I am using Nucleo-H7S3l8 board which has STM32H7S3L8H6 MCU and Macronix NOR Flash MX25UW25645GXDI00. Using XSPI Interface, I am trying simple read device id command RDID. After I send the command, observed busy(BUSY of XSPI_SR) bit going high and FIFO level(FLEVEL of XSPI_SR) bit field with some value and both the both fields got cleared immediately and when I try to read from data register, got no data.Can someone suggest what might have gone wrong or suggest a way so that I can get Device Id?

Can someone help me with a clock configuration for STM32H7 with 8mhz crystal (I can change it if need) so I can get 0% drift for 44100Hz Audio?

Custom board, STM32H747 device, Simple PWM Using the code generated by MX, and adding a call to HAL_HRTIM_SimplePWMStart, I can generate a nice simple PWM output signal. If I change the initial values for period/pulse, rebuild, and program to the device, I can see the changed output signal. Now I want to change the period and/or the pulse after it has started. Hello everyone, I am currently working on encoder mode with an STM32C031. I am using a DC motor with an incremental encoder and a gear reducer. My goal is to measure both the velocity and position of the motor. I have configured Timer1 with a frequency of 24 MHz, using channels 1 and 2 in quadrature mode to read the encoder signals. However, I am struggling to understand the relation between the timer frequency configuration and the values provided by the encoder. Additionally, I am uncertain about how to correctly set the timer period for the encoder. Currently, I have set it equal to the timer period, but I am not sure if this is the correct approach. I am new to using stm32 MCUs and I was following a youtube tutorial on how to set up a debugger for dual core MCUs. Before changing some settings I was able to start the debugger without any errors. Now when I try to run the debugger I get this error window popup:'Launching file_CM4 Debug' has encountered a problem. Error in final launch sequence:Failed to start GDB server When I click on details I get:Error in final launch sequence:Failed to start GDB serverFailed to start GDB serverError in initializing ST-LINK device.Reason: (4) No device found on target. I also noticed that when I plug the controller in the USB port and open NOD_H755ZIQ in This PC, it has 4 files (it had 3 files before). Hi,I'm working with the NUCLEO-H755ZI-Q, which features dual cores (Cortex-M4 & Cortex-M7). I’m trying to understand whether these two cores have separate debug registers, such as DHCSR (Debug Halting Control and Status Register).I have reviewed RM0399 and the Armv7-M Architecture Reference Manual, but I couldn't find a definitive answer. To investigate further, I attempted to access DHCSR (0xE000EDF0) on AP0 and AP3 using STM32CubeProgrammer, and I observed that both cores displayed the same value. However, when running a project in STM32CubeIDE, where I separately access DHCSR on M4 and M7, I see different values for each core.This discrepancy has left me confused about the debug register configuration on STM32H755. I'm developing a very power-saving product. The STM32L4 is a really great product for our application ! Usually I run the STM32L4 VDD at 1.8V. Operate at 3.3V only when end user configures it via USB. The problem is that I want to switch the VDD voltage from the STM32 software.   Can I dynamically change STM32 voltage during runtime? As long as I make the rate of voltage change very slow, I don't see anything wrong with that, since it is equivalent to just repeating the same amount of voltage change as a normal voltage ripple range. Is there any problem in thinking this way? How fast [Volt / second] is it allowed to change the supply voltage ? Thank you in advance !

I am trying to port an existing design that did not use the external memory loader into a version where I can use the external memory loader so that I can add additional code.I watched the videos and read the materials and have successfully made the example version that works. Hello,We are using the STM32H745 dual-core MCU for a mostly-analog sensor project. The M4 core is running at 240 MHz and generating a signal on the fly that is passed to the DAC via a DMA stream in circular buffer mode. This part works great.The signal is routed through some external op-amps and other analog circuitry and eventually makes its way back to one of the MCU's OPAMP inputs. We'd like for the M7 core to run at 480 MHz and use the ADC to sample the signal back and then perform some analysis. This part hasn't been implemented yet but we have similar functionality in other projects and this doesn't look to be a problem.The issue is that we'd like for the ADC sampling to be precisely synchronized to the DAC signal generation. On other MCUs, the ADC can be configured so that it is clocked by either the PLL or by a fraction of the HCLK bus clock ("adc_hclk"). Need advice selecting an STM32 device (package should be LQFP32).Want to replace an STM32L051 (LQFP32). Want similar footprint. The replacement shall use less power or equal. Must have possibility to run on an external high speed oscillator (HSE). The STM32L051 could not do this.

Hello,We are using the STM32H573 in a new project. We have designed a custom board using the 64-pin LQFP package.The MCU connects to a ethernet PHY using RMII interface.Our product has to meet strict radiated emissions levels that are 7dB lower that CISPR class B.In our pre-compliance emissions testing, the product passed class B limits, but had emissions above the lower limit. The design is using standard best-practices for EMC compliance (e.g. solid power/ground places, good decoupling, controlled impedance board stack etc etc). I've designed a custom board using the STM32H747I MCU, following the STM32H747I-DISCO reference design. In my design, I've connected VLXSMPS to VDDLDO, similar to the reference design. Does the STM32L051 have any unpublished errata for the EEPROM?The STM32L151 has an errata note that an EEPROM write while the MCU gets reset could look it up. Is the same true for the STM32L051? STM32L051 does not mention anything in the errata. But if they share some IP, maybe it could be the same for STM32L051? 

Hi folks,I have SDMMC1 working on CM7 on my H755 Nucleo. Now I want to migrate FAT-FS and the uSD to CM4, in which case I think I should switch to the SDMMC2 peripheral since it's in D2 domain along with CM4.I have a some questions about this and would be grateful for advice.Firstly, am I right in believing that although the CM4 core can access SDMMC1 via the D2-to-D1 AHB, this is going to be slower than using SDMMC2, and is any such speed penalty significant?Secondly, assuming that I should indeed use SDMMC2, I can't do this because PB14 is reserved for LD3 whilst this is needed for D3 on SDMMC2. I see from the data sheet that I can remove R75 in order to free-up PB14, but I wonder how CubeIDE knows that I've done this, since I've tried resetting the pin (in CubeIDE) and although it let's me do this and then generates code using SDMMC2, the next time I load the .ioc I see that SDMMC2 is showing as not available and has been unchecked.Finally, why

I am laying out a USB for a STM32H725. I would like clarification on something out of the datasheet (DS13311).Note 2 under table 118 states: No external termination series resistors are required on USB_DP (D+) and USB_DM(D-); the matching impedance is already included in the embedded driver. I haven't found an example schematic with that specific MCU but found a similar one for STM32H7S7L8 (STM32H7S78-DK). In that schematic, the USB data lines are 90 ohms. They are going through a HS choke (ECMF2-40A100N6). The datasheet for that MCU has a similar note. I'm not sure if that means I should make data traces 90ohms or not. Could someone clarify this for me please?I will be running in FS mode using a USBLC6-4SC6 for ESD, if that matters.
