Hi,I am using the LSM6DSOX and ISM330DHCX in FIFO mode at 52 Hz or 208 Hz. For 52 Hz the real frequency turns out to be about 48.57 Hz, and proportionally so for 208 Hz. I am confirming this through the number of samples collected between GPS fixes and when comparing a signal against another type of sensor. The observed frequency is stable at this rate.Could this be real or is there something wrong in my application? The FIFO is checked using an RTC and is never allowed to run full (the overflow, full, overflow_latched) bits are checked. I drain (pop) the number of samples available at the RTC interrupt, but do not reset it. Hello,I'm testing LIS2DE12 accelerometer, trying to communicate with it through I2C. I want to make an interrupt on INT1 when some larger value is present (sensor is being shaken for example). I configured Interrupt to work on Or mode and for starting, just on X high and low events. I want to use internal HP filter, but I do not understand how to configure it, it seems like documentation is a bit short on explaining modes of HP. I will add register info from datasheet. What is the difference between normal mode with reset and without ? Why should I reset HP filter ? Also, what is in 0x26 register (Reference) ? should I

Please refer this thread. I don't think that the sensor can get damaged in such short period of time. Is it possibly due to moisture? At times I get 1018hPa which is even higher than sea level pressure of 1013.5 hPaPls help.

The library of VL53L4CX returns me a fatal error with the message no such file or directory, but the file it refers is in another directory of the same project. The project is just created and the error appears, can it be a bug or some problem with the library? Hi, I have created a machine learning model using STM32Cube IDE and would like to print out the results of the model on the PC using Bluetooth. I am using the SenorTile.box (STEVAL-MKSBOX1V1) with the SPBTLE-1S Bluetooth module.I am currently printing out my results over USB, with the device being shown as a COM port in the PuTTY program. We have a flutter application that is connecting to the ST BLE sensor chip via native bluetooth. We listen to the mems, pressure, accelerometer, and sensor fusion sensors to save to 4 files on the app. The ST SDK was giving us the observed blocking of pressure sensor so we switched to Native bluetooth in hopes it was just an SDK issue, but seeing same issues with bluetooth.When the pressure sensor is being listened to, only audio + pressure data is received. the other 2 sensors have nothing.When disable listening to pressure, the other 2 sensors + audio receive data.We have put breakpoints for where we write data from the 3 sensors, and with pressure sensor not active, we can see the data being saved, but when enabled, it only fires on the pressure sensor write to csv function and the other 2 are never triggered.It appears that the pressure sensor does not allow for interrupts and is operating in a sync mode when it comes to th

by some mistake, we have a large batch of boards with LIS2DS12 sensor and STM32G030F6P6 mcu powered with 3.3 volts. but the maximum voltage for LIS2DS12 is 2.0 volts, and absolute minimum voltage for STM32G030F6P6 is 2.0 volts. so we tried to adjust on board power regulator down to 2.0 volt but we had boot problems with the mcu. so the question is 2.2 volt the absolute maximum of LIS2DS12 is safe for long term working condisitons ? because STM32G0 looks fine with 2.2 volts.also can we run LIS2DS12 with 2.5 volts (0.3 volts over the absolute maximum) i am asking this because we have a test batch and LIS2DS12 chips are working fine with 3.3 volts over weeks without single fault.

when I'm NOT enabling routing the Sleep state/change (setting CTRL5_INT2_PAD_CTRL to 0x00) I'm getting I regular good behavior of the SLEEP_STATE_IA bit (1 and 0 according to the wu cfg) HOWEVER, when I set CTRL5_INT2_PAD_CTRL to 0xC0 or 0x40, the bit: SLEEP_STATE_IA stay constantly on 1,Can you please help me?thanks!

HelloI’m work on a project where it is necessary to detect if unit has moved and/or rotated. The unit (battery powered and wireless) is eg. placed on the floor and needs to be placed with same heading if it is picked up and put back up on floor within heading being +/-5-10 deg and in an upright position. The unit also have a PIR to detect movement in front of the unit. When repositioning and turning it to find the right heading, the unit will make a sound when the heading is found. In the unit is a LIS3DH accelerometer and a LIS2MDL magnetometer.From the accelerometer any movement will detected if the unit has been eg. picked up or pushed etc. When put back the magnetometer is used to find the heading.In test, it returns the correct heading each time, but can it be trusted over time? True north etc is not needed since the heading is set once for this unique placement of the unit – it is more like a relative

Hi MEMS experts,I am using LIS2DW12 to measure the movement with very rough distance.I tested it by measuring the X-axis only, but it seems to be biased to positive direction.I mean, Moving it to the positive direction : it starts having the + acceleration, it's stabilized, and gets - acceleration. : In this case, + acceleration occurred longer and - acceleration occurred less. I used these + / - acceleration to measure the rough distance, and I can see the quite accurate or bigger output than actual movement.Moving it to the negative direction : it starts having the - acceleration, its stabilized, and gets + acceleration. Interestingly, - acceleration occurred less and + acceleration occurred longer. So if the moving distance is short, + acceleration at the stop position take out the - movement as it's too much.In summary,I guess my accelerometer might be too sensitive to positive direction, but less sensitive to negativ

I have the IIS2MDC along with LSM6DSL accel / gyro on a board with stm32L451 uC.Accel / gyro work fine. uC reads status byte then if any axis has new data ready it reads all from temp to accel (0x20-0x2d) in 1 ST hal fn call multi byte read: HAL_I2C_Mem_Read(). IIS2MDC seems to read X-Z fine using same fn that is read X Low to Temp high ( 0x68-0x6F) but the value for 6E-6F is a duplicate of X values (regs 0x68-0x69)I can read 6 bytes Y to temp and still get the X value for the temp. If I read X-Z in 1 fn call then temperature in another call, temp reads ok.I have read each register 0x45 - 0x6f one by one and compared to a read from 0x45-0x6f in 1 bulk read sequence. All matches except temperature or status (if no time for recalc).temp read alone: 0x6e - 0x1b, 0x6f = 0x00 - these make sense.temp read as part of axis or previous reads: 0x6e = 7d 0x6f = 0xff.This is on a board about 75 deg F so 0x001b is ab

I am using lis2dw12 on congnitec board on linux. lis2dw12  is enumerated only as iio device as I do not configure spidev. I have to configure the interrupts 0x3F , CTL_1. How can I set this from sysfs interface ?
