Hello, Can you help me?

I assembled a module on the Teseo-liv3f basis with a passive antenna (A25-4102920-AMT02). And I can not get the coordinates in nmea messages (screenshot in attach). What could be the problem?

Thank you.

    Hi Sergei.

Do you have LNA and SAW filter in the RF-path?

    Regards

    Francesco

    Francesco,

I do not have an LNA and SAW filter. I use a minimum of connections.

    Thank you.

    Hi Sergei.

Sorry for the wrong image. I'l take an action to fix the document.

LNA and SAW are strongly suggested as reported in Chapter '6'.

    Sorry for the mistake.

    Regards

     Francesco

    Francesco,

quote "Chapter 6.1 A passive antenna can be directly connected to Teseo-LIV3F. Take care that the antenna has to be close to the module...."

What about this? It is also mistake?

    Hi Francesco,

I have the same problem with my Teseo-LIV3F module. It is connected to an active GPS antenna with an external power supply.

I receive several GPS satelliteᅠ with a very good field strength as following picture:

The first time I tested the module, I've got the fix 3D for about 4 hours.

After that, I can't have the fix and I don't have the position:

I've tried to update the ephemeris but with no result

In all my tests, only one time I saw one GLONASS satellite for about half an hour.

    Can you help me?

    Best regards

    Francesco

    Ciao Francesco

Is the module restarting correctly powering-OFF an ON?

    Thanks

    Ciao Francesco,

I turned it OFF and ON several time, while it was working (FIX 3D) and not working (no FIX).

    I'm using Teseo-Suite Pro v5.2.3.1.

Every time I powered-OFF and ON, I could receive NMEA messages, write commands and receive several GPS satellite with good C/N.

    Ciao Francesco

Could you check in which production slot has been assembled the module you have?

    On top of the shield:

    "YWW" means 'Year-week'

    Thanks

    Ciao
