I am using the lsm6dso accelerometer I am setting : Full Scale= 2g, ODR=12.5Hz for this setting fast waking, step count is not accurate ( 4 steps out of 10 steps)after that, I changed the setting: Full Scale=2g, ODR= 26Hz for this slow waking, step-count is not gettingplease tell me the accurate calibration settings for getting step count

Hello,I'm trying to use the MotionDI library for a dynamic inclinometer application. My IMU is the LSM9DS1. The returned data from MotionDI_update() is shown below:The values for rotation, quaternion, gravity, and linear acceleration never change, even when the IMU is moved. Hi all,I'am working with a LSM6DSO32, and I try to implement AHRS algorithm to fuse gyro and accel data. In source code I have this lineFusionVector3 gyroscopeSensitivity = { 1.0f, 1.0f, 1.0f, }; // replace these values with actual sensitivity in degrees per second per lsb as specified in gyroscope datasheetSo if I've understood well, for my LSM6DSO32 configure at 500dps, I have a sensitivity at 17.50 mdps/LSB, so mdps is milli degrees per second that's right ? So in my struct I have to replace 1.0f by 0.0175f am I right?Thanks

Hi all,I am using LSM6DSL chip as a pedometer and sensing other stuff like tap detection, tilt detection etc on a wearable device. The pedometer counts are pretty close to accurate when I compare it with other standard devices like the apple watch/ fit bits. But the issue is it is also counting the hand movements as steps for eg: when I am not walking and just moving my the sensor or just picking up something etc. I was wondering if there is a filter of some sort to remove false step counts?Thanks,Kesav

My Senosr board is on the table with no vibration event applied to it. Hello there, I am currently using LIS2DTW12. In the datasheet, it states the accuracy of temperature sensor is 0.8 degree C(typ.), I notice the temperature reading has +/- 3 degree C among 10 LIS2DTW12 units. Is it normal? I also wonder if the LIS2DTW12 temperature sensor reads absolute temperature and has been factory calibrated. Or I need to calibrate the embedded temperature sensor in chamber for every unit.Thanks,-Lei

Hi, regarding the STEVAL-MKI208V1K, what is the purpose of the pins CSX, SDX, OSDO and OCS?In the diagrams of the Data brief available from the web page, it can be seen that those pins actually are not coming from the IIS3DWB pins.I want to connect the STEVAL-MKI208V1K to a breadboard (not using STEVAL-MKI109V3) and I'm not sure what to do with those pins.Also, what is the idea or theory behind giving separate supply to VDD and VDD_IO?Thanks in advance!

Hello,I'm using a IIS3DWB in my design.As indicated in datasheet, RES pins (10 and 11) should be connected to VDD_IO or leave unconnected (Table 1: Pin Description).However, the STEVAL-MKI208V1 have RES pins tied to GND (Figure 1 STEVAL-MKI208V1 board schematic)Could you please tell me how I should connect these pins?Thanks,Pablo

Hello,My company is using since more than one year a combination from HTS221 and stm32f407 uController , I2C is used.The problem is that on some devices i have from the sensor different results.also some sensors give correct output where the others give lower values, where both of them have the same circumstanses. like the same board design and the same uController firmware.in the attachment there are the output data from two sensors.I wonder where the problem could be?We use the follwing adjustment : PD = 1: active mode1Hzother CTRL-REG are disabled, we have activatet the heat register for 4 seconds,but that did not solve the problem.we are very thankful for any help :grinning_face:

Hi, i have a problem with my sensortile. The kit that i have is the STEVAL-STLKT01V1. I think i have done a mess using the SMT32CubeProgrammer and now i have a sensortile that dosen't work or connect to bluetooth. The only things that i can do is to connect it to the Pc Software STM32CubeProgrammer, but i don't know what i have to do for a total reset for the sensortile.Sorry for the question, I'm new to this world.Regards Alex

Hi, have successfully used the library before on an L476, needed more processing power so porting the project to an F746, however, there is a hard fault when using the motion_DI library. breaking the fault don the error message is No source available for "quatErr2EulerErr() at 0x800671c"  the library is initialising, but not running in the main loop, I have increased the stack sizes as well as changed processors. I have also started a new project from scratch and it is still not working. I am using Library version 1.1.0 on x-cube MEMS 1

And could anyone explain me how does the PDM2PCM functions for the mems than ST PDM microphones? I usually find examples of stm32 controllers with MP45DT02 ? and how do we conclude whether the conversion is accurate and PCM are correct values.Thanks in advance.

Hi,We have been using LSM6DSOX in our Pool Alarm Unit.The Device is floating horizontaly in the pool and valid Z axis Acceleration is around 1000mg.We are currently facing a problem that is caused by seldom "glitches" on the Accelerometer values.Device is configured at 52Hz for Both Acc and Gyro.Gyro values seem not to be effected by this glitch.Also, we record video of the device, and there is no external event at the time of the glitch.After 6 "glitch" samples, the sample are normal again.Attached is the excel with the 6 axis logging.You can see the "glitch" samples in yellow.Please advise what can cause this,Thanks,yuval,Lifebuoy.

I use LIS2DW12 with I2C communication.I separate VDD from VDD_IO.When I turn ON VDD_IO (3V3), I have a tension of 2V4 on VDD_IO, why ?Related to this, I have overconsumption (I2C pull-up)I use the scheme of the LIS2DW12 datasheetDo you have a complete scheme with I2C communication for consumption near 1µA ?if not, how can use LIS2DW12 to hace a consumption near 1µA ?Best regardsMciakël Bucher
