I'm trying to connect the MP157c-DK2 board in Engineering board. The st link is connected on the CN11 connector.On the st link utility it says detection failed and does not recognize the device.

I would like to confirm that it is possible to program PKH(Public Key Hash) using STM32_Programmer_CLI.The PKH is stored in OTP WORD 24 to 31For example: Set the value 0x9ffd3d2f into the word 24 (0x18) [pkh0]STM32_Programmer_CLI -c port=usb1 -otp program wordID=0x18 value=0x9ffd3d2fIs this right?Is there a specific command to close the device from STM32_Programmer_CLI?Thanks!

As a test I connected via Putty to the device and managed to login successfully. In my case it's COM17 named "Serielles USB-Gerät" in the hardware manager.The debug Configuration Window also does not allow to press "Debug" although I can access and login to the IP which is set there in the connection segment.Did anyone mange to debug the M4 Core tru Linux in a Win 10 environment?RegardsChristian

I am on windows 10 and would like to use sub-system for linux (WSL) to cross-compile OpenST. So far i made it trough all the steps...until i saw that the cubeprogrammer is using a GUI installer...witch doesnt work on WSL....Are there plans to make that cubeprogrammer available in "non gui" installer?Thanks

We have a custom board using the STM32MP157C chip and we are having a problem with the USB programming via the CubeMXProgrammer. Our system is working and we have a tf-a.stm32 binary image, a functional u-boot.st32 image and a working rootfs Linux system. According to wiki article https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/STM32MP15_Discovery_kits_-_Starter_Package#Image_flashing it takes "several minutes" to flash partitions.Flashing bitbake optenstlinux 2.0 (distribution package) or starter image to SDCard of my STM32MP157c-DK2 board takes several hours (~4h)! Is this normal?

I'm trying to make FreeRTOS application which is involving ADC and sending messages via virtual UART to Cortex A7. So I began with example called OpenAMP_FreeRTOS_echo in the cube fw version 1.2.0. That example worked good. I saw echo on /dev/ttyRPMSG0. Then I tried to incorporate ADC into that code but without success (I made succes with ADC + virtual UART without using FreeRTOS, but I want to make FreeRTOS working). I have been using the Starter-Package v1.2.0 with no problem. But I cannot flash the SD Card with the new v2.0.0 Starter-Package. We have a STM32MP1 system with no flash media.How do I push a TF-A/uboot image to DRAM and boot/run from DRAM withno MMC/flash media ?

Already I can connect to STM32mp157C-dk2 by USB of DFU using STM32cubeprog. But I can't connect to STM32MP1157C-DK2 by SWD using STM32cubeprog. Is it possible or not? I always thank you for answer.

Hi everyone,I am trying to program CM4 proc using STM32CubeIDE (on Windows), i was following this tutorial:https://wiki.st.com/stm32mpu/wiki/Getting_started/STM32MP1_boards/STM32MP157C-DK2/Develop_on_Arm%C2%AE_Cortex%C2%AE-M4/Modify,_rebuild_and_reload_a_firmwareI am stuck at 6th part (connected board with usb to ST-link port), status widget at the right bottom says that connection state is "Idle" and cant find board IP, so i can't use debbuging thru linux core (entering board address from usb interface does't work as well).Serial console works but im not quite sure how to close it, it seems to reopen in background and when it is status says "console in use"This problem seems extremely simple and i am almost sure that i am missing sth obvious but i wasted lot of time and i cant figure it out.I'd really appreciate if sb help

Hello,I have started to use the OPENAMP framework, especially with the CubeMX generated file openamp.h to communicate between the A7 and M4.The example DK2_TIMER1_OpenAmp_Solution works fine, but unfortunately the CubeMX generates all the initialization of the OPENAMP framework in the main.c . Equivalent to the DK2_Timer1 example is also the following example on github:https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STM32CubeMP1/tree/master/Projects/STM32MP157C-DK2/Applications/OpenAMP/OpenAMP_TTY_echo )Within my project, I would like to move the OPENAMP stuff into a separate c-file. However, when doing this I experienced a re-initialization of the rpmsg_virtio_device *rvdev e.g. rpmsg_endpoint ept. This resulted into a linux kernel crash on the A7 when too many endpoints are created ...Even though, as I can see in the directory structure, the fileMiddlewares/Third_Party/OpenAMP/virtual_driver/virt_uart.hdoes include the "openamp.h" and respectively uses functions from this CubeMX generated file

  Hi all I have St-link v2 and I am facing a problem for debugging Cortex M in stm32mp157-ev1. I think it is because of the differences between HW Vesion and FW in keil document and my results.     In attachment image is mentioned stlink v2-1. Shall i use Stlink V2 instead of V2-1? How do I change my version of the Stlink from V2 to V2-1? Best regards
