Hello everyone,My goal is to record audio from one MP34DT05-A microphone via SAI PROTOCOL in an STM32F446 Nucleo Board. In resume, I receive data from microphone via DMA, then I make the transformation via PDM2PCM Library and write the buffer into an SD CARD via SDIO.I'm using STM32Cube IDE and I can see that the two buffers (input SAI data and output PDM2PCM data) are always being updated with values. Also, I confirmed that all the values are written into the SD with no missing values.I tried to replicate the code from "Microphone_Streaming" Stm32 examples (also made in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BjTj1XXpjBU. But the result is always looking like this graph below. It seems like the microphone never respond to any higher sound... 

Hello all.I would like to ask how to calculate dB from a data recorded by a MEMS microphone.I currently use the MP34DT04 on the SensorTile Kit. I checked the SensorTile can record sound with the microphone, and store a wav data file in MicroSD.In the .wav file, there are chunk of data and, of course, there are sound level data. Then, I would like to calculate dB data from the sound level data. How can I calculate?If the sound level data is 16 bit, the data would be in between -32768 and 32768. Is the digit can be mapped to full scale sensitivity? The sensitivitiy means the parameter in the datasheet. In the case of the MP34DT04, the sensitivity is in the range of -26dB to 120 dB.I also wonder what the description in the page 6 of the datasheet means. It says "Duty cycle: min = 40% max = 60%". Is it related to the dB calculation?Please take care yourself first, and looking forward to the answers.

Hello,I'm designing a custom board with a LIS2DW12 accelerometer for motion detection. I want to use INT1 to send a signal to the MCU when it detects movement, which should wake up the whole system. The accel supports both i2c & SPI communication but I intend to use SPI. I would like to verify how I plan to make my connection between the accelerometer and MCU. Please refer to the images below.

1- Is there a permanent memory in LSM6DSOX for machine learning? In other words, does the ".ucf" file that we load in case of power off or reset become permanent?2- Can we load the ".ucf" file without using "STEVAL-MKI109V3"?3- Can we load the ".ucf" file using I2C communication? Thank You.    

Hi,I am working on a custom ISPU code for LSM6DSO16IS and I want to generate interrupts on INT1 and INT2. I checked all the examples in x-cube-ispu/Ispu/ism330is_lsm6dso16is at main · STMicroelectronics/x-cube-ispu generates an interrupt only on INT1.Is it possible to generate interrupts on INT1 and INT2 at the same time? Thanks a lot :)Chen

I am looking at the LSM6DSV16X MLC examples in the MLC Git Repo.I am confused by some of the register settings. For example, in lsm6dsv16x_six_d_position.h  const ucf_line_t lsm6dsv16x_six_d_position[] = { {.address = 0x10, .data = 0x00,}, {.address = 0x11, .data = 0x00,}, {.address = 0x01, .data = 0x80,}, // many lines deleted {.address = 0x02, .data = 0x31,}, {.address = 0x08, .data = 0x8E,}, // PAGE_ADDRESS: Address 0x8E not in the data sheet  I cannot find the address (0x8E) in the data sheet. I'm obviously missing something in my understanding.Any insights, guidance would be appreciated

Hello everyone, I have an ASM330LHH mounted on my selfmade board with stm32f405. The ASM330LHH works well except for the data sent by the gyroscope over the Z axis. This data is not stable at all. It wobbels very badly, quickly and with long intervals. The data around the X and Y axes is fine. Posted on February 19, 2018 at 17:42Hi all,I've tried several time to get in contact with the ST Online Support (http://www.st.com/content/st_com/en/support/online-support.html  and then the Submit Request button)  but every time I've experienced an error into an unknow 'Serena Business Manager Log In ' it give me all time Invalid User ID or Password (note I've did the login to the ST support page with success).I've no idea how to get in contact with the support team then I'm writting here, sorry if this may be not the right place to do that.just to know if others have same trouble or not.Thanks in advance.Best RegardsFabio

I'm interested in integrating multiple ST IMU(6 or 9 axis) sensors to my project. However, all IMUs will be connected in serial to simplify electrical circuit design so each IMU should has its own I2C address. Pls recommend several ST IMUs either 6 or 9 axis so I can test and connect them only by I2C bus. THX!

I would like to change the state of the INT_DRDY of LPS22DF. I have tried to change the value of INT_H_L bit in register CTRL_REG3 (12h), but it has no (immediate) effect. Is it necessary to activate the pin? I have also tried different values in CTRL_REG4 (13h), without effect.Thank you.

Hello,I want to use LSM6DSM, so I got the dev-kit and tested it out.Now I decided to use this sensor and was looking for the symbols in Altium, but it is NRND, so I double checked in ST Micro web site if it was NRND, but it is still Active.As I am going to use this sensor now, I would like to make sure of guaranteed longevity. I couldn't find this in the longevity page.   

Hi guys,This has likely been covered before so please feel free to point me to it.I'm trying to set up the LSM6DSOX Pedometer to store count to FIFO, but having no luck.I am not using the Library, as it is not easily ported to my uC.Would anyone be able to highlight for me the registers I need to set up for basic operation, so that I can tinker from there?I have been able to set up the pedometer to interrupt, but not write to FIFO.I'd also be interested in the steps to read from the FIFO, but imagine that this will be easier once I'm writing correctly..Thanks,Ben

I am using the chip ASM330LHH, when I write 0X40 to register 0X10, I can read the value 0X40 that I wrote, but when I write 0X60, I can't read 0X60, what's going on?

Dear SirWe are Interfacing STmicro part no MP23DB01HP which is a MEMS MIC with PDM output. We are interfacing this MIC with STM32F105RB microcontroller as it has I2S port.We are unable to find any library for this and how to calculate all the parameters required. How to convert PDM to PCM in STM32F1.Our main aim is to find DBm of sound level using the MICKindly provide us support as we had already integrated all the hardware and after that its not working  

I am new to a lot of this and could use some help.  I recently started a new job and my first project is reliability for one of our bread and butter products.  I am evaluating better bearings, seals, etc. and am going to use the Proteus mounted on the equipment to monitor motor vibration.  I have everything mounted and I can watch the sensor outputs from the app on my phone but I really need to be able to use the USB connection to connect the Proteus to my laptop so I can log the data.  Is there a desktop program that I am just not seeing?  I can't get my laptop to recognize the Proteus when connected via USB.  I am hoping to only use USB and not the battery.  Is there an expert out there that can give me a hand?  Thank you! 

I tried all 3 available demos: default, FP-AI and Datalogger.At last I flashed the original default demo back. I am conducting research on robot control, and to handle data obtained from the LSM6DS3H embedded in the robot, I want to understand how acceleration and angular velocity are measured. Specifically, I would like to learn about the internal structure of the accelerometer and gyroscope within the LSM6DS3H. My general understanding is that the structure consists of a mass connected to other parts by springs, and acceleration and angular velocity are measured based on voltage changes due to the compression and extension of these springs. Hello  I have my oven custom board in which I used accelerometer (LSM6DSLTR), magnetometer (IIS2MDCTR) and STM32L4 series controller. Initially I tried to get north heading through magnetometer but due to external noise some time I am getting proper north heading but some time getting wrong orientation. I tried soft Iron and hard iron compensation but due to variable soft iron some time I am getting wrong north heading. I was trying to use e-Compass library but still don't get proper orientation. I have following two questions. 1) Can we use e-Compass library for custom board in which LSM6DSLTR accelerometer and IIS2MDCTR magnetometer is used. 2) I am using my custom board in very noisy environment in which standalone magnetometer is not capable to calculate proper north heading. I also used hard iron and soft iron still getting wrong north heading. so is it possible to calculate proper north heading using accelerometer and magnetometer fusio

HI,Is there any way to reset SFLP "Game vector" readings at runtime, once SFLP enabled?For instance, after few minutes of SFLP run, it reports (after quaternion to Euler conversion) YAW: 1.5, PITCH: 0.5, ROLL: 0.1. And I'd like to reset Yaw to 0 (zero). Is there any way to do so on chip (manipulating offsets, "soft" algorithm reset etc.)?Surely it is possible to use external matrix to compensate for the above in software but maybe there is some "undocumented" way to ask SFLP to do the same? Thanks
