I'm running Ubuntu 18.04 and recently purchased the STEVAL-MKI109V3 motherboard and STEVAL-MKI207V1 adapter. I downloaded and successfully installed Unico STSW-MKI109L according to the user manual.In Unico, I select Device Type iNemo Intertial Modules, and from Device Name I select STEVAL-MKI207V1 and the Select Device button. When the popup dialog says "Port not open," I select ttyACM0 from the dropdown box (as shown by dmesg) and when I connect, the error dialog says:"ERROR: The board does not respond. Good morning. This would be for an ST employee, please.If possible, I would like to contact the group responsible for the Sensor webinar coming up in a week or so. I'm looking to find out if there is any support information that I can get before the actual webinar takes place. One of the specific items would be which project download will be used. There appears to be two downloads with conflicting version numbers: en.fp-sns-datalog1.zip and en.stsw-stwinkt01.zip . Also, and if not already planned, it would be nice to see each module (BLE, Serial and WiFi) working as they should, up front and with the ST BLE Sensor app. I can successfully recompile and install each module, connect only with the phone, and can't get any data to transmit to wifi, BLE, file or Watson.  I've been through all of the briefs and user manual but I'm overlooking something and I'd like to find out what that is before the webinar.Thanks,TJM

Hi, Am trying to generate the C-code for the ASC (Acoustic Scene Classification) model from the FP-AI-SENSING1 Pack through Stm32cube mx. But I can see there is changes in the code between existing code and the new code which was generated by me. I dont know whether I have not done the correct procedure in MX. It would be really helpful, if I get some procedure for SensorTile Box (Steval-Mksbox1v1) for the ASC to work in MX, because I can see some of the tutorial videos and data briefs is for the eval board " B-L475E-IOT01A1" not for sensor tile box.As per my understanding, If am generating the C-code from the model from FP-AI-SENSING1, I should get the same code which is already in function pack. There saw that there is no gyroscope in this model, so I dont understand how we can to differentiate between (for example) - stationary mode, when we have g in the X axis and '0' on the other. AND movement so there is g in X axis and '0' on other axis (perhaps movement on one of the axis).how can we tell if we are stationary \ moving in this example.

I am using the industrial IIS2DH accelerometer in our vibration analysis product. I am collected data using the data-ready interrupt. For improving data accuracy I want to perform some calibration on data. I have found the following document. "Getting started with MotionAC accelerometer calibration library in X-CUBEMEMS1 expansion for STM32Cube"Using the below link I have downloaded the library but I didn't found "motion_ac.c". Hi,We are using LIS3MDL in our application and current consumption in Power-Down mode is 0.2mA which is quite high but it should be 1uA as per the datasheet.Any suggestion on why I am unable to achieve 1uA level as mentioned in the data sheet?RegardsSiva

I am reading the 3-axis data while turning on Inverter and cold cathode tube.The 3-axis data is too noisy. Is LIS2DH affected by external noise?Also, How can i reduce the noise on the raw data? (e.g. Exrta sheelding)

Hi,I use Algo Builder to test the sensortile.box, but I can't program the board using the algobuilder software (after I have compiled) in order to test the functionality, even if it seems to be possible to program the microprocessor using directly the STM32CubeProgrammer, and the driver in the device manager seems to be correct. Can anybody help me?

What is happening on vibration data output in time-domain if the low pass filter (LPF2) of iis3dwb was set to 1333 Hz? Does the vibration data output in time-domain cannot show any vibration data of 6.3 kHz frequency? Please advise. Thanks!

Hi, I'm developing my first project on an embedded system, more specifically I'm using the B-L475E-IOT01A board. My idea is to use the MP34DT01 built-in microphone but I'm having a number of problems:BPS audio drivers for the board do not seem to be availablecan't find sample code that uses built-in microphonesI tried to follow a couple of guides but I had no success.Should I use the BSP drivers or do I need to interface directly with the internal DFSDM device? I'm having trouble understanding how to interface with them on the software side of things. Could anyone point me to any guide or other resources?

Posted on June 22, 2016 at 19:45I am using the LIS3MDL magnetometer on a custom PCB I recently designed.  In addition to the sensor, the PCB has an STM32F101 and a HopeRF LoRa radio.  I am measuring current consumption by the LIS3MDL much larger than that stated in the data sheet.  I've also measured higher than stated current consumption on the ST evaluation board.  Has anyone else seen higher than stated values?  Are the datasheet numbers accurate?  FYI I'm using SPI interface and I've tried active high and active low interrupt config as well.  I've also verified DRDY rate of 20Hz.  Thanks!Test &sharp1:  Total board current of 185uA (uP in stop mode with interrupts disabled, radio in sleep mode, LIS3MDL in power down mode)Test &sharp2:  Total board current of 780uA (uP in stop mode with interrupts disabled, radio in sleep mo

I have a project with LIS2DH accelerometer and I want to measure values each 20 seconds, turning LIS2DH off between measurements.So, I tried to turn power on, wait 5ms, write 0x10 to CTRL_REG3 (turn on DRDY on INT1), then 0x1F to CTRL_REG1.Then I wait for pulse in INT1 (and getting it almost immediately) and read data from OUT_X_L to OUT_Z_H. But - all data is zeroes. Writing registers in different direction, i.e. from REG1 to REG6 gives same result.Datasheet for LIS2DH gives no information about how DRDY works (and, for example, which is minimum time allowed between two SPI reads/writes, but I read in datasheet for LIS2DH12 (newer accelerometer), that "In order to be sure to have the first DRDY rising edge synchronous with the selected ODR (avoid condition in Figure 2: "DRDY signal synchronization") set the I1_ ZYXDA bit to ‘1’ before enabling the ODR."No luck.Can you give me an advice how to read valid data from

Hi all, I am currently attempting to extended support to the lsm6ds linux driver(https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux/tree/rpi-5.10.y/drivers/iio/imu/st_lsm6dsx) which supports the ISM330DHCX. It currently supports interrupt based buffering. I'd like to use a software driven trigger to control buffering of this device? Is this possible? The source seems fairly generic in terms of buffer setup, however when viewing /sys/bus/iio/device/iio\:device1 the trigger folder is not found, but scan_elements and buffer are. If someone could educate me briefly on what I have missed Id be greatly appreciative. Kind regards.

I'm using LPS25HB in my card. I can take correct temperature value but I can't draw pressure data as correctly. It show me that my Pressure is approximately 500 hpa but actually my pressure value is approximately 500 hpa. Is there any solution for this problem?

I am using the SensorTile.box that I just received today. I am using the ST BLE Sensor app Version 4.10.0 on my Pixel 4a downloaded from the Google Play Store. I get the same error on my Pixel 1. The blue LED flashes when the attempt to load is being made. It tries for 10 s before the error window appears.

Hi all, Got a divide-by-zero exception whilst porting the API to the ESP32. The error occurs at line ~1960 in vl53l0x_api_core.c in this bit of maths: sigmaEstRef = VL53L0X_isqrt((cDfltFinalRangeIntegrationTimeMilliSecs + finalRangeIntegrationTimeMilliSecs/2)/ finalRangeIntegrationTimeMilliSecs);Here is where finalRangeIntegrationTimeMilliSecs comes from (a few lines before) finalRangeIntegrationTimeMilliSecs = (finalRangeTimeoutMicroSecs + preRangeTimeoutMicroSecs + 500)/1000;All values there are UINT32. It might be a problem with my porting, or how the ESP32 treats rounding, but finalRangeIntegrationTimeMillis = ( 0 + 53 + 500) / 1000 which the platform interprets as 0. Has anyone had this error before?I've fixed this for the time being by checking for a zero value (and setting to 1) before doing the isqrt. I'm trying to detect which product is being carried by crane by using LIS2DH12 for motion detection of steel coil products.  Because of the environmental vibrations or instant shocks created while handling the material in the stockyard I cannot differentiate the interrupts created. As the crane slowly handles the product, I cannot set high threshold and interrupt duration. But this makes the other sensors on the other products interrupt as well. Is there any way to understand continous movement of the object with this sensor? Or any other suggestion?Regards,

Hello dear ST-Forum,I'm currently working on DFSDM and MEMS-Microphone and am trying out the sinc filters. By changing the filter order e.g. from filter order 1 to filter order 3, the values increase dramatically. I have not found any proper calculation how exactly the sinc filter is applied. Does anyone have more information about that?Kind regards

HelloI am using H3LIS100DL for impact detection.Using this register "INT2_THS (36h)" we can set threshold value.I wanted to configure this register for different threshold value but in datasheet they have not mentioned how to set values.Please let me know how to configure this register for different threshold value.For example to set 30 or 60 g threshold, what value should be configured in INT2_THS register
