ST25 NFC/RFID tags and readers

Using ST25RU3993, I was able to get only the On-chip RSSI value and EPC,PC values.Is reading the temperature sensor value, implemented in the SDK? If NO, How can i implement it??The temperature Sensor which I am using is "RFM3200-AFR"(Gen2 compatible).

Hello ST,We are working with the ST25RU3993 and have purchased the ST25RU3993-HPEV board to evaluate the RFID chip.Now, we want to drive the ST25RU3993 via SPI with a different MCU. We have read previous posts explaining how to disable the STM32 MCU without removing it but those recommandations apply to the EVAL board:"1. Remove R7, R8, R9, R11 (NCS, CLK, MISO, MOSI) and R12, R13 (IRQ, EN) and connect on the pin-header your SPI and GPIOs2. Remove R61 on the board short circuit C25. This reduce power consumption by putting the STM32L4 into shutdown3. Remove R38, R39 and R40. This will allow you to use the carrier cancellation from your MCU. Use the ETC_3, ETC_2 and ETC_1 pins on the board4. The ST25RU3993 EVAL board has a RF switch to switch between the internal and a external PA. To drive this from your MCU you need to controll PA_SW_V1 and PA_SW_V2 lines. The easiest way to do this is to solder wires to the STM32L4 MCU pin 25 (PA_SW_V1) and pin26 (PA_SW_V2) and controll the switc

I have 2 device that have on independent st25dv NFC chips and also st32 mcu.I wonder that 2 devices can communicate each other without any physical connection ?For example i want one device is act like mobile phone. is it possible ?

Dear Sir/Madam,I am using the capacitive sensor of the ST25R3916 to "wake-up" the system when a user inserts its tagRFID in the equipment. While the tag is in, the equipment distributes a liquid uninterruptedly and stops when the tag is removed when I want to debit the consumed credit of the tag according to the volume delivered. My doubt is if it possible to use the same sensor to identify that the tagRFID started to be removed? Is there a way to generate an Interrupt for wake-up and another to detect that a tag is being removed due to the ∆cm (capacitance variation)?Many thanks for your support.

Dear community,for my project it is necessary to write a text on a ST25TA NFC tag and lock it afterwards permanently.For this I use the ST25 NFC Tap app (Android & iOS), but the interface is hard to understand without any guides.Is there an expert or a manual which can show me how to lock this NFC tag with the app permanently, so that NDEF text can be read by anyone and the NFC tag can't be manipulated?When I choose option: "Write lock permanently" (Screenshot 2), a pop-up wants me to enter a password in hex (Screenshot 1). If I do nothing and just press "OK" the NFC tag seems to be locked. I am safe with this way, so that the message can't be changed or the tag influenced by others?Best regardsDavid

I didn’t find a similar scenario, so here is mine:One chip is a ST25DV04KThe other chip is another Memory-EEPROMBoth have the same device identifier, but different bits in the chip enable address => AFAIK this should be possible, correct me if I’m in the wrong here I’m using an Android app for NFC communication. The mailbox in the ST25DV04K is used to exchange chunks of data in both directions.Since RF and I2C is not supported at the same time, delays/timeslots are added to avoid access the ST25DV04K at the same time. I was investigating NFC functionality on STEVAL-SMARTAG1 board, and something went wrong. Most likely I mistyped a symbol while writing one of the registers using NFC Tap iOS app. The tag is no longer recognizable by the app, see the screenshot attached. I could not find any firmware to restore the tag. Is there a way to restore it?

There is a difference between the protocol description in the AN5512 and the embedded library package (STSW-ST25R-LIB). This seems to concern encrypted transmission.ST25FTM_SEND_WITH_ENCRYPTION is not defined in STSW-ST25R-LIB.Bit 0 in ST25FTM control byte differs from the code in STSW-ST25R-LIB.Is 1.3.0 the latest STSW-ST25R-LIB version or is there a newer one?

How can i write/read via Fast Transfer Mode using st25dv app for my special designed board that have st25dv64k ic ?I have a special board that have st25dv64k ic and also i use st25dv mobile application . i can implement whole commands using st25dv app and my board but i can't find how can i read/write via FTM buffer using st25dv app. I can read/write only EEPROM area in chip using mobile app.

Hello,I use CR95HF to read 14443A RFID tags, I designed a firmware based on STSW-STM32006 software and everything works well.Now I need to read 14443B RFID tags, but I can not find any function like ISO14443B_GetUID to read B UID. There is only the function ISO14443B_IsPresent, to detect TAG, but nothing to get the UID. How can I read 14443B UID ?Thanks for your help :)Thomas

Hello Community,I am new in the topic of nfc and programming of nucleo boards.So, the questions can seem to be very stubid ;)For a project I try to bring up a X-Nucleo-NFC06A1 on top of a Nucleo -F446RE.On web (ST,...) I found code examples for different nucleo boards.If I import the supported examplary projects into the Cube IDE, everything works quite well...but with the wrong Nucleo board.I can't find any guidline to bring up the NFC extension board with the F446RE.And also the NFC06A1 cannot be imported via Devcie config Tool (software packets).So my (stupid) questions:Is there a guidline / video / ... available which describes the steps to port the existing examples to the f446reWhat files of the Middleware/Driver should be included to get the NFC06A1 running in from a default F446RE projectHow should the f446re be configured (SPI,...)Thanks for every helpfull comment,Sebastian

I am trying to use the ST25R3916DiscoComm.lib/.h/.dll in a QT project that were installed as a part of ST25R3916DiscoComm GUI application. I am able to use all these 3 files from within QT Creator (meaning that my program works well when launched from QT Creator with the release target, MSVC 2019 32-bit). However when I deploy the program I am getting an error indicating that Qt5SerialPortd.dll is missing. The emphasis here is the 'd' following Qt5SerialPort. I suspect that the *.lib supplied was built for a debug target (?). I am not sure what the problem is here. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi,I was wondering if any of you have tried connecting the ST25R3911B to an external 50 ohm antenna via coaxial cable. My understanding is that this chip has a 50 ohm output and connecting an external antenna is possible although you lose the automatic tuning feature. I'm struggling to work out how the circuit would work in differential mode if you need to use 4 pins on the chip but the coaxial cable has only 2 connections. Are there any schematics somewhere that we could use as a reference when a connection to an external antenna is needed? Thanks

Hello, I'm playing nfc on the ST25R3916 board.​Currently, Tag is ISO/IEC 15693 and Firmware uses STSW-ST25R011.​Write works well, but sometimes "time out errors" occur in the Read, GetSystem Information command, which requires response data. Hi there,We are working with the ST245RU3993 and have the EVAL board working correctly with the provided GUI.We now want to control the ST25RU3993 via SPI with a ARM MCU. This ARM MCU will operate independently, as sketched in "Device side usage" in the STUHFL User Manual (see attached file).Is there any guideline to follow on how to achieve this setup? Hi,We have an ST25DV04K NFC tag which is being used to communicate to a host microcontroller from a mobile app and we're having trouble with FTM after booting up the host device from the app.We're starting up the host from this app by pulsing the GPO line. Unfortunately, the maximum interrupt time is too short so we're generating a pulse with the Manage GPO command; set, wait 1ms, reset. This works great.Once the device boots up, it then configures the tag to disallow RF from controlling the GPO with the Manage GPO command (by setting RF_USER_EN to 0 in GPO register).Then, we need to send some data to the host via FTM. So we enable the mailbox and write our data. On the host side, we see the interrupt, check the IT_STS_Dyn register for RF_PUT_MSG, then read the data, calculate the CRC, then write that back to the mailbox.This is where there's an issue. The mobile app is now polling the MB_CTRL_Dyn register for HOST_PUT_MSG. However, that never happens. Even stranger, if we move the pho
