I did saw the example from BlueNRG-1_2 DK 3.2.1 Project\BLE_Examples\BLE_Power_Consumption but I am confused on setting registers. Is there any hal library for this?

Hello, I am designing a power bank temperature controller that works by varying the PPS power profile to control a heating element's temperature. I am using an STM32G071RB mcu to handle the PD communication. I know that a PPS RDO is sent from the sink to the source in battery charging applications, but it would be simpler in my application if the source (Power bank with G0 mcu) could vary it's PPS voltage without the sink requesting it. Is this possible to do or must I send an RDO from the sink?The sink is a 100W (20V 5A) heating element with a thermocouple that is relaying its data over the usb 2.0 pins of its usb-c connector. The temperature controller code will be running on the power bank. If PPS can only work when the sink sends an RDO then the power bank will need to send a message to a G0 mcu in the sink with the RDO's that it will then send back to the power bank. This seems redundant as this is not a sink directed charging application. I would instead like to skip this step an

I want to make multiple connections using Blue NRG GUI, I have one STEVAL-IDB006V1, that I would like to connect with 6 devices, but everytime I make one connection I can't make the second one.

Hi,I tried getting the I2C connected by going to STMcube and selecting I2C..then generating code which is attached.I am stll not able to see any I2C connection happening..I also tried using HAL_I2C_IsDeviceReady...but I am getting ret value as 1 which is not HAL_OK...it is HAL_ERROR.Kindly let me know which are the other HAL driver needs to be initaited so as to get the I2C up and also able to read MACID using I2C.Thanks and regardsRavi chandran

OK, I am Sales guy for ST. No will not support you unless you are in Colorado or Utah.I have seen a lot of issues of connecting ST Micro BlueNRG boards to the development software. Took me a while and no help from ST. But below is what worked for me using WIN10.Programming via JTAG and running sample code from Blue Navigator on BlueNRG-2 boards using Win10 and Keil. Keil offers free unlimited IDE for all STMicro M0 and M0+ products. Boards: BlueTile: STEVAL-BCN002V1B; BlueNRG-2: STEVAL-IDB008V2 and STEVAL-IDB009V1 Make sure you have latest release of Blue Navigator: 3.2.1 Make sure all below SW is downloaded below and installed with Administrator Rights. When opening a program, use right click and select run as “Adminstrator�?.Downloads needed and installed with administrator rights. You will need set up account on my.st.com. 1. ST-LINK/V2. We are looking at the dual 4x4 crosspoint switch LVDS RHFLVDS2281 and we have a little urgent question regarding the power consumption of the circuit.In the data sheet following is stated:But we can´t find any figures when the circuit is switching, i.e. operating at a certain frequency or is the maximum frequency dependent current consumption included in the ICCL 67/80mA? Best regardsJonas

Hi,I would like to evaluate the BLUENRG-M2SP module, but I have a question: Does the PCB antenna on this module have a disadvantage over your chip antenna module which is the SPBTLE-RF module? Actually since this is a new design I tend to use already the Bluetooth 5.0 over 4.1 but I have this doubt and the only thing I know is that PCB antennas are more inclined to noise.Thanks for your answer in advance,Andras

Good afternoon,I'm developing a low power radio stack based on SPIRIT1. I encountered a strange behavior in the radio, using the SPIRIT1_Library from ST. I positioned two board within 5cm between each other and using the function "SpiritQiGetRssi" I cannot get more then -20dbm at reception. The module I'm using is SPSGRF-868 (chip antenna version) with 10dbm output power, FSK, 38400 baudrate, 100k channel space, 20k freq dev, 100k bandwidth. I tried with different combination but still the receiving power seems to low to me. I expected at least something near -5dbm. Anyway, moving the modules 50cm apart further drop the receiving RSSI to -79dbm, and after less than 10m the signal reaches -90dbm.Any suggestion or possibly a fix?Regards,Fabio

I am trying to build new firmware for the BlueNRG-2 but am not sure how to configure it as a target. I have looked all over in the documentation and it just mentions that the BlueNRG-2 uses a cortex-M0 processor. I'm assuming it is in the STM32F0 family? I figured there would be support for this device in STM32CubeIDE but haven't been able to find anything promising. I apologize if this seems like a stupid question, but if someone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome!

1. When using the SD interface of stid135 demodulation chip, we found that MCLK output driver is insufficient. We connect the data line of the SD and MCLK directly to the IO of the FPGA, and the FPGA grabs it online, so we can't get it? Can you solve this problem. We looked at the official assessment board, which is also directly connected.2. Is the chip capable of receiving and processing Hughes' system?

I am using BLUENRG-M2 module as a Network Processor (Controller) and an STM32L4 MCU as a host. I want to make the device connectable via Bluetooth during a limited time (e.g 30 seconds) then put the Controller to SLEEP mode (e.g 30 seconds) to save energy. I was looking in the HCI documentation and I couldn't find any command that allow controlling power modes of the controller from the host.My questions are : 1- How can I change power mode of the controller to sleep mode using HCI or ACI interfaces ?2- Is there an other way to save energy for my use case (e.g 30 sec connectable + 30 sec in SLEEP MODE)?Thanks.

The STUSB4700 GUI (STSW-STUSB001 v3.23) requires to be connected to the STM32 Nucleo board + STUSB4700 to be able to start.So if you don’t have a Nucleo board, or if you didn’t wired the I2C interface of STUSB4700 to a Nucleo board, then you cannot use the GUI.In attachment there is a new version of the GUI that can be used offline in standalone mode, i.e. without being connected to any hardware.

I'm currently designing a source solution for PD up to 20V 5A. I have the STEVAL-ISC004V1 board for the STUSB4710 and noticed in the schematic that the feedback ladder is connected directly to the GPIO pins on the STUSB4710. The ISC003V1 board however isolates these through external MOSFETs. My best guess is that this is to do with the abs max voltage rating on the GPIO pins?My final implementation is going to use the 4700 instead, which lists an abs max of 4.5V on the GPIO pins. I wanted to know if I can safely drive the resistor ladder directly from the GPIO pins or if I needed to implement the external MOSFETs too?

I am using bluenrg2 ble- chat example.my requirement is to transfer data through ble and receive back a response data.Is it is possible using BLE-chat example? BLE received data from the mobile app.To transmit data from ble to the APP,what are the changes I have to made?Please help

I'm using the snaphat M4T32-BR12SH6 (battery + crystal) with RTC M41T94.The battery life is short, after less than 1 year, the battery voltage is lower than 2.5 V and the RTC does not work well.And according to the datasheet, the minimum expected life is 10 years!I suspect that the manufacturing date is old, probably manufactured in 2013, but could it still operate for another 3 years or not?

In one of my project I have to connect my bluenrg2 with custom android app.In order to make this which example code I have to refer?I use BLE-chat example but it couldn't pair from the default bluetooth settings.Then I tried with BLE_SENSOR_DEMO_CENTRAL but it showing the 'Device Discovery procedure timeout' .Anybody can help me?
