When reading the temperature from a LSM9DS1, what's the unit that is used ? Cº ?

I've check this on the scope and everything on the I2C bus looks correct, I2Cwrite of 0x0F and then repeated start to read the value. Is there ever a case where it could return 0x33?Cheers

Is it possible to pass the telemetry data from one SensorTile to another to deliver the information from big distance like one kilometer ? As I understand the maximum range for BlueNRG-MS should be about 33 meters.Is it possible to make a chain of them to deliver the information to the mobile phone ?The SensorTile is very small and lightweight. Is it still in production ?

I've downloaded everything in the last week so all the versions should be the latest.I'm trying to build both IKS02A1_DataLogFusion and IKS02A1_Ecompass and having a very similar issue with both. Both projects generate code and compile fine. When I load the code and run it on the board they have the same problem. Specifically with Ecompass the code makes it to the while(1) in main.c then it goesMX_MEMS_Process() MX_ECompass_Process() if(UART_ReceivedMSG...Once it gets to the UART_ReceivedMSG it ends up going to HardFaultHandlerThe same thing happens with the DataLogFusion program. Posted on June 20, 2018 at 17:39I've been beating my head against the wall for the last couple of days trying to figure out why I cannot read registers at odd addresses through the LIS3DSH SPI interface with the nRF52832.  Byte accesses to even addresses work fine, but byte accesses to odd addresses always return the value of the register at the even address one location lower.  16-bit accesses only work when the address is even.  It seems like the LSB of the register address is always read by the LIS3DSH as a zero.Communicating via the I2C bus works fine - bytes, words, even and odd alignment are all OK.So, it looks to me like the LIS3DSH has a bug in the SPI interface.  My best guess is that the last bit of the address is not correctly latched internally by the rising edge of SCL, and must be held static until the next falling edge of SCL (at which time the LIS3DSH starts to drive the data bus).Here's my pr

I have set Low-Power Mode (8 bit) respectively High Performance Mode (12 bit) The others parameters are the same: plus, minus 2g range, sampling rate of 10 Hz, FIFO was enabled. I also used a linear actuator to create a similar motion pattern, back and forth. The scalar vector is calculated as SQRT (X*X+Y*Y+Z*Z) and plotted as shown in the attachement.It is obvious that the signal energy is much greater in 8 bit mode than in 12 bit mode.  Is this "abnormal" behaviour normal? We are hooking up MP34DT05-A (showing SPK mic in the diagram) to GPIO pins of our processor configured for PDM clock and PDM data from the mic. The power supply to this mic is gated by an Enable signal from a GPIO from the same processor. The mic is used infrequently, so we wish to mux the GPIO signals as signals to another component. The other component is enabled/disabled with an explicit Enable signal. When the other component is to be used, we wish to "turn off" the mic. MIC_EN is set low, gating off the power to the mic.Question: When the Mic power supply is off, could the Mic still impact the AUD_CLK and AUD_DATA signals? Hello, I work on a wearable solution with your pressure sensor LPS25HB. I have a problem with the precision of the sensor. Using the LPS25HB adapter board (STEVAL-MK1165V1), I have sufficient precision to detect a high difference of 50cm (I use the biggest precision possible but with only a pressure reading frequency of 1Hz to have a low power system). But when I use the sensor LPS25HBTR placed on my PCB, I don't reach the same performance. The sensor can not detect with good reliability a fall of 50cm ... (of course using the same code) The sensor is used in the same environment and with same vent conditions (not in a case, see PCB3D view attached). Could it be due to PCB design guidelines that are not strictly followed ? For example, I have a trace and a via below the sensor, maybe to big tracks,... In DocID031281, Revision 3 of the datasheet it says 400kHz. IIRC, in an older version it said 1000 kHz.It was my understanding that the VL53L1X and VL53L1 are the same part but the data processing has been moved from the sensor (VL53L1X) to the host (VL53L1). Hi Sir/Mam,For our design which operates at both 1.8VDC and 3.3VDC and we use the sensor with part number LIS2DW12TR. We require the current consumption details for 3.3VDC,in datasheet we found the current consumption values only for 1.8VDC. So please provide current consumption values for 3.3VDC for both at Active state and Sleep state.RegardsVinodh

I have one axis on the LSM6DSO that gives a lot of false positives due to some vibrations on the board. I know there is a way to set the step count and duration thresholds, but is there a way to adjust the sensitivity or motion threshold of just one axis for a constant vibration source?

Hello,I want to install X-CUBE-MEMS1 Driver in STM32 Cube IDE(V 1.5). The pc that I use, has not internet connection. I downloaded X-CUBE-MEMS1 Expansion for STM32Cube offline. There is only version 8.2 on ST website. So I chose that one.I opened Embedded Software Packages Manager window. The last version I can install is vers 7.0 as you see attach file. I continued the installation but I got error. How can I download version 7.0 or older? Or how can I install version 8.2?I will glad for your help. Thank you.

I am designing a movement detector with the chip IIS328DQ (using INT1).For the IIS328DQ registers configuration, I use the driver https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STMems_Standard_C_drivers/tree/master/iis328dq_STdCNOTE: User register configuration was included in original support request, but irrelevant here.I can observe a lot of latency (5...15 seconds) between the move and its detection. But it's not an issue for me.The problem is that sometimes a move isn't detected at all (no interrupt generation on the INT1 pin). My impression is that some movements are better detected than others.Any suggestions what might be wrong?

I'm using LSM9DS1 and MotionFX to get the heading of my device,(also I am using MotionAC, MotionGC, MotionMC to perfome a calibration ), I can get a good result sometimes (usually after a QUICK movement or rotation). But, when it is static or moving slowly , the value of heading_9X hardly changes. What the problem is? How to fix it?

Hi,I am facing some issues related with VL6180x offset calibration (I am not using cover glass, and I have tested many sensors on breakout boards from Adafruit and Pololu).First, with default SYSRANGE__PART_TO_PART_RANGE_OFFSET value, range measurement is 150:350mm instead of 0:100mm. (With target at 160mm I get 10mm from sensor, etc).
