When I'm sending data from computer it works perfectly- data is sent and STM's response is received over UART in RealTerm. However switching to bluetooth module and sending and receiving data from android app doesn't work as expected. For now I want to send ASCII data (for now just 0 and 1, but the goal is to send integers from 0 to 100). Perhaps it has something to do with message length or app's baud rate.I also tried to send data as byte not byte array but it didn't work- when I sent 0 it worked fine but when I sent 1 I got 120 decimal on STM, 2 I got 128, 3 I got 248. Posted on August 08, 2017 at 14:40Hi,I have the ST S2-LP transceiver both transmitting and receiving just fine however i'm struggling to put the chip into a continuous wave mode.. from reading the data sheet i have configure the following :  To set the continuous wave the TXSOURCE field (of the PCKTCTRL1 register) must be set to 0x03To set the continuous wave the MOD_TYPE field (of the MOD2 register) must be set to 0x70Is there any additional registers i should be aware of in order to configure continuous wave mode?ThanksEd

Hello,I have been working for a week now on USB-C Power Delivery Library for STM32G0 but I am facing some problems to communicate with other devices. I want to setup a Dual Role Power (DRP) communication with a power bank also supporting DRP.I based my code on the USB-PD sink introduction example, changing only the total heap size of FreeRTOS to 10KB to be able to launch the USBC thread.Then, I added some Source and Sink PDOs to the system: 0x22019096 (5V DRP+DRD), 0x2202d096 (9V DRP+DRD) and 0x2203c096 (12V DRP+DRD) based on the USB-C PD Rev3.0 specs.My hardware setup looks like this (I adapted the measurement of VBUS for BSP_PWR_VBUSGetVoltage): I even downloaded the USB-C PD ST Microcontroller Guide and looked at the PR Swap Accepted request message sequence, but this time, but this time I get no notification at all. Hi there!What is the correct procedure to change the S2-LP's frequency after it has been initialized with a call to S2LP_RADIO_Init()?After I call S2LP_RADIO_SetFrequencyBase() the S2-LP appears to lock up. MC_STATE1 = 0x52 and MC_STATE0 = 0x29 which means that the state value is an invalid value of 0x14 which indicates an error condition or hardware issue.Thanks in advance,Pieterhttps://piconomix.com

In the datasheet for the L6362A, section 11.8 mentions putting an external diode on OUTH or OUTL to protect against an open wire on VCC or Gnd. Looking at the block diagram of the chip, I don't see what the purpose of those diodes is. What am I missing?

There is a problem using SPSGRFC-868. let me write my steps,I generated 72Mhz/64 clock freq. for SPI SPI working mode 0 (Clck idle low/ first clck edge)(I tried 4 mode extra.)before loop SDN pin LOWBefore read-write Chipselect pin LOW, after that HIGH.firstly I tried reading registers . the codes like that, Write(0x01); Write(0x94)  // any register Dummy_data = Read(0);               I run the code.(I look osilosscope and SPI signals as I wrote above.)fristly Dummy_data becomes 0x52 20-30 times. after that Dummy_data becomes 0x00 finally Dummy_data becomes 0xFFI try so much variation. Can u help me what is my fault?

I am using Bluenrg-m2sp module and, I have flashed it from serial wire provision. I have used code provided in examples of "BlueNRG-1_2 DK 3.2.1" folder and program name is "BLE_Chat_Master_Slave". I'm a not experienced student who has to deliver his thesis in a given time frame. I developed an Android app which has to send data as a client to a Nucleo-STM32F411RE server via Bluetooth. First I used the BLE expansion IDB05A1 where I have been able to receive correctly the data from 5 different characteristics within the Attribute_Modified_CB function on the Nucleo side. Now I migrated the whole thing to the BNRG2A1 expansion. Unfortunatly the setup of the sample software in the new environement is different to the old setup. I tried to receive the data in the Attribute_Modified_CB function again. Now I'm receiving the correct handle for all the corresponding characteristics but I'm only getting the correct data for the first of the 5 characteristics. For all other characteristcs the data bytes are all 0. Does anybody have an idea why this happens or what has to be changed to get the data for all my characteristics?Thank you very much for your help.

I am working on learning to communicate via SPSGRF from the nucleo to the STM32 IOT discovery kit - which includes SPSGRF integrated.Please comment on what files or code you would look at to integrate this library. There are a lot of files, and I have a hard time identifying which parts are hardware specific to the example's target (STM32L152RE-Nucleo). I try to get the sample app and the sensor app running on a Nucleo-STM32F411RE together with a X-Nucleo-BNRG2A1 expansion. I configured everything as it was described in the corresponding docu. But I was not able to get it running. The device does not even show up in a Bluetooth scanner. I setup the same board with the older X-Nucleo-IDB05A1 many times and had no problems getting it running. Is there anything that is different with the X-Nucleo-BNRG2A1 expansion? I alread checked the jumpers. J10 is connected. J14 connects Pins 2 and 3. and J15 is open. What am i doing wrong here? I tried to debug the applications and found out that the hci_*** command don't return the BLE_STATUS_SUCCESS as they should do.Thank you very much for your help.

I used disco board stm32f769i in external flash application and it works well then I used the same microcontroller type with another external flash module  MT25QL256 and the written data is corrupted .I think it is configuration problem so what the principle configuration should I review?and is there any flashing algorithm code for MT25QL256 IC ?

I don't want to use the provided SW library for the STUSB1602, it's far too complicated for my application and I'm using a different MCU.The datasheet only has a register overview, the software doesn't seem to have any info and there aren't additional documents describing the registers.Can anyone point me to where I can find this information?

We are using BLUENRG-232 in one of our low cost designs. On page 138 of the datasheet, we can see two DC-DC converter configs. For cost savings, we would like to go with non-active DC-DC converter config. However, there isn't much info available about the power consumption or performance impact. I would like to have a deeper understanding of both active and non-active DC-DC converter modes.

My project involves using two SPSGRF-915 RF Transceivers (one acting as a transmitter while the other as a receiver all the time). I observe some degree of packet loss using a debugger window connected to the receiver node, and a Logic Analyzer connected to the transmitter node. I produce a csv file through the Saleae Logic Analyzer and count how many bytes I transmitted through the csv file (I also observe a counter that increments if a TX_DATA_SENT interrupt is received on the transmitter node). On the receiver node, I also observe how many packets/commands are received through a variable that increments when a data is received. Comparing the two, I noticed that some packets are not received at the receiver. One workaround that I implemented (which improved the packet loss issues significantly) is by using the STack packet format instead of the Basic packet format. I'm looking at designing the SPIRIT1 into a new design.The datasheet suggests up to 500 kbps (over the air), is this true for all bands, i.e. will I see 500 kbps at 169 MHz? This would make it much more appealing.

I'm trying to connect to a sensortile.box via bluetooth with BlueSTSDK in python. Hey everybody. I am new to RF modules and was wondering if you need an antenna for the SPSGRFGC-868 RF module to work. I am working on a vagus nerve stimulation system for my university. Long story short, the VNS system has an implanted pulse generator that needs to be programmed wirelessly. So I was thinking about using a RF module to program the implanted device with a programming wand. The thing is, I want to be able to use the RF modules without the antennas. The antenna is not supposed to be on the body and would take too mucho space.Sorry for the long explanation, thanks in advance to all :)

The embedeed system measures temperatures, currents, voltages, save it on EEPROM, and send Altert with Ethernet/Can when there is a problem.Now we would like to add the possibility to check currents, voltages, temperatures from a server sending POST requests(client's servor send only POST, no GET).That's why I have activated LWIP_HTTPD and LWIP_HTTPD_SUPPORT_POST.With httpd_post_begin, httpd_post_receive_data and httpd_post_finished I receive http requests, I can detect what information cleint's servor ask, but I don't know how to return the values they asked.I know how to send custom file because in an other project I had to do it.
