Dear ST,Could you please help me on that how can I solve the below issue?After updating the HALL firmware in teh Cube MX to FW F4 V 1.27.1 when i am regenerating the code. In the place where the FREE RTOS componens are created before a headline of the main.c is generated instead.Do you know is the Firmware update reset some settings?Thank you,David

Hello,I using STM32CubeIDE to create my Code with STM32CubeMX.With version STM32CubeMX V6.6.1 there where no problems.Now with the update V6.7.0 and the project migration all the freeRTOS initialization stuff will no more generated. I selected LDO power supplyBut frequency is still limited to 400MHz.

According note of page 27 of datasheet only is possible VOS2 and VOS3. But in STM32CubeMX is possible selections of VOS0, VSO1, VSO2 and VSO3.Thank you in advance

Hi,I'm trying to configure the Ethernet peripheral on an STM32H730, using CubeMX, in order to use it with KSZ8863 PHY. (https://ww1.microchip.com/downloads/en/DeviceDoc/00002335B.pdf)Unfortunately I can't find a way to configure ETH_TX_ER other than just clicking on the pin in pinout view and selecting ETH_TX_ER.If I do so the pin is marked in yellow, which for my understanding suggests it is not configured properly.Additionally it is not shown in the GPIO settings of ETH tab. So I assume there is an issue with it.As I'm new to ethernet on MCU's, I might miss some generic information but I had a look at the reference manual as well and couldn't find any helpful description of ETH_TX_ER and its functionality.Any help or information is appreciated!

Hi everyone,I'm trying to configure LWIP for a custom board using stm32h730 and ksz8863mll PHY.Unfortunately within CubeMX there is no advanced settings tab in ETH and in LWIP on Platform Settings tab there is nothing but LAN8742 selectable.As far as found in other posts I should be able to select something like userPHY.Am I missing something or is this just another bug in CubeMX?I'm aware I'll probably have to implement some custom code for the ksz8863mll but I would really like to tell CubeMX not to basically revert all my changes whenever I press generate...

I have a situation where I use all I/O on an STM32L476RG. One of the units only sends UART data, so I want to configure the LPUART for Rx Only to keep the Tx pin free as GPO.Cube has "Advanced Setting"; I've selected "Receive Only". But unless I enable the transmitter pin, Cube reports an error and refuses to generate code -> so it seems Cube ignores my Advanced Settling? Yesterday I was able to generate code normally using STM32CubeMX. But today I am generating code again using STM32CubeMX with a lot of undefined code. I sent the file to a friend and found that he generated the code once again using STM32CubeMX and it worked. But my computer still can't generate normal code again.

Hello,I am working on STM32h745 controller. In cortex M4 I enable two ADC3 channels. Read the ADC value using DMA method. Only one time I get the ADC value after that it shows busy. Also I changes the sampling time, but no effect. But that ADC3 channels properly work in cortex M7 using DMA method. Can you please help me.

When DMA is used, the MX_DMA_Init shall always be called before any other HAL_***_Init (where *** is any peripheral with a HW dependency on DMA init code).A regression was detected in the previous STM32CubeMX version 6.3.0 (STM32CubeIDE Version: 1.7.0 ) generating a wrong order of initialization functions.This issue was fixed in the latest STM32CubeMX version 6.4.0. Thus, newly created project with this version will generate the correct initialization functions order.Because the calling order is saved into the ioc file, the misplacement call to MX_DMA_Init() remains the same when trying to migrate automatically an old project from a buggy old version to the fixed version. Hi There, I'm trying to use the STM32H743Zi2 nucleo board for test purpose. I configured the board with default settings ( when asked by CubeMX after selecting the board for a project). Means i basically did nothing (except assigning 1 ADC ppin and leaveing the rest untouched). I then tryed to configurate the Clock to use the 480MHz advertised in the datasheet, but Cube MX seems to be willing to accept only CPU Clocks below or equal to 300MHz. There seem to be a rounding problem while setting up the PLL values, as in the ioc file they appear to come out with decimal values that don't exist.main problem is still that even if setting values way below the 480MHz, CubeMX doesn't accept anything above 300MHz ( according to the hint given while hovering the error with the mouse)I had that problem once with another board, and had no other choice than restarting the project from the scratch, but that didn't work out that time. Hello,I've started using the FDCANs on a STM32H735G-DK, trying to communicate FDCAN1 with FDCAN2, as a start using HAL and Cube MX and the repository examples.All com with extended IDs was working, standard IDs when FDCAN1 as transmitter worked, but the other way did not work.So I checked the filter settings and found that all of FDCAN1's filters with sFilterConfig.IdType = FDCAN_STANDARD_ID; and sFilterConfig.FilterConfig = FDCAN_FILTER_TO_RXBUFFER;had some crappy numbers, so FilterID1 was not what it was set to.Strangely, this only happened to FDCAN1.I checked the registers for some memory overlap, all okay, then I reset the sFilterConfig at the start of the init function, and all of a sudden filter IDs were okay.void MX_FDCAN1_Init(void){ FDCAN_FilterTypeDef sFilterConfig = { 0 };...I still don't get why that happened only to FDCAN1.

When instead I try to create a new project, a satellite update program opens and everything closes (crash), I can't get out of it.Can you help me ? Thank you

Why do I need to debug my project every time to make it stm32 work?What is the reason why the system does not work when I turn it off after disconnecting it from the computer?For the system to work, I need to connect it to the computer, then when I debug, it works without any problems.

Hello,I was trying to setup a prototyping project using the NUCLEO-L031K6 examples. But the current CubeMX version 6.7.0 does not seem so know about this dev board at all.Is this a bug or is this nucleo board not fully supported by CubeMX?

I've reviewed numerous similar posts and the UART_TwoBoards_ComIT example, but have found no solution. My code is being generated by Cube 6.6.1 for the STM32F446. The UART5 Global Interrupt is enabled. My code and the example code both contain UART5_IRQHandler(void), HAL_UART_IRQHandler() and HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(). After my app calls HAL_UART_Receive_IT(), UART5_IRQHandler() is being called, presumably with every character received. But HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback() is never called. I am only interested in HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback() after all data has been received. I've found no instructions on how to enable HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback(). It seems to happen magically. Must UART5_IRQHandler(void) interrupt be enabled to get HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback() enabled? And how do I get HAL_UART_RxCpltCallback() to work? Thanks.

hello. I've never used STM32 before.I'm trying to use it this time. It requires several pins of GPIO and 3 channels of I2C.I searched and the STM32F301 seemed suitable, so I designed a circuit using it.I tried setting the PIN using a setting tool called CUBEMX, but there seems to be something wrong.If I set up I2C3 of STM32F301 using cubemx, exclamation marks appear on all I2C channels.can i know what is the problem?

Is there an official github page for STM32CubeIDE and/or STM32CubeMX to which we can raise an issue regarding the software as well as provide a fix for it? That way the community can contribute to this software (even though it probably is a closed source software).
