lsm6dso sensor generates significant motion interrupt when a change in user location is detected. It generates an interrupt when the difference between the number of steps counted from its initialization/reset is higher than 10 steps. So it uses step counter. I will use this sensor on car. So I can not take interrupt, when the car changes location. Since there is not any steps. Is there any way to detect significant motion interrupt without using step counter in lsm6dso sensor ?

I'm using the H3LIS331DL high-g accelerometer. Sir i'm trying to communicate LPS25HB sensor with STM32F072RB board but the sensor is not acknowledging and to make sure i have connected RTC DS3231 it is working properly. I have checked clock speed with 100khz and 400khz also, pull-up i have connected , GPIO also i have tested, Voltages is also i have tested Lps25hb sensor is needed more than 2.10 v(tested) ?

Hi,I'am working on a LSM6DSO32, I've read the datasheet and source code example here. But I don't understand the utility of FIFO. In wich case to use FIFO rather than raw register like OUTX_L_G (22h) and OUTX_H_G (23h) for raw X axis angular rate for example ?

I have lsm6dso imu. I want to use wake up interrupt for two different thresholds at the same time,for example I want to give wake up threshold 1g for interrupt 1,I want to give 500 mg for interrupt 2. And duration will be different.I change the value of WAKE_UP_THS, WAKE_UP_DUR registers while configuring second interrupt.Is it possible to use two thresholds at the same time ? How can I do it ?

Hi,I am trying to calibrate my IMU on a custom board using X-CUBE-MEMS package. However there is no support for the LSM9DS1 part. I've seen on the community that the alternative for the Accelerometer+Gyroscope is the LSM303AGR library. However, this only offers support for the I2C bus. In my custom board, the IMU is connected to the uC through a SPI bus.Is there any alternative?Also, which library should I use to calibrate the magnetometer?Thanks in advance,Pedro Machado

Why did you guys remove the feature of resetting the timer for LSM6DSO IMU? It was available in LSM6DS3 by setting AAh in TIMESTAMP2_REG (42h).How do we reset the timestamp value in FIFO (LSM6DSO chip)?

I recently purchased VL53L1X ToF laser ranging sensor and for the last couple of weeks I am trying to make it work. Hello support team,We are decided to use your ISM330DHCX for our next products. So we are ongoing to describing the FW requirement to the FW team in our organization.However, I’m not sure we should use the USER OFFSET registers in device for the offset calibration. I think some of specs as described in the d/s (ie: LA_So, LA_Cx) are assumed with use the USER OFFSET registers. Is it correct? Or, even not use the USER OFFSET registers but the specs are guaranteed? I think for the offset calibration, the USER OFFSET registers should be used but some colleagues believe no use the USER OFFSET registers should be ok and the offset value can store in the memory in the MCU and use for the calibration by the MCU at each time as to decide the angles.Please give us your advice.Best regards,Izumi Maruyama

Hello,I am using the Vl6180 in continuous mode. The gpio1 was configured as a rising edge. An interrupt is triggered when a new sample is ready.I'm trying to use the gpio1 for singleshot mode. Unfortunately so far without success.Who has experience with it, or is the gpio1 only intended for continuous mode?

Hi, we have designed a custom PCB with the LSM9DS1 as IMU, we are receiving data from the accel, mag, and gyro, in the case of the accel I think is easier to know if the measure is ok (we must get 1G in the z-axis), but how could we validate if the data of the magnetometer is correct? , is there any expected value? we are not using an ST microcontroller to interface with the sensor.Thanks
