Hello,I'm working on a schematic where an LVDS transmitter (DS90C385AMT_NOPB) connects to a display through a connector. In my design, a 100-ohm termination resistor is placed between the differential pairs TXOUT and RXIN, as shown in the second image below. This matches the configuration in the "16 Grayscale" test pattern figure from the DS90C385A datasheet (Figure 3).Could someone confirm if this is the correct approach for termination? Specifically, is the placement and value of the 100-ohm resistor between TXOUT+ and TXOUT- suitable in this configuration for ensuring proper impedance matching and signal integrity?

Hello,For a project we need to simulate PSI5 sensors.We choose the ST L9663 but it can’t send PSI5 frame. It can only be used to send PSI5 sync pulse to sensor. It can only interface master to slave.I have searched on many website but I can't find a component who can send PSI5 frame.Is there any transceiver who can send PSI5 frame ? I'm trying to perform a remote firmware update, with the bluenrg-lp ota service manager, I record the manager image at the base address 0x10040000 in sequence, i can perform the update without errors via ota, but when restarting the application, i have the debug message that it is jumping to the new image loaded at address 0x10057800, as if everything was fine until then, but after that i have no response from my application, simply it gets stuck, could you help me with this problem?  

Hi, I am trying to connect the STEVAL-BFA001V2B to a siemens ET-200SP IO-Link master. I have flashed the MCU with the STEVAL-BFA001V2_PredMaint_IOL_V1.1.0 using the STM32Cube Programmer. The PLC's IO link configurator connects with the BFA001V2B however is shows an error (0x 1800 - Event ALARM on axis X in SUB1) and (0x 180A - Event ALARM on axis Z in SUB2). I have attached images showing the errors and of the process data being all 0. I would really appreciate any help in solving this issue.   Thank you.

Hello all, I'm new to STM32 and I'm trying to setup a BLE sender test setup from Stractch using this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7f-55e2IR6MThe only difference is that I'm using BlueNRG_2 instead of BlueNRG_MS.I do everything according to the video, however, when I try to run the code on the board it gets stuck in this function:app_bluenrg_2.c -> MX_BlueNRG_2_Init -> hci_init(APP_UserEvtRx, NULL); I would appreciate it if anyone could assist me in finding the problem here.

I purchased the parts of BD682 from Future. And I found the location of the packaging holes, some leaking copper, some exposed iron, and some plastic sealing, I am worried about affecting the corrosion resistance of the material.Could you help suggest whether the parts are good?Thanks,Suri 

Hello all, I'm trying to send 160 2-byte samples through the BLE platform each 10ms ( total bitrate of 256kbps ) to a single peer. I have been trying to modify the code for the HeartRate example project provided by the STM32 to achieve this rate.However, the fastest that I can send the data through this platform is packets of 20 bytes each 10ms through notify. Now my question is that since the nominal rate for the BLE for this board is about 304kbps and my base project is the HeartRate example: - Is this rate achievable? - How exactly can I approach this?   Appreciate all the help that I can get. 

I want to build a gateway that supports BLE and subGHZ frequencies (433 and 915MHz). Is it possible to use BLUENRG-M2SP and S2-LP, or do you have a better solution?What software I can use, STSW-BNRG-S2LP and X-CUBE-SUBG2 or anything else?

Hi,I am trying to install a Lorawan network server on a local computer following the instructions provided here: How to create a LoRaWAN server on local PC (1/2) - STMicroelectronics CommunityI am installing it on a Window 10 machine, and had an error " format: "Failed to create cookie file 'h:/.erlang.cookie': enoent" when ran lorawan-server.bat in Windows command line console (as an administrator). Hello everyone,I bought an X-Nucleo-BNRG2AI board for a project I need to do using Bluetooth. I currently work with the Nucleo L476RG and got the Bluetooth expansion to attach to it.At the moment, I’m facing some difficulties getting it to work. All the material I find is a few years old, and in some forums, it’s mentioned that much of it is no longer valid.Right now, I just want to transmit something via Bluetooth, but I can’t make it work. I’m looking into firmware updates or something similar, but nothing I’ve tried has worked. I’ve followed all the processes described in AN5651, but there’s always some kind of error. I found a forum suggesting the STM32CubeProgrammer, but I also encounter errors when trying to connect with the X-Nucleo-BNRG2AI. If anyone could help me with any updated procedures or something along those lines, I’d appreciate it.BR,Felipe.

Hi,Please help if possible.I have an automotive electronic board which has a BlueNRG-2 device on it and it runs Yocto Linux on its main processor which is connected to the Ble chip via UART interface. I have loaded the the BlueNRG-2 device with DTM firmware hence I can control the chip using hcitool by sending HCI commands over the uart. I have managed to put the device into connectable advertisement or Beacon modes so I can connect to it from my phone using "nRF Connect" or "BLE Scanner" apps. However, from the moment the connection between the phone and BlueNRG-2 device is made, it takes about 30 seconds and the connection drops and I cant connect to it anymore unless I repeat the whole steps again. why the connection drops? I am doing the same thing with STEVAL-ID00BV2 board and noting goes wrong, the connection stays alive until I disconnect it myself.thanks for help.Roosbeh

I am doing g3-PLC test by connecting two board of EVLKST8500GH-2  according to ST G3-Hybrid PLC&RF GUI Quick start guide, but i am not clear test envirionment 1) COM port of PC is connected with ST8500GH-MB or  NUCLEO-G070RB, when i connect with  NUCLEO-G070RB port is recognized but when i connect with ST8500GH-MB, port is not recognized in the PC.   2) I am using 30V(AC) power for Power line because " ST8500 Hybrid PLC&RF Connectivity Development Kit UserManual"  Safety precautions guide of " The kit is intended for use on extra low voltage (ELV): <50 V AC, <75 V DC." but i am not clear this 30V(AC) is enough for PLC. i want to know the level of Power   3) I want to know power line connection between two board EVLKST8500GH-2. serial or pallel ?

Hi,Some time ago I wrote a software with some changes from this library and successfully tested it with the STEVAL-FKI868V1 board and a ST board (STM32F779 EVAL).Now I made my own hardware with a little changes in the microcontroller pins. Communication with the S2-LP via SPI works and I can read and write data to the S2-LP registers. The problem I am facing is that when I send the command "S2LPCmdStrobeTx();" for sending data over the air, I expect that pin 23 of S2LP (GPIO3) goes low like with STEVAL-FKI868V1 Board, but no reaction can be seen in this pin.To make sure the software works, I removed S2-LP chip from my board and connected the SPI lines and  required GPIO of STEVAL-FKI868V1 to my board with wire and saw that the software works correctly with that Board.The question is why the S2-LP won't give me the Interrupt on my board.I also attached the schematic. Thanks for help or suggestions.

Hi I am developing RF transceiver with S2-LPQTR, frequency range 413-479 MHz. Also I bought BALF-SPI2-02D3 which applies to 433MHz impedance matched balun filter.  Based on the mentioned details, I referred to the following schematics for designing the circuit. My main reference schematic is the first one(Figure 4. Suggested application diagram HPM/LPM...) since I planned to use BALF-SPI2-02D3. To determine exact values of various components, I referred to other two schematics (Figure 1. STEVAL-FKI433V2... and Figure 7: S2-LP direct tie and...) However, I still have two questions for designing the circuit. First, I am curious about exact values of components (capacitor, inductor, resistor) for my setting. There are many undetermined values like TBD, NM, or 0. Second, the crystal part is little bit different between the images. The crystal part of first and third images have only capacitor around the crystal. However, the crystal part of second image has various components and more

I want to use this configuration according to the L9663 Datasheet "Trigger via SPI with an upstream data buffer. The microcontroller sends the corresponding SPI command to send a sync pulse. Then, the sync pulse triggers the generator based on the value internally generates appropriate synchronization pulses. "But after I configure the relevant registers, I cannot detect a pulse signal that conforms to the UDB content on the PSI1/2 interface. How should I configure the parameters of the relevant registers? Hello, maybe you have an idea!?!The STEVAL-IHP005V1 is connected to a 12V power supply and a series regulator that makes 3.3V from the same 12V. The LED flashes briefly when switched on and then lights up constantlyorange.The STEVAL-IHP005V1 is connected to a Windows Vista notebook via a USB-RS232-adapter.When I start the GUI on the notebook, select the appropriate COM port and click the "connect" button, the orange LED flashes twice and stays on.But the GUI (STEVAL-IHP005V1) opens a window with the error message "Dongle response timeout".I checked the voltages, the connections and the COM settings.Is this correct? There is nothing in the documentation:Bits per second: 9600Data bits: 8Parity: NoneStop bits: 1Flow control: NoneDo you have any idea why the error message appears and how I can fix it or move forward?Thanks! :)

Hello everyone,I’m seeking guidance on using the STEVAL-USBI2CFT as a voltage shifter (to 3.3V) and a communication bridge between my laptop and an MSP430 IC. According to UM3226, the STEVAL-USBI2CFT uses the FT260Q chip and should not require extra drivers. However, after connecting the board, Windows only registers it as a "USB Composite Device" and no COM port appears. A Python test resulted in the error: "could not open port 'COM3': FileNotFoundError."Also, the provided link to the STSW-WPSTUDIO software leads to a 404 error. Has anyone else faced this, and are there alternatives?Thanks in advance!

Hi, I am starting to learn and use  Bluenrg-2 BCN002-V1 and tried to flash it using the example provided in stsw-bluetile-dk and Nucleo-F411RE. When trying to flash examples, I performed a mass erase and I cannot recover the board anymore i.e. the BCN002 board cannot be detected by ST RF application anymore, there is a constant green LED instead of blue light. Could it be that I have to flash something like bootloader or Ble stack before flashing the example application binaries? Could you please support me to solve this issue? Best regards,Mehrdad
