(MCU running, requires power cycle) I am trying to configure an 8080 16-bit parallel LCD using FMC on an STM32H5563 development board, but it is inconsistent and unstable. I am getting a logic analyzer and will be able to provide screenshots of the signals in a bit. Tutorials I have referenced:Phil's LabControllerstechNick Nagy GitHub Tutorial Issue:My test code initializes the display and then alternates filling the entire screen between red and white.For the display to show anything at all, I must perform a full power cycle (physically unplug and re-apply power). Toggling the LCD RESET pin or following the reset sequence from the datasheet does not reset the display.Once reset, on the first draw or two, only about 3/4 of the display is updated then begins updating the full screen correctly. After a few seconds the display freezes, stopping on either red or white. MCU does not freeze, the display just stops updating (tested by including a LED toggle in the loop).So

Hello,I've been trying to get the 67W61M1 board working with a NUCLEO-H7A3ZI-Q and the SPI has been giving me issues. I got the module flashed to 2.0.89 with mission_t01 and I'm trying to use the WiFi Commissioning application in CubeMX. The SPI seems to be out of sync, despite any configuration I provide in CubeMX. Below is what I'm seeing in a logic analyzer. It's using a 17.5 MBits/s baud rate right now since that's the closest to synced it has gotten. Is there any special configuration beyond what is in the documentation needed for the DMA or SPI with this MCU?

Hello,I am working with two X-NUCLEO-PLM01A1 PLC expansion boards, each connected to a different STM32 MCU board.Hardware setup:Transmitter MCU: STM32C092CBT6Receiver MCU: STM32G070CBT6PLC modem: ST7580 on both X-NUCLEO-PLM01A1 boardsBoth boards are connected over the same power lineProblem description:I am trying both DL mode and physical data transmission.Data transmission is not continuous.The receiver board does not receive correct data (data is corrupted or not received).The TX_ON and RX_ON LEDs on both X-NUCLEO-PLM01A1 boards remain LOW and do not blink during transmission or reception.The ST7580 IC replies on SPI/UART, but no proper PLC data transfer occurs.Additional observation:I also tried using the ST-provided API / middleware available on the ST website, but the transmission gets stuck with a transmission error and does not complete successfully.Observations:SPI/UART communication between MCU and ST7580 is working.T_REQ behavior has been checked.Despite transmission attempt

Hi, I am using the ICM20948 IMU sensor, and currently, I am extracting data from the 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope. Now I want to get data from the DMP feature of the sensor to simplify my firmware. I am using  STM32F103c8t6 to read data from a sensor with the help of the I2C communication protocol.Please help me out with how I can configure it and what is needed for it.

Hello STM Community -  This post is in reference to the recent STM32U3 workshop webinar. I worked through the rather involved / complicated setup associated with the NFC example. Once the code was generated, 23 errors were returned during compilation. Not sure whether to chase down the 23 errors or request a "known good" project ZIP. I really just wanted to see the NFC function with the STM32U3 series MCU's. Pls advise.  Thanks much, Kelly      

I am looking for example software for Display Port Alt mode for the STM32G0B1 eval board.  I can't find it in the repository after searching most folders.  The daughtercard schematic (MB1352) shows the DP alt mode connections, so I think this software exists and I am just not looking in the right place.  Any suggestions on where to find the software example or even low level drivers for this would be appreciated.Thanks, Sonya

hi i have been working to intergrate a parallel RGB dispay with stm32h7A3ZIT6 with the help of LTDC . and pretty much made it working the display has this configuration  .   this one worked pretty well with the stm LTDC and then i bought a new display it has a differnt configurations like this  this one is in HV mode whats changed? can i stilll use stm ltdc to drive this . and whats the differance between these displays.????

Hello everyone,I am currently migrating a project from a Newhaven ATXL series display to their newer ASXP series (both 4.3", 480x272 RGB interface) on a custom board based on the STM32F767.I am trying to isolate the root cause of severe color artifacts I'm seeing, specifically whether this is a Software configuration issue, a signal integrity issue on my Custom PCB, or a potential hardware defect in the display panels I received.The Situation: I have configured the LTDC timings strictly according to the new ASXP datasheet. However, the image is unstable and has artifacts.The "Hot-Swap" Verification: To troubleshoot, I performed a live test to rule out my PCB connections:I initialized the STM32F767 with the new ASXP LTDC settings.Connected the new ASXP screen -> Result: Artifacts/Noise.While powered on, I swapped it with the old ATXL screen.Result: The old ATXL screen works perfectly even when driven with the new ASXP timings.Video of the test:My Question: Since the old screen works

Hello,I'm using STM32 for a long time and really enjoy these devices to work with them.But I'm a passionate about aviation and I want to build my own A319/A320/A321/A330 PFD/ND displays.My idea is to use USB or Ethernet to send compressed image from X-Plane 12 to a STM32 MCU.What I'm trying to achieve is to use a small number of devices to show the PFD image on 2 square displays of 800x800 MIPI 4 lanes.I found some IC which can convert LTDC RGB888/RGB666/RGB565 to MIPI 4 lanes (like TC358778XBG).My questions are:1. There are any MCUs with dual phisical LTDC avaiable from STM? In case there is no MCU available, I will use one per display.2. FMC can be used with SDRAM + LCD in the same time? Because I saw the physical lines are shared. Thanks.

Dear All,I have been working on project to develop an HMI for vehicle for prototype purpose I am using MI0283QT-9A TFT display in SPI mode want it to work with my customized board using STM32F103CBT6. Hi there, I'm using Nucleo-G474RE to send a bit stream over Simulink, instead of receiving 24 bits on the oscilloscope i can read only 8 bits, which are supposed to be the 8 bits in the middle that have the address of the peripheral and the status of the I2C block gives me 516 which is not on the documentation from matlab.

Hello there, First time posting here!Please let me know if I am posting things inappropriately. We are looking for a MCU and its corresponding evaluation board. Our input signal that coming into the board/MCU is 800 MHz.And our application processing speed is also at least 800 MHz. We notice that STM32N6/Cortex-M55 seems like a choice as its processing speed can go up to 800 MHz.It also has a new ST Neural-ART accelerator, seems like a good choice for our neural network process.However, we did not find a evaluation board with STM32N6/Cortex-M55 that has input PIN can digest up to 800 MHz. Anyone has any suggestions?Or is there any other combinations you should consider? Thank you guys so much!

I was trying to use the xcube_TOF application inside the st32cubemx for the stm32h7 nucleo board. However, the tof initialisation is keep getting failed. Is it really possible to implement a i2c connection between x_nucleo_53l8a1 and the stm32H7 nucleo board? I tried to implement the hardware connections just like in the stm32nucleof401re.Could anyone please help me with this?
