Automotive MCUs

I have an eMoticom eM007 ECU on a motorcycle which has been developed from the SPC5-L9177A-K02 dev kit. I wish to connect to the ECU to download the bin file so I can learn to tune it. The ECU has a canbus connector with 4 pins +12v, Gnd, CAN-H, and CAN-L. I have purchased the ST-Link-V3MODS board with the view of using the bridge CAN interface to connect to the ECU. How should this be connected as the Bridge CAN only has logic signals Rx/Tx using pins 9 and 10 on CN2. Any help will be appreciated as I don't want to brick the ECU on connection.Will I be able to use the STM32CubeProgrammer to download the bin file from the ECU and re-flash it once the edits to the tune have been done. Also will it be possible to write on the fly.

Hi, I followed the instruction in AN5171 to integrate windriver into the SPC5Studio DE. When compiling an existing sample project for the SPC574K-DISCOVERY (SPC574Kxx_RLA PWM Test Application for Discovery) with the windriver diab compiler, it will throw a lot of errors. 1. Once the windriver plugin setup is correctly done, should all the autogenerated mcal code be directly compilable with diab, or is that not supported?2. What must be done to configure SPC5Studio to generate diab compatible c-code? Best regardsNorbert

hello~ I am using the spc58ec disp chip and want to continuously send CAN messages of different cycles. I am using the SPC58 MCU product with the TRACE32 debugger. When changing the Life Cycle from "customer_delivery" to "in_field" with the trace32 script, debugging is only possible by entering the keycode. What should I do if I want to change the Life Cycle back to "customer_delivery"?

I have tried to integrated imported examples in spc5 studio. I unbaled to done . Is there any setting you can help me..!!. I have used stm32cube IDE for stm32 series microcontrollers, it is very flexible and easy . Right now i am using spc570sxx series controller, and IDE is SPC5 studio IDE. Hello, I would like to know how to configure Clock with SPC570S50E1, using internal RC oscillator.I would like to have maximum clock for each components. Currently, I succeed to set maximum system clock, but for ADC it is 1.6MHz while maximum is 12MHz.How to accelerate ADC clock?

For this I am looking for Flashing tool and Debugger with software.While searching for flashing tool and Debugger with software, I came across “SPC5-UDESTK USB/JTAG adapter” and  “SPC5-UDEDEBG for a perpetual, full-feature, unlimited code-size license”. Hello, I am currently using SPC58EC80 with SPC5Studio.I have some problem to load the data located in ROM area to RAM area when boot. I am using " > CAL_RAM AT > CAL_ROM" command for loading the data from 0x013A0000 to 0x400B0000.I check the RAM area after booting the SPC58EC80 but no data are loaded from 0x400B0000. If anyone try to success to load the data when booting with link scrpit, please guide me.I also write down rom.c contents at the end. Here is contents of link script and its name is user.ld. Hi there,after installing SPC5Studio v6.0 and opening some sample projects (even an empty one) for SPC582Bx mcu, I found no way to alter compiler and linker options.In eclipse-based IDE (like SPC5Studio) this is normally accomplished opening the project Properties, under C/C++ Build/Settings. Please note that sample projects generate and build fine; I have no board to try UDE debugging but this is outside the scope of the current question. Is there some other way to change compiler and linker flags? Thanks for the support,FP

Hello All, we are using the SPC582Bxx family device for our automotive system, We have gone through the guides related to SPC582Bxx, Auto devkit studio and ran some sample code by referring the tutorial available from ST team. since I am new to this family, I would like to know about can configuration in detail. We are working on device using CAN protocol for communication, we would like to transmit and receive the CAN data from one device to another (SPC5). Based on the received data we would control the audio. Can anyone help us to how to enable, Initialize and configure the CAN protocol for SPC582Bxx family.
