GNSS positioning

Hi,How does one set the max fix rate of the Teseo Liv3f GPS to a floating point number? The UM2229 documentation mentioned the parameter value must be expressed in hexadecimal format for any integer value and decimal for any not integer value. Hi,Lately we have been studying the $PSTMTTFF message described in the ST Teseo III binary image - User manual (UM2399 Rev 4). We can see the output message from a Teseo III module (shown as below), however we cannot find relevant material regarding the message field descriptions. Hello,I don't understand whether it is possible or not to enable NMEA 4.10 messages on the X-NUCLEO-GNSS1A1 / LIV3F. I'm currently testing it with the updated firmware version, as per $$PSTMVER,GNSSLIB_8.4.10.16.3_ARM*5E. Hi, I have a EVB-LIV3R board and I'm trying to command its power modes.To put the device on standby mode, it is declared that we can use the "#PSTMFORCESTANDBY,<time>" message, where <time> is the number of seconds (see UM2523). But when I try to do it, the device goes asleep indefinitely, and also doesn't respond to any input on the Wakeup Pin (pin#5 on chip, available on test point #310 labelled on board).Am I missing something? Do I have to configure the device with other commands before it? Why do the wakeup pin can't achieve it's purpose?

Currenlty working with Teseo EVB-TAPP test mode, My requirement is to find out the time period, from the sent RTCM test message,to the response from the device.. I could able to see the time of sent RTCM test message in ST Proprietary: AUX message,but couldnt able to find the response time taken by the teseo app itself. There is no response getting generated from the Teseo app.after sending the Test message.

Hello. I've developed the board based on TESEO LIV3R module. I have successfully developed and debug code on X-NUCLEO GNSS1A1 and it get position from the GNSS receiver perfectly. When I run the same code on my board, I receive NMEA messages with 0. No position, no speed, no time, 99 satellites..I attached my schematic. I use chip antenna 1575AT43A0040E. Can anyone help, what is wrong?

The quesition is straight forward. Why my GNSS module only prints the old data (as you can see in the figure it prints data from 10 hours ago). Sometimes it also stops printing message for few minutes and then it'll repeat printing old messages.For details, I'm using X-CUBE-GNSS1 software pack and my computer time is set in UTC+0.

In $GPGST, it contains altitude error in standard deviation. Can we use AltErr as vertical uncertainty?How to calculate it ? Thanks.

We are experiencing poor quality solder joints on our Teseo-LIV3F parts. When reflowing our boards, the Teseo-LIV3F's crystal is coming off.Our process requires that the board is baked twice, once per side. Since the Teseo-LIV3F's crystal often has weak cold solder joints, it has a high likelihood of falling off (around 80%) when the board is heated with the Teseo-LIV3F facing down.The concentration of other components on our PCB necessitate that we run the boards through the chamber in this order. We do not expect ST's Teseo-LIV3F to have poor quality solder joints in it.See the photos attached.Please help us remedy this issue.

Hi, I have been reading about this module (Teseo-LIV3F) and this IC (STA8089FG), as I can see both offers almost the same characteristics and both need external circuits to connect an antenna, so in which case should I use one or another?, why the module is shielded and the IC is unshielded?, I thought that all the RF components must be shielded but this is a case where I think I was wrongThanks

This company is working together with Quectel to develop a hybrid navigation system with gnss and imu. The receiver module that Quectel provided(LG69TAB), did not come with a detailed description of its functinal safety implemantation. We are not sure if such document exist or it's also in developing stage.Quectel once gave an intro which confirmed the existence of the following internal documents:

Test environment : GNSS simulationGNSS simulator : Rohde and schwarz vector signal generatorReceiver : TeseoAPP EVK(hardware type : Teseo 5)

As the description on datasheet, this IC can be used as host MCU and can be developed GNSS base application running in internal flash. Is there any EVB and SDK to support it please?

I'm considering the Teseo-LIV3F(L) for my current project, but I could not find an Abs. Max Rating for the current through VCC RF. The closest to this rating I could find is Fig. 10 in the LIV3F hardware spec that mentions a TPS22943, which limits its output current to 40mA - 80mA.

I have a significant number of bricked STA8089's, literally 100's, and I'm trying to find out why.The devices won't respond, VOL2 is lower than it should be (1.2V), the RF chain is dead (low supply voltage), and there seems to be no response to the serial port, at any bit rate. What do I need to do to recover to factory reset status. In an ideal world I'd like to get the CDB values out, but right now just recovering would be a good start. These are naked devices, no micro present, so any config / boot has to be serial / handshake based.

Herewith i have attached my Gnss receiver configuration.I can able to see all the gnss information in teseo-suite pro application.But my requirement is the raw binary data which is being received on the com port i need to convert it to human readable format. And the condition is i have to use only RTCM 3.5 protocol.And once its converted to human readable format the data needs to be passed to Canoe for system testing purposes? Can you kindly support me on this ?

Hello.My name is aoki​​I am using Nucleo-F401RE and X-Nucleo-GNSS1A1.TESEO-SUITE is no longer displaying anything at all.I have tried the following to solve this problem.A. I initialized the flash of Nucleo-F401RE and downloaded the sample software, but there was no change.B. I reinstalled TESEO-SUITE, but there was no change.C. When I check the serial communication with Tera Term, I can receive the data, but there is no longitude and latitude information from the satellite.​​From the above results, it is the internal flash of Teseo -LIV3F that is suspicious.​Please let me know how to restore the factory default settings for Teseo -LIV3F implemented in X-Nucleo-GNSS1A1.​Thank you ​

Is there any information about the maximum number of tracking channels? Is it a pool of channels distributed between enabled gnss systems or does it exist a maximum number of channels available to a GNSS system? (In particular for Galileo) There are maritime applications that will utilize the RLM message offered by Galileo. In the performance standard for those applications (EPIRB,PLB) it is required that 90% of the Galileo satellites above 5 deg must be tracked in case some of them will transmit the RLM message. Can Teseo-LIV3F meet such a requirement with the final Galileo constellation? There will probably be up to 12-13 satellites in view.best regardsMads-l
