STM32 MCUs TouchGFX and GUI

HiI wish to display two variables on a line graph.I create the graph in the TouchGFX deigner with Line1 and Line 2.However I cannot work out how to set add points to the graph.I used the method:/**************************************************************/ void Screen1View::handleTickEvent() { tickCounter++;   // Insert each second tick if (tickCounter % 3 == 0) { float yMax = graph1.getGraphRangeYMaxAsFloat();   // Insert "random" points along a sine wave graph1.addDataPoint((int)(Detector_Y.NormOp * 50 + 50)); } }In my Screen1View.cpp file, but it adds the same point to both lines.There doesn't seem to be a method that adds points to the graph elements.How do I do this?Do I need two seperate graph widgets overlayed?Best regardsRob

Hi all.  I am looking for the correct method with which to implement a custom scroll wheel display.  By default the display of numeric characters starts at '0' and increments by a single digit ad infinitum.  For example and if possible, I would want to display the values 400 -> 1100 incrementing in steps of 100 however, I see no easy method within TouchGFX to be able to achieve this.  I may be missing something, I usually do.  If this is possible from within TGFX, can someone please advise how to manage this.  If not, then please advise an alternative user code method or function to achieve it.   Your help is much appreciated.    

Hello,I am using a custom board with the STM32L452RET. On this board:SPI1 is connected to an IIS3DWB accelerometer,SPI2 is connected to a 240x280 TFT display with an ST7789 controller and TouchGFX,SPI3 is used with FatFs to access an SD card, following this tutorial: https://controllerstech.com/sd-card-using-spi-in-stm32/,USB CDC is used for communication.After adding FatFs, the wildcards with float values that should be displayed on the screen only show characters from 5 to 9. Characters from 0 to 4 appear as black blocks. I modified the text settings in TouchGFX in various ways. The only configuration that showed some results was changing the BPP in the typography from 4 to 8.The images show the result with and without FatFs running.I appreciate any help.

Hi,I was trying to use TouchGFX for the RVA35HI display with the U575ZI-Q development board. In the product website it does say that there will be a demo project for the same. I am using TouchGFX Designer version 4.24.1 and am unable to find it.It would be of great help if I was given some information regarding the demo code or guided towards how I can actually design a GUI using TouchGFX for the above mentioned configuration. Hi, I noticed the grouping texts feature in the TouchGFX designer, and checked out the documentation to see what it did, but still had some questions.https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/ui-development/designer-user-guide/texts-view#:~:text=Groups%20can%20have%20text%20added,add%20button%20in%20tree%20view.This is the documentation I viewed/.What is the benefit of grouping texts, other than organization? 

Hi, I know this is a bit of an off question. Is it possible to add a language dynamically? Without filling out the dictionary in the TouchGFX application? 

How to change the alignment of textarea from the default style set in touchgfx designer? In touchgfx designer(Version:4.21.3) I have set to Left alignment. I use this textarea for multiple purposes, for few I need to set to Left alignment and for few I need to set to Right alignment. I tried using ' textArea.setTextAlignment(TEXT_ALIGNMENT_RIGHT);'  but it says set alignment is not a member. 

 BKPT will be inserted with arm compiler 6.22 .The program does not automatically run down.

Hi I am using the TouchGFX keyboard to input data into fields on a number of settings screens. Since the screens are small, I cannot afford the option of Cancel and Enter buttons as used in the demo. Instead I have added 2 buttons to the keyboard for Enter and Cancel. The former leaves the buffer intact, while the latter clears it before returning. However, the function that contains the keyboard container continues executing while the keyboard is in use. The result is that the data is never entered into the field. One workaround I have used is to add an 'Add/Edit' flex button  that loads the keyboard and writes the returned buffer to the model. Flex buttons over the data fields, that are made visible at the time the keyboard container is loaded, then cause the screen to reload, which then draws and displays the data from the model. It works, but it is too clunky.I have tried using a while loop to pause while the keyboard is visible, but this does nothing.Has anyone any

Hello Everyone,I am a beginner with STM32 (student).In TouchGFX 4.24.1 Designer, I created a simple project (two buttons and a bitmap).Then, I launch this project in STM32CubeIDE and initialize SDMMC1 and FatFS according to the AN5200 - Getting started with STM32H7 MCUs SDMMC guide. Unfortunately, I get errors, probably related to memory.When I create a project without FreeRTOS and TouchGFX, only basic handling of SDMMC1 and FatFS, everything works fine.Perhaps someone is able to help me with the correct configuration of TouchGFX + FreeRTOS + SDMMC1 on STM32H747I-DISCO or could share a working application? Thank you in advance for all the suggestions.  I have added the project as an attachment.

Hello, I just bought a STM32H750B-DK and when i tried to flash a sample application from TouchGFX, i got a white screen and the usb programming is not working anymore. I connected via External PowerSupply and STLINK and i can see the board and flash from the TouchGFX. But i get an error about erasing the memory segments.Tried to reflash via CubeProgrammer with the hex and although i see something in the RAM about TouchGFX, the screen is still white.Any help is highly appreciated.

I have a fully working touchgfx project in the stm32f746g-dk. So far I always edit this project by just opening the touchgfx designer. Now, I need to config this project to run on the stm32u5g9j-dk2, how can I do it? I would like to avoid coping the GUI folder from one project to the other, but I haven't found any specific documentation about it on the touchgfx tutorials.   

# Overview I have a TouchGFX GUI project based on STM32U5G9-DK2 evaluation kit.  I initially generated the project in `TouchGFX Designer 4.23.2`.Upon switching to `STM32CubeIDE 1.15.1` for development, it seems like the "Right Click -> Build Project" step runs two builds (?).The first build usually shows some errors with include files in the Console:At this point the progress bar shows ~25%.The above Console errors are quickly overwritten by the second "build" which works OK: # QuestionsHow I can remove the first "intermittent" build from this flow?  It seems like a waste of time (10-20 seconds) and is confusing that it shows errors when there are none.

Hi,I am using STM32H7S78-DK Board, as size of the internal Flash and Internal Ram memories are very less, I have added external flash memory and the address in the linker file of the Application mode. I also enabled XSPI2 and External Memory Manager (STM32CubeMX) in the Boot Mode. And LTDC, Touchgfx in the Application Mode. And the data that I am storing in the Linker file was fine (By adding the segments in the linker files, the data overflowed errors were cleared). But the issue is that the debug is not successful.I'm attaching the project which I've done and also the screenshot of the Debug error which I was getting while debugging. Please kindly go through the linker files in the Boot and Application Modes and also the Initialisation part of the peripherals. And please guide me what changes needs to do to store my images that I've taken in the Touchgfx Designer in the external flash and to display the image in the STM32H7S78-DK.Thank you...

Hi,one of the most comfortable functions of the simulator is the possibility to create screenshots. We heavily make use of this for our operation manuals.The point is: Now we have 24 languages and even consider to add some more. This means we have to navigate to main menu to change the language, then navigate to the requested screen, open windows, do scrolling etc., take a  screenshot and repeat. It is an exhausting procedure to create every picture in every language.A litte script would be perfect:for(i=0; i<MAX_LANGUAGE; i++){   setLanguage(i);   MakeScreenshot();}Okay, it sounds easy and maybe it is not. Nevertheless, for me it would be sufficient to change the language with keyboard shortcuts (maybe page up/down). Hi All, Is there a way to avoid repeated images in animation? To be more specific lets say I have animation to be created with 6 .png images and lets say my first 2 images and last 2 images are  the same...Is there a way to reuse the same images (1.png and 2.png ) instead of repeating the copy of the images ?As of now I'm simply naming the images as 1.png 2.png 3.png 4.png 5.png(copy of 2.png) and 6.png(copy of 1.png).   Can I eliminate the 5 and 6 and reuse 1 and 2?How can I make it more efficient?   Thanks & Regards,

  Hello,   I am working on STM32F426 with TouchGFX. However, after I upgrade STM32CUBEIDE and TouchGFX to latest version, I got a hard fault error. In the stack information, it shows the hard fault happens after touchgfx::muldivu() called.     And in the fault analyzer, the fault is to attempt to perform a division by zero.     May I know if there is any way to solve it?  Hi everyone,I’m experiencing some frustrating issues while trying to generate code for a blank project using TouchGFX with the STM32H757XIHX dual-core.When I attempt to generate the code, I receive an error indicating that it cannot locate the .cproject file. I’ve generated this project using the IDE, which I really hate; Although TouchGFX supposedly supports Makefile as a toolchain, when I try to generate the code with Makefile, it throws an error stating that the toolchain is not accepted.This leaves me with no option but to rely on the IDE, which generates a folder structure where the .cproject is located within the CM7 subproject. It seems that TouchGFX is looking for the .cproject in the root directory, where it’s not present.Can anyone guide me on how to change the path or resolve this issue? I would really appreciate any help!Although, if someone knows how to use TOUCHGFX with the Makefile as a toolchain (selected option in cubeMX instead of IDE), please let me know!! I do

I have an STM32H745 custom board project. I use LTDC dispaly , DMA2D and CRC. not yet implemented touch sensor. I would like to just show a logo(image on my 480*480 display). I am generating code form cubemx(v6.12.1) added xcubetouchgfx(4.24.1). I have generated code no under root. I opened .part file made a simple UI with a box and text and generated code. now if i compile the project, there are few fatal errors. it says no such directory or file. I try to manually add it still issue persist. I added include paths as mentioned in this document https://support.touchgfx.com/docs/development/ui-development/working-with-touchgfx/using-ides-with-touchgfx but no use. I am not using os and it is a dual core MCU.  Any help to fix the issue is highly appreciated.
