whereas with all other AES implementations I've tried, I get the following encrypted block: `{ 0x69, 0xc4, 0xe0, 0xd8, 0x6a, 0x7b, 0x04,

I have already tested this devkit on LoraWan Network (Objenious) and it works perfectly with Lora Expansion Cube IDE. Now I try to connect it with the SigFox Cube IDE extension but when I press the button, it sends data (read on COM port) but cannot enable it on the SigFox backend as if the message did not leave. The lights remain on the board. Has anyone ever run this board with the SigFox pushbutton expansion kit on CubeIDE? My device is recorded with PAC and DeviceID on my sigfox's backend and is waiting message to activate token.

Hello everyone,​I'm actually trying to make a datalogger for a xnucleo gnss1a1.The expansion board is connected with a ​stm32f446re ​​Following the manual about the connection between the two boards ( referred to stm32F401RE)​, I've set all the pinout and jumper according to specific.​While using the Teseo​ Suite I'm not able to see any firmware in the xnucleo board, and trying to update the firmware (tried both with Teseo software and specific FirmwareUpgrade) there's always problems related to the timeout on the UART transmission between the xnucleo and nucleo.​Specifically, the problem is related to the impossibility to send the data chunk to the xnucleo, whi​le, trying to do a recovery with Teseo software it's possible to communicate with the xnucleo but not to upload any software ( I'm actually trying to upload the STA80904682UPG26 Firmware).​In a first step, thinking it could be a problem related to communication, I've tried to communicate via UART with the xnucleo, using STM32cu

I am trying to receive data from the HX711 amp. This module requires a CLK signal from the mcu (stm32407VG). What is the best solution to send a clock signal to the HX711 module from a GPIO pin ? How to configure this GPIO pin in CubeMx ?

Hi everyone, I have a p-nucleo lorawan 3 kit with a nucleo-l073rz board and a lorawan ns1 lora board. ​I'm trying to setup the AT master example from I-NUCLEO-LRWAN addon using keil uvision. I uploaded the program and activated the CMD_DEBUG but I don't get any output on TeraTerm. ​I firstly tried to follow the instructions on https://community.st.com/s/question/0D53W00000rauT3SAI/cant-make-at-master-application-to-work-on-nucleolrwan1nucleol073rz-pair but it seems that everything as been solved since last version. ​I also tried to use an arduino instead of a nucleo board to talk to the lora board directly but without any success... ​Has anyone faced the same problem? Hello,The S2-LP errata sheet dated 11//2016 states that the SDO pin does not tri-state as expected, for silicon with device info 0x0391.Has this been fixed in later silicon revision?Please advise. Thank you.Regards.

Hi,We are currently working on a custom board with the SPBTLE-RF0 used for BLE communication and a uC from the L4 family (STM32L4A6VGT6P). We used the SensorDemoBLE example as a starting point and programmed it to the board through SWD. From adding breakpoints to check where the communication fails, we found that the device is able to initialise and advertise to mobile phones. However as soon as the phone tries to connect, it results in a GATT error. It seems that within the User_Process() function, Set_DeviceConnectable() seems to fail during the hci_send_req() but I am not able to figure out why this occurs. Is there a way to resolve this or am I missing any steps when trying to integrate the software package to the board?Thanks in advance,Jona

Rather informally, in Fig 1, the datasheet of the SPSGRFC module indicates the the module comes with a 50 MHz crystal. However, the SPIRIT1 datasheet clearly states "The allowed clock signal frequency is either 24, 26, 48, or 52 MHz". So, does it indeed come with a 50 MHz crystal or is it really a 52 MHz crystal?

I have a B-L475E-IOT01A board where I am trying to read the Acceleration sensor values from and send them to the PC. I followed this example: file:///C:/Users/nrahardja/Downloads/en.STM32-Education_step4%20(2).pdf. However, the rate at which the data is being sent to my PC is very slow only about 100 values a second, whereas the ODR for the LSM6DL sensor is set to 6670 HZ. My suspicion is that the UART_HAL_TRANSMIT function is too slow compared to the ODR of the sensor. Furthermore, when sending the data once in every 10 lines or so, an extra new line is sent at random (I have attached a picture of this problem).The code was generated using CubeMX and I have added my code below. Good morning,I'm the tech lead of an high school lab who manages the interactive displais of 10 clasrooms.In any class there is a notebook connected via USB to an interacive display (Promethean Activeboard Touch 78) and to a video-projector.In order for the firmware update to be successful, it is necessary that  windows 10 pro 64 bit 21H1 installed will install (when the interactive display is connected and after checking the windows 10 update) the STM DFU update (those are the only two words I remember of the update) I don't know why that update is avalable just on one notebook out of ten.In order to speed up the updating of the firmware for all of the notebooks left I'd like to find where that update is available for downloading so to instal it manually.Thank you.

I try to read the device name of a connected central device from the peripheral once the connection is completeGAP_ConnectionComplete_CB(cc->peer_bdaddr, cc->handle);   uint16_t uuid = 0x2a00; resp = aci_gatt_read_using_charac_uuid(cc->handle, 0x0001, 0xffff, UUID_TYPE_16, (uint8_t*)&uuid);but the response is ERR_INVALID_HCI_CMD_PARAMS. Can someone spot my mistake? It seems that if I do the same thing from the BlueNRG GUI the parameters are valid. Of course I cannot confirm that the GUI really uses aci_gatt_read_using_charac_uuid().Update:What also confuses me is that according to UM1865 the aci_gatt_read_using_charc_uuid function should only return 0x00, 0x42 or 0x46 but not 0x12.

The pins with red boxes are supposed to be OUT pins as indicated on the datasheet. (see picture). However, the actual layout looks like the GROUND pins. I am not sure if i am seeing it right, someone pls help! Thank you.
