Dear ST team,Currently, I'm testing SPC560P50L5 MCU with AutoDevKit Studio, and it is going well by importing the sample project. I have noticed that I can enable "User ADC Regular Conversions" in "Application Configuration." Now, I'm trying to control the motor's speed with a potentiometer. So, I enable GPIO-E2, which corresponds to the ADC0_AN[5] pin. Then I generate the code. After that, I can't find how to get that ADC reading in the main.c.Please help me to suggest on it to get the ADC reading from E2 GPIO. Moreover, I declare the variables (uint16_t Bus_Voltage and uint16_t Temp) in the main.c and I would like to assign it as the Bus voltage value and Temperature value from on board NTC. But I can't find the API or functions in the files to call to get those values. For example, in SDK6.3.2, I can use Bus_Voltage = VBS_GetAvBusVoltage_V(&BusVoltageSensor_M1._Super);Temp = NTC_GetAvTemp_C(&TempSensor_M1);so, please help me on it how to get those Bus voltage and T

We are currently using the AEKS MCU-SPC5 LNKU Kit to debug our custom board. However, we are encountering a "launching error" when attempting to connect to the board via SPC5 Studio. For your reference, we have attached the error image below.We would like to understand whether any specific debug configuration is required within SPC5 Studio for successful debugging.Upon investigating the issue, we came across information suggesting that a PLS UDE software license may be required. Dear,I am trying to setup a channel of the EMIOS into DAOC mode. I walked through an example of using PWM, but I am confused on why in the EMIOS setup i can only set the channels to SAIC (ICU) or OPWFMB (PWM). I tried to manually set the MODE bitfields of emios according to the reference manual by: emiosdp->emiosp->CH[channel].C.B.MODE = 0x01; but any ingeration like that crashes the debugging. I am aiming to setup 36 channels of the EMIOS to SAIC and 7 channels to DAOC for my functionality. Can You please guide me on how to achieve that? Kind regards,TurboMonkey

There are two examples in the link above from the uploaded data between points 84 and 87 and between points 759 and 763. The settings are standard for the firmware, only parameter 1303 has been changed from 1 to 0.2.

While researching the GNSS module for my project, I got somewhat confused about the power connection of the LIV4F module due to inconsistent information in the manuals. The general recommendation is to run at 1.8V for optimal power consumption, but my interface is running at 3.3V. In the evaluation board manual (UM3212), there's a 3.3V VCC_IO on pin 7 for communication and 1.8V VCC pin 8 for powering the module which would easily allow this set up. In the hardware manual (UM3004) for the module however, pin 7 is marked as reserved - which means there's no separate VCC_IO and I would need to level shift all the communication channels when running at 1.8V. I was hoping you could clarify whether pin 7 is available as VCC_IO or not?

 Hello,I am trying to program the SPC563M64 microcontroller using the UDESTK programmer and UDE software.Unfortunately, the JTAG interface cannot establish a connection with the MCU and I keep getting errors.What I have tried so far:Carefully checked all JTAG connections (TDI, TDO, TCK, TMS, TRST, and RESET).Verified voltage levels on the board and programmer using a voltmeter and logic analyzer; signals look correct.Tested the crystal oscillator with both 8MHz and 16MHz crystals to rule out clock issues.Set the boot mode pins according to the datasheet.Double-checked power and ground wiring; no issues found.Current Problem:Despite all these checks, the JTAG connection still fails and UDE gives errors such as “cannot identify device,” “flash not accessible,” or sometimes “CHK Fatal Error.”If anyone has had a similar experience or can suggest a solution, I would really appreciate your help.Thank you!

Hi,I am working with an AEK-MCU-C4MLIT1, and trying to debug using the debugger AEK-MCU-SPC5LNKA through the JTAG port. I did a very simple code because all I am interested in now is to ensure that the debugger works properly. The debugging session seems to start properly, as no errors or interruptions occur during the starting phase. The problem is that "Peripherals" and "Memory" are complitely empty while the debug session is running. At the beginning of every debug session the following message shows up: "Break at address "0x404100" with no debug information available, or outside of program code." May it be related to the problem I am encountering?. What I could do? Thanks.

Dear all,Currently, I'm trying to test the SPC560P50L3 MCU for a Motor Control application. I know that I can do it easily by clicking on "import samples from application library". However, every time I try to create the project manually by adding the components like the screenshot below, I always face a lot of errors. I noticed that even though I set up the pins in "SPC56xx Motor Control Component," nothing is updated in the pin MAP view, which is not like in the MCSDK versions. In MCSDK, we set up a lot of things in the GUI, like PWM pins, ADC pins, and so on. After that, we can see it also in the CUBE MX after the code generation. However, SPC5 studio is not like that. I'm not sure whether I'm doing something wrong or not. Please correct me if I'm wrong.I would like to know if there is any step-by-step document or manual to create a custom motor control project in SPC5 Studio. Thanks and regards,Agga

I received the automated email to my first request like others, BUT it has the following warning: "Attention: Sender not authenticated". Is there something i need to do? I am currently working on configuring the ADC using the CTU module. However, I’m facing some issues. Can anyone please guide me on how to configure the ADC with CTU, or share some sample code? I'm using the SPC560P50L board with the SPC5Studio IDE.

I'm trying to connect to SR5E1-EVBE7000P using JLINK , but all methods failed. Here's what I tried

I had a fine working setup with BMS63 for some hours. Than cell 12 showed 0V and the fault light in the ISO SPI came up. A short measurement showed, the cell was indeed empty (I am testing with very old cells). After replacing the cell cell 12 still shows 0V, and the fault light is still on. If I measure with the testpins on the BMS63EN itself, I can see that there is a cell voltage. So something went wrong with the BMS63EN I think.  Do I need to reset the error/fault? In the manual its stated that software diagnostics need to be run in such case. But..how? And shouldn´t that be all reset after a complete disconnect and new init?  

Hi, I am working on a project generated from AutoDevKitStudio-2.2.1, with few SPC58ECxx applications. Able to generate, build and run using the AutoDevKitStudio, and Makefile is auto generated in the project folder.I am using DiscoveryPlus development board with SPC58ECxx MCU. When I try to execute the "make all" command in WSL (ubuntu 20.04.6 LTS), it generate error:After run "make clean" (remove .dep and build folders successfully) , it generate error:PATH already pointing to the correct directory in the generated Makefile:ppc-freevle-eabi-gcc.exe is present in the directory above. Is the gcc compiler in the PATH is for window environment? Do we need a different gcc compiler for the linux environment? Kindly advise. Please help me to share the relevant document or sample project which has a working Makefile with this environment. ThanksAJ

I recently bought the STEVAL-TTM002V1 along with the AEK-MCU-SPC5LNKU debugger since it was mentioned support for SPC56 would be available before 2024. However, I haven't been able to get the AEK-MCU-SPC5LNKU debugger to work with the SPC56.I'm wondering whether the support for SPC56 debugging with the AEK-MCU-SPC5LNKU been officially released?If support is available, could someone guide me how to get started with debugging the SPC56 using the AEK-MCU-SPC5LNKU? Or should I use SPC5-UDESTK only for now?Should I use AEK-MCU-SPC5LNKU or AEK-MCU-SPC5LNK? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I received a Vespucci Dev Board from Future Electronics that has a Teseo LIV4F on it. I am currently trying to update it to output the RMC and VTG messages at a 10 Hz Output. I was able to set the 10 Hz rate with the following:$PSTMSETPAR,1303,0.1$PSTMSAVEPAR$PSTMSRR (Reset Chip)This worked to set it to update at 10 Hz.I then used the following to limit the messages incoming to only VTG and RMC.$PSTMSETPAR,1201,50$PSTMSAVEPAR$PSTMSRR (Reset Chip)This worked to limit the messages to only those, but now there is not a new line between each VTG and RMC message. The new line only comes after both messages are received as shown by the following image of my terminal viewer.  Any help to get the new line to send between each message is appreciated!
