Hello.​I'm using VL53L1X sensor with Ultra Lite Driver (ULD). VL53L1X_GetRangeStatus function returns all the time status 255. Details:​The high-pass filter can be configured in reference mode by setting the HP_REF_MODE bit in the CTRL7 register to 1. In this configuration the output data is calculated as the difference between the measured acceleration and the output values captured when reference mode was enabled. I'm using a NUCLEO-L476RG with a STEVAL-MKI197V1, connected in SPI mode without any expansion board. My setup works: I successfully used the LSM6DSOX low-level driver to read sensor data. But my attempts to use the high level libraries, such as MotionAC and MotionGC, have failed:MotionAC_Initialize() and MotionGC_Initialize() always hang with a hard fault interrupt, andMotionAC_GetLibVersion() and MotionGC_GetLibVersion() always return zero.I think I've followed the setup instructions, including adding the CRC module, but obviously there's something I'm doing wrong. Hello ST team, I’m using the IIS3DWB (STEVAL-MKI208V1K) together with an Arduino Portenta H7. No filter added through the composite group of digital filters, only the default LPF1. Also, 2g scale resolution.When placing the sensor on a surface isolated from vibrations (i.e. reading the static DC response), single axis mode, I’m registering a noise of about +-20 mg around the gravity constant offset. Graph in image1.Similarly, when measuring a 674 Hz signal from a tone generator, single axis mode, I see a noise +-20 mg added to the signal. Graph in image2.In the datasheet, a noise of 60 microg / sqrt(Hz) is indicated for single axis mode, so I think I’m seeing a bigger noise than expected (around 2 mg for the 674 Hz signal using that datasheet value).Am I misunderstanding the noise definition of the datasheet in relation to the noise I’m seeing in my experiments? Hi, I am using Motor Control workbench to run the motor using Nucleo-F446RE and X-NUCLEO-IHM08M1. Initially I used Main Sensor "Observer+PLL" and auxiliary sensor "Hall Sensor" and I can able to control the motor. Now our requirement is to use only hall sensor as Main sensor. In this case the motor is able to run but at a fixed speed and not varying to any change in parameters. Thank you.RegardsVijay Ganisetti.

I am working with a SM32F401+iks01a3 and the x-cube-mems1 example Datalog_Terminal.The program works correctly in the IDE and I can see the sensor values with the terminal application, but Unicleo doesn´t detect the nucleo board.Many thanks.

we have a sensortile that I connected to via the sensor ios app. got a pop up in the app that there's a new firmware available. and pressed ok. following that, the board did not come live. the same thing happened on a second board.

What output data format does the STEVAL-STWINKT01 develepment board use? (.dat) How can I make this data visible and view it? For example, in excel. It would be nice to see what data the device has saved to the SD card and process it. How can this be done?

I am using LIS3DH accelerometer. I would like to reset all register contents to power ON defaults through software method. I know that giving a power cycle would reset the contents of the registers to defaults, but I am looking for a SW method(like writing a bit in the register).

Hello , I am working with accelerometer LIS2DW12, when I move the device very very slowly I do not see that an INT1 interrupt being raised. However, when I move the device in regular speed I DO see the interrupts. Can you tell me why is that?(the movement includes - moving from side to side for a ragular INT1, and flipping to get orientation change)Thank you

Hello,I'm working on an ultra low power application where the MLC of the LSM6DSO32X is used to wake up the mcu when interesting stuff is happening, in particular I implemented two decision trees, each one focused on the detection of a pattern.In order to reduce the false wakeups, I would like to apply the meta classifier only on one of the two trees, for the other one the counters are set to 0.Now the problem is that I don't understand how to do it with Unico. At some point of the MLC configuration in Unico, it ask for the end counter for the meta classifier (see attached image), however there is no way of configuring the sub-group of the meta classifier (I would like the counter to be 1 for the no_change result and 10 for the change result). Hello everyone,I'm interfacing a digital MEMS microphone with a stm32l152re mcu cortex M3 using I2S with DMA In order to measure sound pressure level. the communication is based on acquiring PDM ( Pulse density modulation) values that represents the analog signal and then convert it into a PCM ( pulse code modulation) values. Based on these PCM values the sound pressure value is calculated. I tested the microphone with a sonometer using an acoustic signal generator with frequencies from 20Hz-20Khz. The MEMS microphone in my case uses 16kHz as a sampling frequency. The measurement was 2-3 dB close to the sonometer taken values using frequencies ranging from 800Hz-8Khz. However, a difference of 10dB is measured in low and High frequencies. In addition, when a sudden and loud noise is abrupted, the noise level difference measured between the MEMS microphone and the sonometer is around 20dB and more. Reducing the number of sensors enabled in the configuration file helps, as does slowing down the SD clock (i.e. increasing hsd1.Init.ClockDiv = n in STWIN_sd.c). We've also noted that the code in sd_diskio.c has the compile time build define "ENABLE_SCRATCH_BUFFER". Please can you say if this should or should not be switched on for the StWin1b hs data logger ?

Hi im using lis2dw12tr sensor with I2C protocol in my app and i configured sensor in powerdown CTRL1 register i writed 0x00.But i see that on the board on which sensor is placed has current consumption around 370uA. On the board with unmounted sensor current consumption is 2.5 uA. Code on both board is the same.I also tried to configure in CTRL2 register CS_PU_DISC to "1" (default is "0"). I have external pull-up resistors on SDA and SCL lines (10k). Schematic is used from sensors datasheet (Figure 6. LISDW12 electrical connections).Do I must also to change some values in register CTLR3 (PP_OD, LIR, H_LACTIVE) from "0" to "1"?Is it verification board for the LIS2DW12TR this board STEVAL-MKI179V1?

Hello, I’m using the IIS3DWB with an Arduino Portenta, using a procedure similar to Kris Winer’s github (i.e. using the FIFO buffer in continuous mode, 256 watermark, stop on watermark, data ready interrupt on watermark, running various cycles until having all the required samples for FFT).Reading FREQ_FINE from the INTERNAL_FREQ_FINE register doesn’t seems to work. It gives 0 when I read those bits (I tried reading from the register in different parts of the code).Can you give me an advice on how to make it work? I made sure to have 1 in the variable that receives the value from FREQ_FINE[7:0] bits, in order to see if the 0 was really the read from INTERNAL_FREQ_FINE register.I wanted to check the sampling frequency since in my experiments it seems to be slightly different to 26667 Hz. And I came to the problem of not being able to have information from INTERNAL_FREQ_FINE registerMany thanks in advance!

Hi,I am using the eval board STEVAL-MKI210V1K, iNemo inertial module kit based on ISM330DHCX.I am trying to have datas from the temperature sensor.I am using the official driver of ISM330DHCX and i did my own program. When i am reading datas, i check my SPI communication with an oscilloscope, my MOSI is good but i dont received anything by the sensor (MISO). in MOSI, I have 1 byte for the register and 1 byte with 0. in MISO, I have 1 byte of FF and 1 byte with 0. All my pins are set with a pull up. First of all, is it a problem with my hardware ? can you tell me the shematic pins of the STEVAL-MKI210V1K for a communication SPI. I dont think that my program is wrong because i send the good thing in my MOSI pin. Thank you for your help.
