Hi How to implement BLE [X-NUCLEO-BNRG2A1] Mesh on Nucleo-F401 and Nucleo-L433 boards?

Hi all,We would like to set BUILD_IN_SOURCE to false when building the two cores on the stm32h747 along with passing some other cmake options, but I don't see anywhere to change settings like that in CubeMX. Right now, we are just editing mx-generated.cmake by hand to set those options and to add more to each ExternalProject call after CMAKE_ARGS and restoring the file every time CubeMX overwrites it.How do we pass -DOPTIONs to each ExternalProject? How would we set BUILD_IN_SOURCE (and why is it defaulted to true?) ?Thank you

Ubuntu 23.10Tried to load an older project in 6.12.0, CubeMx Asked to convert or continue. Selecting continue.IT start to unzip the tarball and then stops. cube has no error screen, but the log shows as followsUpdating to CubeMX 6.12.1 yields  the  same result. I can open the project generated by STM32CubeMX normally, but when I try to open it through the folder, it becomes unresponsive and keeps lagging. Why does this happen, and what can I do to fix it?

Hello everyone, I have the following question: when, as in the attached image, you see a peripheral like the USART1 in yellow (in conflict with other peripherals), is it still possible to use it? I ask this information because I am looking for a NUCLEO card that best meets my specifications and I want to avoid buying a card for which I can not use the peripherals I need to the fullest.

Hello, I'm working on a project using the STM32F429I-DISC1 board and need to implement CAN communication. I'm using TouchGFX for the GUI, and when I generate the code, only CAN2 is available as an option. CAN2 is mapped to pins PB12 (CAN2_RX) and PB13 (CAN2_TX), but according to the board schematic, these pins are already connected to USB_OTG_HS_ID and USB_OTG_HS_VBUS. Is there any way that I can use CAN with this type of project? I see no other alternate pins. FMC and LTDC are taking up all the other options. Thank you. 

I like to use the CubeMx 6.14.1 generated code (up2date firmware packages) to use DAC 1+2 with GPDMA in circular mode (Standard-Request-Mode)The 1st thing that makes me wonder: Although I selected "Standard Request Mode" in CubeMX a configuration for Linked-ListMode is generated. I'm working on a project that needs both TouchGFX GUI and CAN communication. After configuring my STM32F429 with TouchGFX, I'm unable to enable CAN1 in STM32CubeMX. From what  I understand, CAN2 is a slave/dependent peripheral that requires CAN1 to be active, so I need CAN1 functioning first. If I create a can task with CAN2 it does not work (Loopback mode), and if I enable CAN1 the display will stop working.Is there a recommended pin configuration that allows both TouchGFX and CAN to coexist?Has anyone successfully implemented both TouchGFX and CAN on the F429?Thanks!

I would like to use ADC1_IN15 and ADC1_IN16 in STM32U073MCT6 for measuring voltage and current.However, it says that it is available if sequencer set to not fully configurable for Sequencer on parameter settings.I will do anything with sequencer. I am just measure the voltage value with adc.when I select the 'set to not fully'  parameter, after that,  error occurs in ADC_Regular_ConversionModewhat can I do? for just measure the adc value?  

The code for USART6 is not generated by STM32CubeMX tool for STM32F207ZGT6 MCU. I am trying to generate the baremetal code. I have created a default IOC file for this MCU, and configured USART6 as Ascychronous mode. After this I wanted to configure the clock for the USART, but the clock configuration is not visible for USART6.I tried generating the code after this, this step was successful. However, I don't find any code related to USART eg., initialization, RX/TX functions.  I have tried configuring the USART6 for Synchronous mode, this also doesn't generated the USART code.I have aswell tried the other USART/UART interfaces for Asynchronous and other modes, the result is the same. Clock configuration not visible, and the related code is not generated. Can you please let me know if any additional configuration to be done in addition.

I cannot find the lwIP component for FreeRTOS in the latest STM32MX options.I installed the package FreeRTOS from the package install STMicroelectronics tab but lwIP is not available nor do I see and option to install the package.Can this be installed locally? Do I have to integrate the hard way?

I'm trying the example for STEVAL-STWINBX1 but when i use cubemx/cubeide example selector for STEVAL-STWINBX1, i only see 3 BLE and 1 NFC example but the SDDataLogFilex is missing.Is this normal ? How can i get the SDDataLogFilex example ?

Hi all,I am currently using the Nucleo-H723ZG and having difficulties with the clock management using version 1.12.1 of the stm32h7 cubeMx package.The first symptom I encountered was that my USART2 baudrate was three times lower than expected. A few researches led me to posts where similar issues where described and supposed to be patched in 1.12.1 as in this post.Digging a bit more on the subject, I noticed that HAL_RCC_GetPCLK1Freq(); and HAL_RCC_GetPCLK2Freq(); were both returning very strange values. Both functions output 429687488 which is way to high considering that STM32CubeMX caps the value at 137.5Mhz in the GUI. Following on this I got the following results:HAL_RCC_GetHCLKFreq() -> 859374976HAL_RCC_GetSysClockFreq() -> 1718749952which doesn't look wright at all...Am I missing anything here ? I'm trying to use the DMA engine to drive a GPIO output port, with each update triggered by a timer to achieve a particular waveform. It's trying to run, but I'm getting a TEIF (transfer error flag) and not seeing anything on the GPIO pins. I can't figure out where the problem is.My targets are:1. Target Dest GPIO Port F (all 16 bits)2. TIM4_CH2 (DMA1 -> Channel 2 -> Stream 3). Note that I also have TIM4_CH2 routed to an alternate pin function so I can view the timing, and it is working correctly.3. Hello,I need to download the STM32Cube FW_L0 V1.12.3 package to start a new project but the connection is impossible.When I click on the "Enter myST account information" on the STM32CubeMX tool there is no action.I did not have any issue to download the STM32CubeMX tool.How can I solve this issue?I am blocked, can I download this package from the web site?Best regardsMich

Hi, I’m using STM32CubeMX to configure peripherals and IAR Embedded Workbench for debugging. However, I’ve noticed that whenever I regenerate the code using CubeMX, the application code I previously wrote in IAR gets erased.Is there any setting or configuration in CubeMX that prevents it from overwriting my application code when I regenerate code after making configuration changes?
