LVDS transmitter output resistor

I'm working on a schematic where an LVDS transmitter (DS90C385AMT_NOPB) connects to a display through a connector. In my design, a 100-ohm termination resistor is placed between the differential pairs TXOUT and RXIN, as shown in the second image below. This matches the configuration in the "16 Grayscale" test pattern figure from the DS90C385A datasheet (Figure 3).
Could someone confirm if this is the correct approach for termination? Specifically, is the placement and value of the 100-ohm resistor between TXOUT+ and TXOUT- suitable in this configuration for ensuring proper impedance matching and signal integrity?
