i have a maaxboard that is connected (via i2c) to ism330dhcx. Magnetometer LIS3mdl is connected(via i2c) to ism330dhcx as an external sensor.reading magnetometer in power mode = ultra-high mode.data rate = defaultsingle converstion mode we get a nack saying magnetometer is not responding after 2 hours continuous run.changed the power mode = lowe power mode and kept remaining same.now i get MASTER STATUS of ISM330DHCX give NACK after 12 or 15hours of continuous run.this is the schematics..please help.. i need to run it continously.

Hi,Is it possible to modify the amount of values that are written in the FIFO buffer after a trigger event has occurred in continuous-to-FIFO mode? Currently the device collects values in the FIFO buffer in continuous mode until a trigger event happens after which 32 new values are collected in FIFO and collection is stopped. I would like the device to do the same except only collect 16 new values during FIFO mode, keep 16 values from continuous mode and then stop collection. Is this possible by varying some value or is the buffer wiped when the trigger event occurs?Thank you in advance for answers!

Hello,I want to use the LIS3MDL for a project. I am using a microcontroller with I2C lines at 3V3. In the datasheet there is mentioned that the typical voltage for VDDIO is 1V8 but with a range up to VDD +0.1 V. I will power the device (VDD) with 3V3. If I also use 3V3 for the VDDIO will the sensor communicate at 3V3 or 1V8. Thank you in advance

I have had testing the SensorTile.Box and today I was trying to turn it on to continue testing and dosen't work, leds didn't ligth up and the sensortilebox looks broken. I was trying to reset the sensor (plug in and plug off the battery) and press the power bottom but didn't works.Whether someone could help me pls.

Hi,While trying to calibrate the magnetometer, upon successive failures, I noticed that the values that were read for the Y and Z axes are successively repeated until a different value is read (as can be seen below). I can link the MotionMC library in the Nordic project and build it successfully. However, the MotionMC_GetLibVersion function is not assigning the version pointer.

Does the LIS2DE12 have a soft reset ? Data sheet is unclear

I'm currently testing an LSM6DSL Click board in Power-down mode, with both the Accelerometer and Gyroscope in Power-down mode, in order to achieve minimum current consumption.However, I've encountered a problem. When I constantly move the sensor for approximately 1 minute, the current consumption spikes up to around 200uA. On the other hand, when I place the sensor on a flat surface and keep it still, the consumption stabilizes at around 3.9uA, which is consistent with the value provided in the datasheet (3uA).I expected the current consumption of the LSM6DSL to remain the same while in motion as it is when idle. Are there any additional registers that I need to configure apart from CTRL1_XL and CTRL2_G?I would greatly appreciate any assistance!Note: I always reset the LSM6DSL by setting the SW_RESET to "1" via SPI before taking measurements.

Hello, I recently started working with Unico GUI software and I need to do a classification task for soundwaves with already gathered data using the decision tree from the MLC but I would like the classification based on features that can be extracted from the frequency domain (FFT) such as harmonics, spectral slope, pitch, etc. I am working in offline mode and first of all I would also need to compute the FFT of the loaded data but I haven't been able to do this in the Unico software. Is there a way to build the decision tree using features liek these or the only features available are the ones on the MLC (mean, variance, energy, peak to peak, etc.). Does anybody have a solution for this issue?

Hello everyone. I make some project based on MotionMC and MotionEC libs. It's a magnetic compass which will use inside the cars. Within the MotionMC library, the end device functions properly if calibrated according to section 2.2.5 of the UM2192 manual ("figure eight" pattern). My issue is that the compass is firmly fixed inside the car, so it is not possible to calibrate it using the "figure-eight" method :beaming_face_with_smiling_eyes: Is there any alternative calibration method available for the MotionMC library that is suitable for use in a car? For example, rotating the compass in a circle within one plane or manually entering constants? Or is the MotionMC library not suitable for this task, and should I look for an alternative? Regards.

My name is Vincenzo.Taking a look at the two sensors, I started to believe that they are similar in terms of Architecture, more precisely it seems to me that the VL53L1 has expanded the characteristics of the VL53L1X at the expense of a slightly lower maximum ranging distance. Is there a way to move between inactive sample rate and regular sample rate with FSMs enabled?I have configurations written from the host microcontroller to the LSM6DSR in which I can enable or disable double tap and enable or disable the FSM(s) in the configuration. I notice that if I enable double tap but not the FSMs then the sampling moves between low the rate for inactive and the rate for active but if I enable the FSMs at all, then the rate stays at the "active" sampling rate.ODR_XL = 2 (26 Hz)ODR_G = 0 (power-down)INACT_EN = 3 (sets accelerometer ODR to 12.5 Hz (low-power mode), gyro to power-down mode)FSM_ODR = 1 (26 Hz)I'm attaching an example configuration header file, which is a merge of saving FSM config and general config from the unico tool.You can see the sample rate change on a scope (measuring current draw) when the FSM are not enabled. The sample rate never moves from 26 Hz to 12.5 Hz when the FSM is enabled.

I have several lsm303agr that with the accelerometer and the magnetometer in power-down mode consume between 40uA and 20uA while others consume about 2uA as indicated on the datasheet.Even if they have this higher consumption, they perform the self tests correctly.What could this behavior be caused by?In my board Vdd = VddIO = 3V

Hi,We are using LSM6DSO32 Sensor in our device. For our application we need two things(Should be able to operate in low power),1) Free fall detection (if device falls down, interrupt should be generated)2) Motion detection (if device is in motion/at rest, interrupt should be generated) Current Register setting for Fall detection(Low power) is CTRL1_XL,0x30, CTRL2_G,0x34, CTRL7_G,0x80, WAKE_UP_DUR,0x00, FREE_FALL,0x02, MD1_CFG,0x10, MD2_CFG,0x00, TAP_CFG0,0x01, TAP_CFG2,0x80, CTRL6_C,0x10 We tried Motion Detection as per the Application note (AN5473) configuration,But could not get any interrupts generated. What should be the register setting to get both free fall detection and motion detection in low power conditions.?

Hello everyone,I need help regarding LIS3MDL magnetic sensor aka compass issue is i am using this sensoron my custom made gps pcb which is then used by my quadcopter the issue is that it works fine at the very start but after few usage when i connect my drone multiple times it just go dead my quadcopter start to say bad compass health and as soon as i replace the LIS3MDLit again goes back to normal and this is repetitive i have 15 drones and it's happening to all of thembefore this i had used HMC5883 compass never faced any problem but LIS3MDL seems to having some issue i am also attaching the schematic of my compass PLEASE ANY HELP OR ANY INSIGHT WILL BE HELPFUL I AM STUCK HERE FOR MONTHS NOW

Hi,I'm trying to get the LIS2HH12 accelerometer to work via SPI. The message I'm sending seems correct to me, and all the timings are within the minimum and maximum specifications that I have found in the datasheet. I have tried multiple SPI configurations without much luck. Below is what I get on the my logic analyzer.I have managed to talk to this exact chip on this board via I2C via bodge wires. The SPI driver I'm using is part of TI-RTOS.

I have tried many things to get my pc to recognize the serial port of my sensortilebox, i have windows 10, so i shouldnt have this problems. Some know how to fix it?
