It is recommended that CTRL9_XL DEVICE_CONF in ASM330LHH always set this bit to 1 when configuring the device, but when should it be set back to 0? Should it not be set back?

Hello, I am working on interfacing with a LIS2DW12TR sensor over I2C. I currently am able to read/write registers, and am working on processing the data coming out of the fifo. Hello, I use an AT32F403A MCU to connect LSM6DS3 IMU via SPI 4-wire, then I read the WHO_AM_I register at 0x0F. According to the datasheet, the return value should be 0x69, but the chip returned 0x44. Then I repowered the board, and the value seemed to change to 0x7F. Then I read the Acc and Gyro data. From the logic analyzer, there seem to be some abnormal glitches, which looks like some connection problems, but I checked the wiring and I can't find the problem. Can somebody help me figure out the problem? Thank you.

Hi,I'm trying to use the least possible threshold for IIS2DLPC tap detection.Is it achieved by setting TAP_THSX[4:0] as 00000b or 00001b?I see that 1 LSB corresponds to FS/32. Does 00000b means the threshold is 0g or some fixed value?If the threshold is 0g, then the sensor should not detect any taps, as the acceleration values cannot fall below the threhold value. right?Thanks in advance

I want to do some testing and experimenting with the FSM features of the LSM6DSO. I have MEMS Studio downloaded, and I also downloaded the X-CUBE-MEMS1 expansion software package. I see on the documentation for X-CUBE-MEMS1 that the NUCLEO-L476RG was replaced with the NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q in November 2022. I also found X-CUBE-MEMS1-V4, but on the page, I cannot find a download link. I was wondering if someone could provide me the firmware for my setup, or some guidance on how I can get it working with MEMS Studio, so that I can play around with the FSM on the LSM6DSO.

I am using a ST Sensor tile.box pro with FP-SNS-DATALOG2 function pack, I have already used the Python GUI software with USB connection and ST BLE Sensor app for data logging to save into the microSD card, which works fine. Now , I would like to use python program to start the data logging process and possibly selecting the sensors for logging, for this, I am looking for the UUID related to these, and I can not find from the FP-SNS-DATALOG2 program. Hey ST Community,I'm currently trying out the CCA02M2 MEMS microphone board on a NUCLEO-L476RG, using firmware compiled from X-CUBE-MEMSMIC1.The microphones work, but the signal seems to have some heavy filtering. For example:If I record with Audacity and snap/tap near the mic, I don’t see any response.If I play a frequency sweep from my laptop, it only gets recorded when I’m also speaking, but not if the sweep is played alone.This makes me think there’s a strong filter or noise suppression enabled by default. Where in the firmware should I look to disable these filters? Is it controlled by the PDM2PCM library, or another stage in the middleware?Thanks in advance for any guidance! 

After soldering process, IMU sensor and magnetometer need to do calibration after power on, such as flip axis, 8 shaped pattern, or real-time calibration.For ST sensor such as LSM6DSV and LIS2MDL, I want to know how to confirm whether sensor has been calibrated?Is there any levels to judge the status?  

Hello everyone,I’ve been working with the STHS34PF80 sensor and would appreciate some insights regarding its detection range and field of view (FOV). In my tests, I’ve observed that the sensor detects presence effectively up to a range of about 1 meter when I set the presence threshold to 100 LSB. Additionally, the FOV seems to be around 30 degrees.I’m wondering if these results align with what others have experienced. Is this the typical range and FOV for this sensor under similar conditions, or could there be some optimization or calibration that I’m missing? I am using the STHS34PF80 sensor (SparkFun Presence Sensor - STHS34PF80) with an ESP32 in my ceiling fan to automatically turn the fan ON and OFF based on human presence and motion. However, the sensor is providing continuously varying output values even under the same conditions. How should I properly use this sensor? Does it have a refresh time or delay setting? Please reply as soon as possible.

I need to measure pitch/roll/yaw rotation in quaternions.For my first test, I am using a STEVAL-MKI227KA connected to an Arduino micro, which already allows me to extract the quaternions.I send the data via I²C.My first question is, do you know if the two are compatible?I am using this Arduino library, https://github.com/stm32duino/LSM6DSV16X, to communicate between my Arduino and my devBoard. Hello,I was having fun with the Sensortile.box Pro I bought a month ago. Hello, We are using the ASM330LHH in a design and are seeing extremely large gyro biases (~250 deg/s). I am trying to figure out what may be causing them; here is some information on the experiment. We collect data while spinning our custom boards (with an ASM330LHH mounted on them) at various rates from 0-800 deg/s on a rate table so that we can calibrate the IMUs. Below I have attached two images of the data collected at the same time (using the same software) from two different ASM330LHH units. Note that in this particular collect, the devices are positioned so that the y axis is aligned with the axis of rotation, but these biases stay regardless of the orientation relative to the axis of rotation. Any ideas what could be causing such a large bias? Unit 1 (exactly as I would expect the data to look)

Hi,I’m using the NUCLEO-STM32F401RE with the X-NUCLEO-CCA02M2 board, which has two MP34DT06 PDM microphones. I want to capture stereo audio using I2S2 and convert it to PCM using the PDM2PCM middleware in STM32CubeIDE.In AN5027 (page 18), a timer is used for stereo mode. This confuses me — since I2S2 can generate the clock and receive data, is the timer still needed to capture stereo PDM signals?I’m new to this domain, so any guidance is appreciated.Thanks!

For special test case, that directed connected IIC's SCL(LUX_TILT_SCL) to GND and kept for 5mins, will this action hurt or damage IIS2DLPC?IIC worked with 100kbps.Work with IIC. We found that after this action/error injection:Sometimes, the sensor cannot response with IIC ACK/no response from sensor.Sometimes, the sensor responses with incorrect axis data. 

Hello, I'm looking for a very high precision inclination sensor. I found this IIS2ICLX. I have some questions on the specifications.1) What is the repeatability of the device?2) From the spec sheet, it might seem like the repeatability of the device is 0.075mg but it's unclear. If that is the spec, can you help me in converting this to degrees?3) Are there other devices that have a higher repeatability? Thanks
