STM32 MCUs Boards and hardware tools

I have properly connected the SD card module to the NUCLEO-F722 using the following reference URL, but I am still experiencing FR_DISK_ERR. I have searched for a solution in the STMicroelectronics Community and tried the methods described, but have been unable to resolve the issue. I’m designing a custom board based on STM32N6 and using the same boot flash as the NUCLEO‑N657X0‑Q (MB1940). In the reference design, all OCTOSPI signals to the flash have 0‑Ω bridges in series, and the traces are length‑matched including those footprints.What’s the main reason for these 0‑Ω parts? Are they only for flexibility during bring‑up (e.g., swapping in damping resistors), or do they serve another purpose? Hi, im planing on running computer vision DL models on multiple STM32 boards. At this moment I will compare a STM32MP256F-EV1 with a STM32H747-DISCO, however i only bought the B-CAMS-OMV and is not the same connector on the MP board. IS there any way o run this camera module on both board, can I just get an adapter from the 30-pin ZIF to the CSI connector?Also i dont is the any suplementary information about the ZIF connector

Hi, We have bought the NUCLEO-H533RE board and I tried to power it via E5V by connecting the Arduino Minima R4 board 5V power output into E5V and GND signals in pins 6 an 8 respectively. I instantly noticed that the LED LD3 is lit with green, but the MCU got really hot. I would also like to mention that the Arduino board is powered by USB-C so, the output current from the 5V output pin in Arduino shouldn't be more than 500mA anyways. Since then, I tried to get back to using the default 5V_STLK USB power supply, but LD4 starts flashing red rapidly, which indicates that the drawing current exceeded the 500mA. I measured the 3V3 and 5V pins on the board with ~0.28V and ~0.8V respectively.  I just would like to also mention that replaced the STM32H533RE MCU with STM32H523RET6 MCU. Is there any reported fault on that board regarding connecting the the external power supply? Also Is it possible to power up the NUCLEO board from Arduino Uno Minima R4 by connectin

I am having difficulty creating AD schematic and PCB libraries for the NUCLEO-H563ZI from the MB1404 Altium project files. The process fails when attempting to create similar components, such as resistors.Is there any chance of obtaining the libraries for this project or access to the MCD_PARTS_database.DbLib?ST team, I would greatly appreciate your support.  

Hi everyone ! I am having problem with the I²C connection. The problem is that, normally the the SDA and SCL pins work properly (I checked it with a logic analyzer) but when I connect them to the module or sensor I use, both of them goes LOW and stay at that level. When I reset the board, the SDA goes HIGH for a really really short time and goes LOW again. I searched on the Internet for a solution but couldn't find one. By the way, I am using STM32 H755ZI-Q Development Board and the ADS1115 ADC module.  The things that I checked and tried so far: The wiring is correct The code is correct (I am just using the HAL library functions) The I²C address is correct The module is working (at least I used it with Arduino without any problem) I tried it with 10K Pull-Up resistors but nothing changed.   As a note, I am having this problem with an other sensor either (OV7670 camera sensor) and also I tested  different copies of these sensors and modules, in a case that they can be br

I’m testing low-power modes on my STM32 B-L072Z-LRWAN1 board and measuring the current consumption.When I measure the current using a Xiao PowerBread, I get around 20 mA on the 5 V rail, even when the MCU enters Sleep Mode.My question is whether the on-board LEDs (LD5 and LD7) could be masking the expected drop in power consumption.According to the board documentation:LD7 (Red) is the 5 V Power LED, which is always on when 5 V is present.LD5 (Green) is the ST-LINK COM LED, powered from the ST-LINK interface and active during communication.Since these LEDs are powered from the 5 V rail and the ST-LINK section, they remain on regardless of the MCU power mode.So my questions are:Can these LEDs (and the ST-LINK interface) prevent me from seeing the real power drop when the MCU goes into Sleep Mode?What is the best way to measure only the MCU’s current consumption, excluding the ST-LINK and LEDs?Should I remove some jumpers or power the MCU directly through the VIN V pin?   Thanks

Hi everyone,create the cubeide project for onboard PDM MEMS microphone on stm32 discovery kit. 1- I2S22-Mode: Half Duplex Slave3-DMA Settings -> add -> SPI2_TX Problem in section 3 . I cannot see the SPI2_RX which I will get the PDM peripheral to memory. As much as I know that is the right. Also I watched a video it is the same. Where is the problem. New version of software has problem? Or I can do something for it? Thanks for help in advance.

Hello I tried a blinky code which works with an other disco board I bought several months ago and it doesn't work with the new one. Hello Everyone, I have the Nucleo-H7S3L8 as my first STM32 board. I want to connect it to a Segger J-Link Pro for JTAG. In the official documentation (https://www.st.com/resource/en/user_manual/um3276-stm32h7rx7sx-nucleo144-board-mb1737-stmicroelectronics.pdf), the board supports JTAG debugging through the MIPI20 connector CN1 (7.3.3 on page 14). For a more detailed view, see Figure 4 on Page 10. I am looking for a way to connect MIPI20 (male pins) to the ARM-20 pins on the J-Link. Is there a way to connect the two?

Purchased the SensorTileBoxPro and got in way over my head. I wanted a wearable to detect and alert of undesirable head movement. 1. Can this device be programed to do this?2. Is there anyone that could program it for a modest fee?

I am trying to run some basic tests on the STM32H7S78-DK discovery board.I am having some trouble properly initializing the PSRAM (is this info available somewhere, what are the right settings?)PSRAM is clocked at 200MHz, i copied settings from the available examples/bspI am having random errors, it looks like that sometimes the write is not executedMost of the time like 99.99% of the case, everything works fine, but sometimes i read old data from the PSRAM, this mostly happens with 16 or 8 bit r/w but rarely also with 32 bit r/wI have a test that writes the whole ram with some pattern then verifies it.This happens in all combination of cache settings, but cache settings have a significant impact on the frequency of these errors (not clear why).i'm logging the result, it looks something like this:T32 for pattern 0fc52bc8 0 diff T16 for pattern 00007118 0 diff T8 for pattern 000000bb 0 diff T32 for pattern 4fa30e48 0 diff T16 for pattern 00005498 0 diff T8 for pattern 0000003b 0 diff T3

Hello everybody! I recently started experiencing weird, unstable behavior during debug on my Nucleo u575zi-q board. So, I don't use HAL, or any graphic programming, or any API, doing everything in pure C from scratch. The IDE I use is, of course, the STM32 CUBE. It is the Mac version, 1.19.0. When my project was simple, everything was okay; the ST-LINK debug worked great. At some point, though, the debug became unstable. Sometimes the debug freezes, but more often it somehow ends up doing more strange things. For example, I have an RTC module in my project, and in the code, I wait for the RSF flag:while(!(RTC->ICSR & RTC_ICSR_RSF)){};When I download the code to my NUCLEO board and run it, everything is fine. But when I debug the same code, press the "run" button, the debug gets frozen on waiting for this flag to be set, and it seems that the flag, for some reason, never sets! So the debug doesn't work. I have overall found this feature to be very unreliable, for reasons unknown. The data comes out OK from PB3 and goes all the way to the STLINK V3, at the expected speed, 1MHz, but Cube IDE displays nothing. I have this across a number of development units. Sometimes it works and then stops...Anyway, digging into this, it looks like the entire trace macrocell is configured via the debugger when (or before) reset is released from the target. That is why none of the STM example code sets up any of this stuff. I also managed, years ago, to get SWV working not with Cube IDE but with the STM32 STLINK Utility, which presumably does the same via-debugger config tricks.Also just because you see 1MHz stuff on the scope doesn't mean that it is in the right format for Cube IDE to decode it.So I went looking for how to get this stuff configured in software in the target. Obviously any such config will override the Cube/debugger config so you will have to make sure Cube IDE's config matches ex

For testing, I’m just using the USER1 button  (BP1 in my code ) and LED1. I couldn’t get the button working properly with interrupts, so in this code I just read the state of USER1 ( BP1) and turn LED1 on or off accordingly.  The USER1 button is always read as the same value, no matter whether I press it or not.     in debug Mode :  GPIOx const GPIO_TypeDef * 0x56020800GPIO_Pin uint16_t 8192bitstatus GPIO_PinState GPIO_PIN_RESET   Here are the code and screenshots. Hello wonderful ST Community!It has been 2 days since my last major project halting problem! Haha, must be time for a new one!In the last two years since I started to learn STM32 I have never had a Memory management fault so I have no clue what to do! From my research online I have gotten to the point in the screenshot, my understanding form the two registers shown is that an instruction is trying to be executed from a bad mem address, something to do with function pointers?   Of other note is the lack of information in the debug panel on the left hand side, normally it shows the call stack (I think that's what it's called) but it's not showing anything useful. The breakpoint pointer is also not showing, the only reason I know it's a MemManage_Handler is from the Debugger Console.I would love to be able to figure out where the error is originating form but under registers all the registers including the PC are blank, not helpful! Any ideas would be great h

Hi there, I have been trying to send a receive messages via serial with the transmit and receive commands on a H7A3ZI Nucleo board, however when I build the code and run it with the debugger I cannot see the messages in the console or command shell console. I have used a 115200 Baud rate, and connected to COM 3 with 8 bits and 1 stop bit. This has also been set up in my device manager. When trying to connect the command shell console it is intermittent when connecting, and normally needs to be physically disconnected to reconnect. I am using suart2 with PA2 as the TX, and PA3 as the RX. SB16 and SB17 are soldered, and SB12 and SB64 aren't soldered. please let me know what else I could try, here is a example of the code that I have tried to run...
