Hi,We need to pre-program a large mount of STPMIC25APQR offline.So we would design a minimum system to program this device.My question is we only need to program this chip, which pins should be must. we would like to leave all other pins floated(not used). Could all the  LDOs and BUCKs not powered as we don't use them in programming. 

Would like to enquire if there is a qualification report for ESDA15P60-1U1M with the list of qualification tests done. Thanks

Hi All,We are making controller for 3 phase heater. It is ON/OFF controller, with heater in delta configuration with mains 400 VAC (phase to phase voltage).Heater is always connected to one phase, while other two are controller with ST's BTA41-800BRG triacs. Problem arised during LVD pre-testing. According to the test 13.2 Electric strength - Part: Electronic disconnection from EN 60730-1 standard voltage from the Table 12 is applied between input and output. Table 12 says that for electronic disconnection, two times the maximum working voltage shall be applied. In our case (400 VAC + 10%) * 2 = 880 VAC voltage is applied for one minute. Maximum leakage current must be lower than 5 mA in order to pass the test. Maximum voltage for this test is 880 VAC * 1.41 = 1241 V that is applied directly between triac's main terminals. Applied voltage is way above Vdrm/Vrrm of the selected device.Has anyone had experience with testing according EN 60730-1 standard? Have we understood described test

What is the maximum current for each channel Conditions applicable when switching the load per channel. Can we parallel 2 or 3 channels to get single output. If we are not using any channel cant it be disabled / floated ( Is SOCR used for Enabling / disabling the channel )

We bought the following evaluation boards to test a wireless charging concept:STEVAL-WBC86TXSTEVAL-WLC38RXNow it seems that the datasheets of the evaluation boards and also from the chips that they use got pulled from the website. The control software STSW-WPSTUDIO also is nowhere to be found.Is there some way to get all these files still or are they just gone for good due to some restrictions...?

Hello I am using a STPM801 eval board and will design in the STPM801 on my power management board. I am confused by the connections to the TIE0 and NC pins as described by the STEVAL-STPM801 data brief document and the app note AN5830.  The data brief doc shows on page 3 the circuit schematic and the 8 off NC pins are floating (i.e. not connected) as are 3 off the TIE0 pins (pin 13, 14 and 28) - only pin8 connects to GND through a 0R resistor. Page 4 of AN5830 describes the pin functions. This states that all NC and TIE0 pins "Connect directly to GND". Should the NC and TIE0 pins be connected to GND or not (or somewhere else)?

Hi everyone,I'm currently working with a wireless charging system using STWBC86 (transmitter) and STWLC38 (receiver) from STMicroelectronics. Both chips are based on the WPC Qi standard and are designed for wireless power transfer.I have a few questions regarding compatibility with other Qi-based devices:If I place a different Qi-certified transmitter (e.g., commercial wireless charger) on top of the STWLC38,will it charge properly?Conversely, if I put a third-party Qi receiver (e.g., Qi-based earbuds case) on top of the STWBC86 transmitter,will it charge successfully?If compatibility issues occur in either case, does that mean that Qi version alignment (e.g., Qi 1.2.4) is notsufficient to ensure interoperability? Or are there manufacturer-specific implementations that can affect compatibility?I'd really appreciate any insights or experience anyone has had with mixed-device Qi systems.Thanks in advance!

I notice that in the schematics for the STEVAL-LLL007M1 STEVAL-LLL007V1, part of the evaluation kit for the LED1202, several of the A0 pins for the attached LED1202s are pulled to ground with 10K resistors.  However, in the datasheet for the LED1202 the example schematics do not show such an arrangement.   What is the purpose of the 10K pull down resistor?  And is it necessary in other designs using the LED1202?   -A

We have a batch of chips labelled M27400 and another marked M37400.  Does this marking indicate the version number of the chips?  I'm seeing a difference in behavior between them (the M34700 are reporting PE states I haven't seen previously). Thanks,

I am planning to purchase the EVLSTGAP3S6S evaluation board for my research. While reviewing the datasheet, I noticed that the board is specified to support a high-voltage rail of up to 520 V, limited by the MOSFETs and capacitors. However, I observed that:The board uses SCTH60N120G2-7 SiC MOSFETs, which are rated at 1200 V, 60 A.The film capacitor used (C4) is rated at 1.1 kV (Panasonic ECWFG1B335J).Given that both components have voltage ratings above 1 kV, I would like to understand why the maximum voltage rail is limited to 520 V. I need to assess whether the board can support higher voltage operation (e.g., up to 800 V DC). Could anyone kindly clarify the reason for the 520 V limitation?

Hello All,I am using L7987L to generate +15V from 24V. I have 10 same boards wherein I have used the same circuit (see below), I am able to generate 15V for 2 boards but in rest it is generating 1.22V only. R191 is 6.8kohm and diode D36 is US1M-E3/61T.SS pin is showing 0.07V onlyPlease note there was no change in layout for working as well as non-working boards. I have checked all individual resistors as well as replaced IC too. still the issue persists.

Hi Sir, I would like to explore a specific use case that deviates from the standard design. My goal is to modify the EVLVIPGAN50PD to achieve a fixed 12V output, bypassing the USB PD negotiation functionality entirely. My intention is to utilize only the motherboard circuit, which contains the VIPERGAN50 and SRK1001, and not use the daughterboard with the STUSB4761 controller.Could you please provide some technical guidance on what modifications would be necessary to the motherboard circuit to achieve stable 12V regulation? Since the voltage feedback loop is currently managed by the STUSB4761 on the daughterboard, I assume changes would be required to establish a fixed reference for the VIPERGAN50 on the motherboard.For example, on the daughterboard schematic, a resistor divider (R36 and R37) is used for voltage sensing. I am wondering how a similar feedback mechanism could be implemented directly on the motherboard circuit to set the output to a constant 12V. Thank you.

Hi,I'm interested in the Mastergan5 IC.To evaluate it for our use case in a Class-D amplifier we need information about switching losses.These are commonly provided by suppliers of half bridge ICs by providing the Eon and Eoff values over switching voltage or by providing Coss and Ciss over Vds.Are there similar information or even a simulation available for the Mastergan5 IC?

Hi,We are implementing STM6600 push button controller for our design and we have below queries. Is there any pull up connected to PS hold pin, can I connect this directly to 3.3V logic MCU.For variant STM6600DU25DM6F, tON blank is 11.2s, Do we need to hold PB button for 11.2 for power EN deassertion, or if we set PShold to high within 1 or 2seconds, power on will be successful. Regards,Gowthaman

Hello,I use a STPM32 on a battery charge system. The STPM32 is associated with an ESP32 module.The driver used is from ST (V1.0, 17 may 2016).I want to detect some defaults with interrupt, and I configure the interrupt mask only for current and voltage swell.But when I launch a battery charge, an interrupt is triggered (the period error interrupt) which is not masked.I don't understand this behavior and don't find an answer in the datasheet.Any help would be appreciated !Best regardsGilles.

I have already using L9524C IC for glow plug controller. I have to must to learn that what is the maximum duty cycle value of Control Input (CI) PWM signal?And if I have apply continuous HIGH signal to Control Input pin, how L9524C works? Freq. is 40 Hz.

I just need some clarification regarding the STUSB4710QTR.I'm designing a USB-C power source where a USB 2.0 hub will supply 5 V/5 A to a USB device. The connected device is a USB cellular modem, which typically draws a continuous 5 V/3 A, but requires brief pulses of up to 5 V/5 A during transmission.I would like to configure the SEL_PDO pin for this application without using I²C. Could you please confirm if there is a default PDO profile that supports this, or if the SEL_PDO configuration allows selecting a 5 V/5 A contract directly?I've attached a reference for your review.Please let me know if everything looks in order or if you have any recommendations.Thank you in advance for your support.

HiI am using L4985A for my 110W PFC design. During testing boost inductor current is getting distorted when i increase the load. And also, audible noise from the boost inductor. Here I attached the waveform. I used eDesign suite for designing and simulating the design. I am attaching my circuit herewith. Please give your suggestion to solve this issue. HiI am looking into STC3115 for a device, powered by a LiPo battery. The battery is not removable, main CPU turns off during low-power states.Looking at the AN4324 system integration manual, it describes the procedure to use the embedded RAM to save and restore some register values. But... why? If the fuel gauge does not lose power, its register values should be maintained. If it does lose power, the RAM itself will be cleared. What am I missing here? I think that on boot, I should just check if BatFail or PoR is 1, and write default values if they are. In what scenario are the configuration registers cleared, but the RAM - maintained?In addition, what if the user charges the device without the main CPU running? In that case, the RAM restoration would overwrite the SoC value in the gauge?Am I right to think that this whole business with the RAM save/restore is intended for some different device setup?Thanks for any input
