STM32 MPUs

Hello, I am trying to boot a Hi-Speed USB Device application using the STM32MP135F-DK by loading it from an SD card to DDR3, but it is not working. To investigate the issue, I am trying to boot CDC_Standalone that is included in STM32Cube_FW_MP13_V1.1.0 by loading it from an SD card to DDR3, but it is not going well too. I am following the procedure as below.Change the linker script of CDC_Standalone to use DDR_BASE as attached "stm32mp13xx_a7_ddr.ld.txt" and define USE_DDR.Reference: Build application for DDRChange CDC_Standalone to sign the application via postbuild steps and scripts.Reference: Create signed application.Create a loader for the signed CDC_Standalone based on SD_Ext_Loader in STM32Cube_FW_MP13_V1.1.0.Write the application to an SD card via UART interface by using STM32CubeProgrammer and try to boot it.Reference: How_to_load_and_start_STM32CubeMP13_applications_via_microSD_cardAfter following the procedure, the blue LED lights up momentaril

Hello,Would it be possible to have an updated guide on how to use a custom device tree within my own layer for STM32MP1 Ecosystem 5.1.0?The one provided here  "How to compile the device tree with the Distribution package" is clearly outdated, as the Yocto delivery mentionned in the exemple is Kirkstone (should be now Mickledore) and the step : Replace STM32MP_MX_BASE by STM32MP_MY_DEMO_BASEIs impossible to do, as the variable STM32MP_MX_BASE does not exist in 5.1.0 machine configurations.In the meanwhile, any ideas of how to implement this solution for release 5.1.0? I'm currently using this solution "How to create your own machine" in the wiki, but that is not the way I would like to work in the long term.

Hi,I wrote a program to toggle GPIO PD13 on the STM32MP157D-DK1 using STM32CubeIDE. I set the Boot pins on the STM32MP157D-DK1 board to Engineering mode and can start a debug session but it seems like the M4 does not toggle GPIO PD13 at all. Its like its not starting or working.Below is a snippet of my code:                              Please assist me with this issue?

Hello, I enabled the generation of  debug filesystem by adding two variables in file build-openstlinuxweston-stm32mp15-disco/conf/local.conf as shown below to use with GDB. This step is  also mentioned in Yocto documentation (Link: https://docs.yoctoproject.org/dev/dev-manual/debugging.html#using-the-gdbserver-method ).  IMAGE_GEN_DEBUGFS = "1" IMAGE_FSTYPES_DEBUGFS = "tar.bz2" When this option is enabled I get below dependency(?) error, Does anyone know how to fix this?Additional information:Target HW : STM32MP157F-DK2Target image : st-image-westonThanks,  

Hello, I have stm32mp135f-DK board also gc2145 camera which works perfectly finebut when ı connect Raspberry pi camera module v2it does not appear with  v4l2-ctl --list-devices So I wonder is it possible to use that camera with modifying linux kernel device tree etc or is it's just impossible ?

I have tried to build my own OpenSTLinux by using the SDK and the sources, without sucess. I have been trying to compile for 2 weeks from now and I'm not very pleased over the wiki of ST32MP.Anyway. I have to show a bug. I cannot build an OpenSTLinux Project inside STM32CubeIDE.I first created a project for my STM32MP1 processor, then I tried to attach the SDK with the STM32CubeIDE. But it did not work well.I have STM32CubeIDE 1.16.0 and Lubuntu 22.04 and the latest SDK. So what I'm looking for, is some way to compile the kernel, TF-A, Optee and U-boot with STM32CubeIDE. If it's possible. Hello,Is it possible to drive two independent LCD screens from one e.g. STM32MP157? I know it has LTDC controller and also is having MIPI® DSI but I was wondering if it can run them together (no overlapping pins)?I want  to make a product that will have one display (non touch), maybe for video output 720p - non touch; and one smaller screen 480p with touch to serve as digital buttons.

I have made my own STM32MP1 board with the STM32MP151AAC3 processor. Right now I'm faceing issues with the software STM32CubeProgrammer and I don't know why this happens.My goal is to flash the eMMC via the UBS OTG. I have SDIO2 as eMMC by the way.What we can see here is that:The STM32CubeProgrammer regonize the STM32MP1 processor and its nameThe USB OTG of the STM32MP1 processor is workingI'm using the OpenSTLinux for STM32MP157 processor because it's the only one that are avaiable as Starter Package . Hi,We are using the STM32MP157CAA3 SoC in our design and are having some Ethernet issues:As we had problems sourcing the Realtek PHY from the reference design we use the microchip LAN8830T-V/PSA Ethernet PHY which should support Gigabit Ethernet.When setting booting the device and connecting an Ethernet cable we observe the following issue:1. With 10 MBit or router, the device probes and from both U-boot and Linux we can do dhcp request. But we never get an answer (no IP etc). 2. With 100 MBit or 1000 MBit speed, the linux kernel throws a panic after some time related to DMA (sometimes also the probing fails for the DMA engine).Both paths never show any data coming through the Ethernet port:  (DCHP requests seem to be unanswered (don't arrive on server side) and ping also doesn't arrive. Hello,I am trying to do bare metal development, and the ETH uses the RGMII interface and the lwIP protocol stack. The routines I have found are mostly for M4 or M7, and the interfaces are all RMII. I tried to port lwIP from the STM32H7, but it's doesn't work. the hardware is right because the network is working when tested on the development board with Linux

I am using OSTL 4.1.1 and build DISTRO=openstlinux-weston MACHINE=stm32mp15-disco. I am using STM32MP157F-DK2. Found that rpmsg_tty build as dyanamic module. I have loaded rpmsg_tty.ko with modprobe but found that node entries are not getting created in /dev 

I have built my own STM32MP15XXAC board from scratch DanielMartensson/STM32-Computer: STM32 Computer were Linux can be deployed onto (github.com)Instead of SD-card, it has eMMC. Now I want to flash the eMMC with OpenSTLinux. How can I do that with STM32CubeProgrammer?I find lack of information how to install Linux or other kind of Linux-OS onto eMMC for STM32MP15XXAC.  

The power supply part of the board I made myself did not use "stpmic", but used a discrete power supply. I encountered an issue when porting OpenSTLinux (5.1.0). I am using Baremetal.On my custom board, I successfully loaded the driver for the OTG USB device as a printer. When it succeeded, the code size was small, so I worked on it as a test in the SYSRAM base without any issues (I did not use USBX).However, as the code size increased, I needed to use DDR RAM. I am using the latest OpenSTLinx (5.1.0) Linux version: 6.1.28, and it can display normally when using the official root file system (st-image-eston-openstrinux-eston-stm32mp1. ext4), as shown in the figure below. However, when I use the root file system generated by buildroot myself, it cannot display normally, and there is no output on the screen when using "echo test_ceool>/dev/tty1". Some example screens running qt5 also have no output. Is there anything to pay attention to when building a root file system using buildroot?
