Started using PA2 pin as a ADC input and found that the input voltage get corrupted with LSCO output. Happens not always, but very often. Powering board down and up sometimes fixes the problem, sometimes not.The LSCO output enable control bit LSCOEN is 0. Calling HAL_RCCEx_DisableLSCO() doesn't help.Thanks,George

HiI am working on project that receive several I2S streams from MEMS microphones. I found that "audio level" from second microphones pair had higher level then from other. Hello, I configured CAN communication between two STM32F446RE boards. The code works in Loopback Mode, but not in Normal Mode. I did not use an external CAN transceiver, as I read that direct communication is possible on the STM32F446RE. What I have tried: CAN initialization is correct, and messages are transmitted successfully in Loopback Mode. In Normal Mode, HAL_CAN_AddTxMessage() returns HAL_OK, but no messages are received. Connected CAN_TX of Board 1 to CAN_RX of Board 2 and vice versa, with a shared GND. Enabled CAN interrupts and checked for errors using HAL_CAN_ErrorCallback(), but none appear.  

Hello,I want to use a STM32H7S3 at 1V8 but was wondering whether I could still use VDDA at 3V3 in order to be able to use the internal voltage reference. I know that this was impossible on a lot of older MCUs, but I can't find any information which points to this being impossible on the H7S/H7R series.

I have an STM32L452 rigged to use an external clock so we can keep the RTC running. Schematic attached.X2 is a clock from SiTime, programmed to be 32.768kHz. C36 is a supercap acting as battery backup. I used STMCube to generate the startup code to feed into HAL_RCC_OscConfig. When I debug into this function, the LSE never becomes ready (RCC_BDCR_LSERDY bit always zero), and so the code returns HAL_TIMEOUT.Do I have the correct circuit? Hi, I'm new to this, so bare with me :) I'm following the UM2421 - getting startet guide for the P-NUCLEO-IOM01M1, and everytime I connect the USB to my PC, I get the FAIL.txt where it says: The interface firmware FAILED to reset/halt the target MCU. I believe that, this problem prevents me for connecting to my IO-link device?I have tried to reinstall the ST-LINK, update the firmware on the NUCLEO-F446RE, rebooting my PC, but everytime i get the FAIL.txt saying the same thing. I have no idea what to do, so please if someone have a solution for this problem.

Hi, Currently we have received our first prototype batch of board with the STM32H7S7Z8J6. There is external flash and ram on the board also, but first we want to try a simple test where we will just use the LTDC interface without touchgfx to make the screen 1 color so we can check this functionality. But it seems like the LTDC interface wont start properly. We can't see any signal on the clock line, Hsync or Vsync lines. Also none of the RGB666 lines is showing any kind of acitvity.  Below is our simple init firmware. Hi,I am using STM32H563ZI to design a new product, there is a SDRAM(W9825G6KH-6) connected to the MCU with 16bit width bus. The SDCLK is 125MHz while the MCU running at 250MHz.  The read and write to SDRAM address space are both OK. But the read write performance is extremely slow, roughly 11MB/s for read and 14MB/s for write. I had configured the MPU and I-Cache/D-cache, The speed is unsatisfied and unbelievable because I had a board with STM32H750 and the same SDRAM (SDCLK running at 100MHz, 16bit bus width), both read and write speed are around 100MB/s with cache on. Could anyone give me some hints? 

Hello Folks,I am facing the issue regarding the RTC in stm32H7S78-dk evaluation board. So, the issue is if I configure the internal RTC in my IOC file all the other the process stops on my board which is working already like TouchGFX, Ethernet my LCD screen all the the operations stopes. Hello,We are using STMU575 MCU and it's power saving mode STOP3.For verification purpose we are using NUCLEO-U575ZI-Q eval board, ST cube example PWR_LPMODE_RTC (STM32CubeU5-1.7.0). ST cube IDE version is: 1.18.0.I modified existing code little bit (as per suggestion by ST team in other thread 735939)to make it work for STOP 3 mode.For current measurement, connected current meter between JP5. When I am running this code, I am observing following thing:After firmware flash, when first time code is executed (with NRST reset and without USB power removal) and enters in to STOP 3 mode, current consumption shows 0.19 mA.When I remove board's USB cable and insert it again to power cycle it to execute the code and enter in to STOP 3 mode, it shows current con

Hi, I am trying to launch a device that has an STM32H7B3RIT, but I have encountered some issues regarding interrupts. I am using CubeMX and CubeIDE to generate a very simple project with an internal clock (64MHz) and no initial configuration. However, I couldn't use HAL_DELAY(..) and after some investigation, I realised that SysTick_Handler is not being called, meaning that no interrupt is running. I have also tested with TIM7 interrupt, but it still doesn't work.I have quite a bit of experience with CubeMX and CubeIDE with other STM32 microcontrollers, and I am sure I didn't miss any configuration. I believe the problem may be due to a CubeIDE bug or MCU-specific configurations.What can I do?STM32CubeIDE: 1.11.0STM32CubeMX: 6.7.0

Hello, I am trying to read from the ADC of an STM32H750VBT6 on a custom PCB at 16 bits and am getting a constant value of 32768 when sending data over USB. When factors like the number of bits is changed, the value also changes to be around half the max value even if the ADC input is re-connected to ground. I measured Vref and it is at 3.3V and I had a voltage divider circuit with 1.6 V going directly to the analog pin. Could there be an issue with the settings or how the ADC is being initialized?

Hey all :)We have designed a board with the STM32G484VEH6 and need to use OSC32_IN/OUT (PC14/15) as GPIO pins. We use PC15 as an interrupt pin for a connected SPI device and PC14 as GPIO output.Unfortunately neither the interrupt nor the GPIO output is working reliable in the meaning of we receive some interrupts but setting the GPIO output doesn't work (can't see the output level changing on the scope).For us "6.1.3 Battery backup domain" of the reference manual is not quite clear if we have to connect "VBat" to +3.3V to be able to use those pins as GPIOs or if the backup domain is powered by VDD per default. At the moment VBat is not connected at all as we haven't planned to use the RTC function with an external clock source.So is there some register CubeMX is not setting for us correctly or do we have to change the hardware to get it working?Thanks in advance for your help =)

Hello,    I have a problem witht he ADC readings and the timing of reading of the ADC channels.   I am currently using an STM32 U545, both ADCs (1 & 4) configured to read voltage values comming from different sensors that i have on my pcb. The ADC is configured in DMA mode so i can have this reading process runing in parallel and the ADCs are triggered with a timer so that i have full control of the ADC switching. Setting the ADC in continuous/discontinuous conversion mode is not an option for me.   The problem comes when i try to make a function where all the voltage values and temperature values are monitored to check if they are in range so that if they are not the system does not start/stops and informs me which error do i have.    The parameters i try to monitor are the following ones:  void ADC_Calibration(void){ I_BAT = (float)ADC1

Hi, I am doing a comparison between the STM32L432 and the STM32L412. However, I observed a discrepancy in the STM32L412 power values under Table 4. STM32L412xx modes overview, LPRun and LPSleep are showing the same value. Is this correct?
