Hello,I`m using a Teseo-VIC3DA on a custom board with a microcontroller. I was trying to change the current output rate of GGA and RMC sentences over UART. From the software instruction I thought I have to change CDB-ID 600 where the field Dead-Reckoning fix rate is located. I read the default configuration of this parameter and change only the fix rate section. The command I sent is $PSTMSETPAR,1600,0x81400116*5F.But after saving and reset the output rate of those message is still 100ms. What I am doing wrong? What is the correct way of changing this output rate.Thank for your supportRodrigo

Hello,I am working with the UM2458 (STEVAL-CTM009V1 / CTM004V1) motor control evaluation board in SPC5Studio.In SPC5Studio project configuration, I see an L9907 Component RLA (driver + diagnostic). However, in the user manual and hardware schematic of UM2458, there is no L9907 IC present. Instead, the board uses the L6491D gate driver.Because of this mismatch, when I run Motor Control Live Monitor:I get Diag errors and register read failures from the L9907 tab.No gate drive outputs appear, even though PWM and VCC are correct.My questions:Does the UM2458 board actually use L9907 anywhere? (I think not, but SPC5Studio enables it by default.)How do I correctly configure SPC5Studio so that it matches the hardware (with L6491 gate driver)?Should I remove the L9907 RLA component from my project? Dear Experts, I cannot access the battery models from About:Energy with ST. I clicked Download model from Autodevkit Studio but the link said 404 page not found with the link: https://www.aboutenergy.io/stmicroelectronics-model-download. I also access the link provided by @Max VIZZINI with the post "Update quick start guide for BMS boards and examples version 2.6.1" slide number 10 but the link and result is the same (page not found). Hello,I'm using a Teseo III module from Lantronix. When connected up, I can see NMEA sentences over UART, at 9600 baud.I have a few questions. I'm not a GPS expert, and unfortunately, the Teseo III documentation assumes quite a bit of knowledge.Question 1: What command should I send to be able to temporarily either stop, or slow down the NMEA sentences? I'd like to stop them, so that I can type commands to experiment, and see the responses without the flood of NMEA sentences.Question 2: How do I change to 115200 baud?I have tried issuing the following commands at 9600 baud, but I can't see the responses, because there's so much NMEA sentence activity ongoing.$PSTMSETPAR,3102,0xa*32$PSTMSAVEPAR*58$PSTMSRR*49After issuing those commands, the baud rate doesn't change. I still see NMEA sentences at 9600 baud. The particular module I'm using is Lantronix PNT-SG3FS and their documentation is almost identically a copy of the ST Teseo III documentation.  Thanks in advance f

 Hello I'm trying to flash data on a large block, but I've seen that the current code stops with FlashErase or FlashProgram functions.So I tried flash control in two ways and none of them worked.1. divide separate section to flsh areas2. use the secondLargeBlockSelect parameterThis is the code that was trying the second method by separating separate sections on B0F11 and B0F12 Block.This way, it goes to FlashErase, but it seems that FlashProgram is experiencing an error.I feel like the SetLock part is not working correctly.  We are in the development stage just before mass production by contracting with an automobile company.I'd appreciate your help.Thank you.

how to properly connect multiple L9963E in daisy chain? already tried many mode and tweak. follow the design in datasheet, for transformer isolated and capacitive, but still unable to init. for the first chip, I use SPI. init the first chip is correct, but for the upper L9963E always failed. the mcu I use SPC582B signal seems good, but the ISO transceiver of the chip unable to read.   maybe there any member here thats already succesfully connect the daisy chain ISO

Greetings I have weird situation with AEK-COM-ISOSPI1 and cannot figure out what is wrong. Maybe someone here is experienced with this device and can help me out. I have absolute encoder with SPI. When i connect directly to uC all is working fine. Then i tried to use AEK-COM-ISOSPI1 and have next problem: I can readout the encoder data just with command read, so i generate just clock to start readout from encoder. This works fine, because on encoder side i get correct data 0x9F45. These data are transferred back to uC but here i get messy data from AEK-COM-ISOSPI1. I get data 0x5F61. When i look the SPI signals with logic analyzer i can see that MISO is not sync with CLK cycle. And encoder is always on the same position.  Can anyone help me and tell what im doing wrong here.   My configuration is. Hi, I'm currently working with a discovery board SPC58EC-DISP and I´m using a SPC5-UDESTK for debug, my issue is the next: The first 2 - 3 days the UDE STK 5.2 works properly, I can connect to the board without problem,  but after those days I am not able to connect with the board, it shows the next message   I delete and installed again the UDE STK 5.2 and I was able to connect to the board again but after few days Im facing the same issue, I have two laptops and in both Im facing the same issue, also the power supply and all the configuration is the same when it connects to the board and when it doesn´t connects, I read in some forums that it could be a power supply issue but definitely this is not the case because nothing changes when it works and when not..  also Im not the only one with this issue: https://community.st.com/t5/microcontrollers/problems-with-ude-visual-platform/td-p/468544https://co

Hello,  I am currently using the EVB-LIV4F and using page 8 of the UM3212 document to measure the current draw of the module. I am then placing it into SW-standby mode by sending the $PSTMFORCESTANDBY,<seconds>,1 command that I found on this post: https://community.st.com/t5/gnss-positioning/teseo-liv4f-wakeup-interrupt-and-nreset-confusion/td-p/615973 Under these conditions, I am measuring 0.0mV on the VCC (pin #9) and PM_VCC (pin #10) pins and 9.1mV on the VBAT (pin #7) and PM_VBAT (pin #8) pins. From the conversion given, the GNSS module is drawing 91uA on VBAT and not the advertised 10uA. Does the evaluation board need to be in a specific configuration to achieve the 10uA? Any jumpers that need to be added/removed?Where is the documentation on the placement of jumpers? The eval board silkscreen does not have all jumpers labelled (Jxxx) and neither does UM3212 section 6.2...

Hi ST team,I'm working with the SPC58NH microcontroller in bare-metal mode and noticed that SPC5Studio only allows interrupt routing to Core0 and Core2 — Core1 is not listed as a target in the interrupt configuration interface.To test serial communication, I implemented asynchronous mode using DMA with LINFlex on all three cores. It worked perfectly on Core0 and Core2. However, when I try to run the same setup on Core1, the system hangs as soon as data arrives via serial. The LED loop running on Core1 stops, which suggests that an interrupt is being triggered but not properly handled.To work around the lack of Core1 selection in SPC5Studio, I manually modified the lldconf.h file with the following define:#define SPC5_SERIAL_LINFLEX5_DMA_IRQ_PRIO INTC_PSR_ENABLE(INTC_PSR_CORE1, 62) Core1 is active and executing code correctly (e.g., blinking LEDs), but serial reception causes it to freeze. Hello,I'm working with the Teseo-VIC3DA GNSS module on a custom board, and I’ve configured it to output both accelerometer and location data over UART.However, I'm observing that periodically the device outputs a dump of its firmware version over UART. Similar to what is shown during boot. According to the datasheet, this kind of output usually occurs after a reset.That said, I’ve been monitoring the GNSS fix, and it does not appear to be lost, even when this output occurs. I have monitored both the RESET and VDD lines and confirmed that the module is not being externally reset or power-cycled.Is there any configuration setting or NMEA'0 command that could cause the Teseo-VIC3DA to periodically reprint the firmware version or behave as if it’s restarting?Are there logs or debug outputs that can help distinguish between a soft reboot and a normal status message?

Hello everyone,I am working with an SPC58NH92C5RMI0X microcontroller using SPC5Studio v6.0 and the corresponding GCC toolchain.Objective: I am trying to implement a persistent variable that survives warm resets (debugger or pin resets) but is initialized in a controlled manner on a cold boot (power-on). To achieve this, I have created a custom .noinit section in memory.Symptoms: The system's behavior is inconsistent and depends on the boot type:Under the Debugger (Warm Resets): The system works perfectly. I can write a value to my persistent variable, perform a reset via the debugger, and the correct value is read in the next session.On Power-On (Cold Boot): The system behaves erratically. Sometimes it boots correctly, but most of the time it halts/crashes.Point of Failure: When the system halts, the crash occurs precisely at the instruction that attempts to read the persisted variable for the first time in my main() function.Implementation:To isolate the variable from the standard RAM

Hi,Im new to SPC582 my issue is I need to enable ICU at eMIOS0 Channel 22 , I have enabled the pin in the pin map editor and in the GUI there is channel enabling option for only CH 0 to CH 7 as SAIC but I want it for CH 22, Is there any way to enable the CH 22 as SAIC which comes under Group 2. And also if any examples is available that would be great. Hello,I need a Registration key for Teseo-Suite Pro.I send emails to st-teseo-suite-support@st.com twice.I have not received replys. and I have a quaction.I took the car for a test drive to test DR mode.After driving normally, I removed the antenna and drove again.Pink line is Real route.Red lines is Teseo-VICDA Data.Teseo-V1C3DA is fixed to the vehicle so that there is no shaking.There is a big difference between the actual driving route and the DR mode route. Is there a way to correct it?I want to use without WheelTick and Direction signal.

Hello,I have a design with same pinout and package (as LIV4F) that is working with 3.3V from other vendor.Pin 7 is used as VCC_IO and it is connected to 3.3V.The question is, can I replace and put the LIV4F instead?What will happen if pin 7 will get 3.3V (instead of being not connected)?Any chance of harm or malfunction?I don't expect logic issue since I'm working with 3.3V anyway (and no conflict with past pin configuration that was VCC_IO)
