Hi,There is a typo in in the datasheet of the ILPS22QS datasheet: DS13431 - Rev 3.Table 19 on page 32 states that default value of CTRL_REG2 is 00h.But on page 39, chapter 9.7 CTRL_REG2 bit EN_LPFP has a default value of 1 resulting in 10h  I hope that the page 39 is correct, rather than table 19...

Hello everyone, I am working with the lsm6dsr sensor. How can I solve the position information or how much I move with this sensor? I am looking at projects with examples on github, but I could not find how to solve the directions, how much the sensor moves, etc. with this sensor. I would be glad if you can help.

Hi, I'm developing a project with a NUCLEO-WB55RG and I need to to communicate with a STEVAL-MKI197V1. I'm using the CUBE IDE v1.13.1 and the X-CUBE-MEMS1 v10.0.0. But I'm having a problem when trying to initiate the library calling LSM6DSOX_Init function the program gives me a Hard Fault. I'm trying to use a SPI to communicate with the module.Is there any examples I can use as guide?

VDD is connected to VDD_IO and power is always connected to 3V battery (even when device is turned off). We are using SPI-communication and reading/setting registers works fine. It is just that I can't achieve anything near 1uAmp power down mode current consumption as stated by the datasheet even if setting PM0-PM2 to 0 (i.e. register 0x20 to 0x07) to power down the unit. The unit keeps consuming around 50uAmps.Any ideas what might be missing here? thanksOlov#h3lis200dl-power-down-mode

Hi,I have designed a circuit with the LSM6SDOX.It is operating via the I2C BUS and the Gyroscope and Accelerometer are sending data. I have also managed to configure Single and Double Tap detection, however it is the tap detection where I have an issue.When I single tap, it works and triggers INT1 on the Microcontroller, when I double tap, it also works and triggers INT2, however the double tap also triggers the single tap at the same time.The registers are configured as follows in the function below.Please see a screen capture from my Oscilloscope attached. Yellow is the Single Tap, while Blue is the Double Tap. Hopefully it will be self explanatory.Can anyone point me in the right direction on how I stop INT1 from triggering when INT2 is detected?Thanks.  

Hi, I would like to ask for some clarification about LSM6DSO's sensor hub features.1. I am considering mode 2 to connect two sensors to LSM6DSO and LSM6DSO will communicate with MCU in i2c interface. In this case, when connecting two sensors, say LI2MDL and LPS22DF, to LSM6DSO,  would I connect them to LSM6DSO's MSDA and MSCL in typical i2c bus connection with corresponding optional resistors, if needed? 

 I run into some technical challenges during the integration process of STEVAL-MKI193V1 with the nrf52-dk development kit. Brief Overview of the Setup:· STEVAL-MKI193V1 is powered with a 3.3V supply for VDD, VDDIO, and CS pins.· CS pin is connected to a 3.3V supply· SDx and SCx pins are grounded.· SDA and SCL pins use a 5k ohm pull-up resistor to 3.3V.· All other pins are currently unconnected.Issues Faced:1. After connecting the sensor to the nrf52-dk development kit and subsequently to a computer via USB, we are unable to detect the sensor or receive any data from it.2. At times, the program crashes and stops immediately, which means the terminal stops outputting any information, after or during the TWI initialization function.The nrf52-dk works with other sensors which means the problem should be on STEVAL-MKI193V1.Concerning the so

Hi there, The LIS2MDL Application Note (AN5069) states that the min and max values for each axis needed to run the self-test can be found in the datasheet. However, there is no information in the datasheet. The application note of the LIS3MDL, on the other hand, provides all values. Could someone please advise which values to use for the self-test of the LIS2MDL? Best regards

Good morning,I want to use the ILPS28QSW to measure pressure and detect water.I use the development board (STEVAL-MKI223V1K) to test the ILPS28QSW.Measuring the pressure works perfectly.I am currently working with Qvar, but i do not yet fully understand what result i should expect.When I connect the STEVAL-MKE001A I get the following Qvar data:LSB mV °C-4423186 -10.38 21.55-4480098 -10.52 21.55-4587456 -10.77 21.56-4570778 -10.73 21.56-4558559 -10.70 21.55What kind of data do I expect? Hello, I'm experimenting with algobuilder, motionFX and IKS01A3 + SMK1229AAA.Btw, very cool app for investigation.My goal is to obtain vertical speed. As motionFX provide gravity vector with magnitude 1 (let's call it G) and linear acceleration vector (let's call it A).I computed the vertical acceleration with the dot product A.G which leads toAx * Gx + Ay * Gy +Az * GzIt looks like this method gives the expected result: I get the "same" curve for the "same" vertical movement whatever the orientation of the device and whatever the direction of the movement. (I used quotes for "same" because I'm moving the device by hand ie the movement is not an exact reproduction of the previous one). However, it seems that there's an offset in result which depends on the orientation. Is there any function I can use to calculate the yaw and pitch directly from the IMU? Or do I need to find the quaternion(SFLP) and then calculate Euler's angle on my own?

Hello Everyone,I am using ISM330DLC and able to read X,Y,Z and motion FX library in my application (Gyroscope) to get Eluer angle's and here is my doubt that before giving the senor raw data to the FX library, we supposed to do the gyroscope calibration or the FX library will handle calibration?

Hi, I'm using MotionFX library v3.0.0, even if i do compass calibration, yaw value is still drifting some times. do I need to use MotionMC library to get better results?

Hi Experts,I am using lis2dw12 accelerometer connected to esp32s3 and recently have got a situation which is blocking for esp32s3 to read status registers of accelerometer when LIR =1 (latched mode). I put accelerometer on stationary  mode and routing the intruppt to INT1 which resets my esp32. Interrupt is working fine but when I want to read tap_source or wakeup_source or in general ALL_INT_SRC ( not pulling them. only one time) to detect the reset reason on my esp32 side, It will be hanged sometimes until esp32 watchdog happens and from that point the status register are readable since i2c is reinitiated I guess. This video is really good, and details how to integrate the IKS01A3 with the NUCLEO-WL55JC.Beyond this, there is no documentation re what other expansion boards can integrate with the NUCLEO-WL55JC.In fact other expansion boards explicitly indicate the specific boards they do integrate with. And none of them indicate NUCLEO-WL55JC.To make the NUCLEO-WL55JC useful, it will require expansion boards. Is this info somewhere? Is there a roadmap?

GreetingsI am trying to read from the FIFO of the LIS2DW12. What confuses me, is that reading through the datasheet, there are only registers which indicate the number of unread samples in the FIFO (FIFO_SAMPLES (2Fh)), and a control register FIFO_CTRL (2Eh). What I am expecting, are dedicated registers from the conventional OUTPUT registers which a device like the LSM6DSOX has. The LIS2DW12 does not possess such registers, thus what address do I do a read from, that will be able to provide the 32 samples it is able to hold in its FIFO? Will it be the conventional OUTPUT registers?Any help would be appreciated.Thank you.

I am trying to configure a LSM6DS3 to capture Tap events in the FIFO similar to how Unico does. i.e. I press "Continuous to FIFO" button (to enable a new capture), then tap the sensor, and the acceleration of the tap event appears on the screen (after being read from the FIFO).I used Unico to derive my configuration. Hi,I want to know the difference between IIS3DWB and ISM330DLC.Why we are calling IIS3DWB as vibration sensor while ISM330DLC has accelerometer inside with the same specifications as in IIS3DWB? Which is better in monitoring the vibration in motors?Thanks

I want to let the LIS2DH12 FIFO fill and wrap freely and then at a point in time access the history (LIS2DH12 contents) in a particular manner.  I want to first read the newest 15 samples (in any order) and then read the oldest 15 (in any order).  I need to compare the average of the older 15 to the average of the newer 15.  Can this be done?Background ...I am designing a camera and I'm using a sensor that doesn't have anti-shake.  I've included an LIS2DH12 on the PCB.  The theory is that I can look through the acceleration data and detect shake (motion jerks).  If I see the new readings average is significantly different from the old average then I will know a jerk has happened.  I will keep taking captures from the sensor until I see that there were no jerks during the capture. I tried just averaging the acceleration vector magnitude (sum of squares) across all samples and use a threshold as a jerk detection.
