The typical values of the:- Sensitivity tolerance of the accelerometer- Cross-axis sensitivity/non-orthogonality of the accelerometer and gyroscope- Non-linearity of the accelerometer and gyroscopeI could not find those in the datasheets.Thank you in advance.

I am using STM32CubeIDE with a STM32L471VET micro. I have included the MotionFX library and have 9DOF orientation output working, but I can't seem to get the magnetometer calibration completed. It continuously shows: MFX_MAGCALUNKNOWN even after 5 to 10 min of rotating my development board around at every conceivable angle even making figures of 8 does not seem to work. I have followed the MotionFX documentation carefully. I hope there is someone out there that has got this to work successfully. If so please help me to get the calibration working.

I'm communicating via SPI with an LPS22HB using an FPGA. Is there a minimum time specification between SPI transactions? I'm currently setting CS high for 0.5 SPC cycles between transactions, but this doesn't seem to work.

Hello,I was designing a board with a VL6180 and was surprised that the 0x4F register never uptaded to tell me that a new measurement was finished.So I looked at the 0x4D register to see that it answered me 0x19. Whitch mean I have a VCSEL continuity test error BUT I can start a new measurement.Which is really weird I must admit.So to get a measurement, I send the message 0x01 to the 0x18 register and then I poll the 0x4F register until the "measurement finished" bit is set to 1.But it never happen.I tried to dismantle the VL and put another one but I got the same "error". If someone have an idea about the reasons this error appear,...Note: the VL is powered by a step-down regulator which provide a voltage between 2.8 and 2.9V.Thanks,

Question #1:In my system, I have 3.3V available, so I was planning to use that for AVDDVCSEL & AVDD since it is within the range but the I2C interface will run at 1.8V.The 1.8V seems fine from a Vih/Vil point of view. My concern is around IOVDD and 2V8 mode. Given the above situation, I cannot tell if I need to use USE_I2C_2V8k or not.In DocID031281 Rev 3, Section 5.2, Table 14 on page 23, it talks about IOVDD - but this isn't a pin. To set the wakeup thershold, I use WAKE_UP_THS and for single-tap I use the same functions as the example (https://github.com/STMicroelectronics/STMems_Standard_C_drivers/blob/master/lis2dw12_STdC/example/lis2dw12_tap_single.c). Morever, I set 0x01100000 in CTRL4_INT1_PAD_CTRL, to enable wakeup and single tap interrupts. And when I do that, the bit SINGLE_TAP in STATUS is never at 1, but when I set 0x01000000, it works.

Hello, I'm using the FusionFX library(V2.5) to calculate quaternions and therefore estimate an object position. I'm using an X-NUCLEO-IKS01A3 that has the  LSM6DSO (ACC + Gyro) and LIS2MDL ( Mag). I'm using an 16G scale in acc and 2000dps in the gro, at an ODR of 6667Hz and 100Hz for the Mag and I'm calling the propagate and update function at a rate of 100Hz. Everything works pretty well on fast or slow movements, but when i put my dev board on the table after movement, it starts to drift very slowly no stop. I want to read LIS2DTW12 data using SPI which is also shared with another device, can I use the LIS2DTW12 CS pin as chip select and operate devices one by one.because according to the LIS2DTW12 datasheet:State of CS1: SPI idle mode / I²C communication enabled;0: SPI communication mode / I²C disabledi.e if cs = 1 --> I2C Enabled, read/write operation on another device will disturb the LIS2DTW12 device.

Posted on March 01, 2018 at 11:24Hi,I am struggling with moving from the obsolete LSM303D sensor to the LSM303AGR sensor.I had the LSM303D sensor working correctly in continuous mode with the STM32F1 processor using 4 wire SPI mode.But I cannot get the 3 wire SPI interface to work correctly with either sensor.Concentrating on the LSM303AGR sensor - Currently I have CS_XL and CS_MAG inputs commoned up and driven from a single output of the STM32F1 master device. I assume this is incorrect and the 2 slave select inputs are mutually exclusive in SPI mode?I was hoping that the slave select (CS) was irrelevant as SPI 3 wire interface is more like I2C, but I assume the accelerometer and magnetometer are treated as separate SPI slave devices in the LSM303AGR?I just realized that although all register addresses between the accelerometer and magnetometer are unique, the address for multiple reads are not unique;&nb

I have a battery-based application, so I want to minimize power, by selecting the largest-valued pullup resistor on the CS pin, that will guarantee a high on the input.I cannot calculate this without knowing the maximum input leakage current on the CS input pin, but I cannot find that spec in the datasheet.'How would I find this number?Kevin

Hello, according to the datasheet for the LPS22HH, in Table 3 the temperature sensor operating range is -40C to +85C. Further down, it specifies that the temperature sensor absolute accuracy is +/- 1.5C from 0C to 80C. What is the accuracy from -40C to 0C?Thanks,Derek

Wrote 0x40 to the CTRL1_A register, wrote 0x8C to the CFG_REG_A_M register.I was able to read the data on the accelerometer via I2C communication, but the magnetic sensor cannot read it.How do I change the "Zyxda" bit in the magnetic sensor's STATUS_REG_M to 1?Please tell me.Upon examination, I found that the "Zyxda" bit of the magnetic sensor's STATUS_REG_M did not become 1.There was no error in the I2C communication itself.In addition, I2C communication was performed according to the communication format of LSM303AH.

Hi,I can't find any examples of using commands in the statemachines.I want to create a tilt sensor, by using 2 statemachines, 1 is monitoring x axis, the other z axis.To keep it simple i will add the code for the x axis only . I have two different HW versions of STWIN and there is an analog mic difference; MP23ABS1 vs MP34ABSU. When I test with MP23ABS1, it looks it has some issue that it doesn't output sound data at all. but, the new revision with MP34ABSU hasn't that issue with the same firmware. My questions arewhy STWIN has been updated with a new MIC ; MP34ABSU?Does MP23ABS1 some issue? if it has, let me know what kinds of issues it has.

Hi Sir/Mdm,I tested the EVK with the lowest PPM in clean air was 6ppm yesterday and today I tested again in clean air was 2.4ppm and is fluctuating. When I first got this EVK, it was 0.6ppm which < 1, after testing a few rounds with CO gas, then I won't drop to that point. Appreciate if you could give us some support on this problem, thanks.

Composed 0x40 to the CTRL1_A register, composed 0x8C to the CFG_REG_A_M register. I had the option to peruse the information on the accelerometer by means of I2C correspondence, however the attractive sensor can't understand it. How would I change the "Zyxda" bit in the attractive sensor's STATUS_REG_M to 1? If it's not too much trouble, advise me. Upon assessment, I tracked down that the "Zyxda" piece of the attractive sensor's STATUS_REG_M didn't get 1. There was no mistake in the I2C correspondence itself. Furthermore, I2C correspondence was performed by the correspondence arrangement of LSM303AH.

Hi! I'm struggling to get a BLE connection to my SensorTile.Box throught a Python script. I searched on internet and i found BlueST-SDK for Python. However, this is working just for Linux (as i read on Docs). I tried several time installing "Bluepy" and "BlueST" libraries using "pip instal -name-" command. As result, several errors occurred. What can i do? Is there any possibility to use it on Windows?
