I am using Nucleo-H563ZI in this. I was configuring USART6 in DMA mode, but for this controller instead of DMA, there was GPDMA1/2. Currently, I have configured it in GPDMA1. The module is EC200. I am transmitting AT but am not getting the response that it is OK. Therefore, I am not sure whether the USART is correctly configured or not

Hello, I configured the STM32CubeIDE project and codes for the Octo-SPI PSRAM according to the AN5050.  However, the compilation was failed with below messages. The HAL_RCCEx_OCTOSPIDelayConfig is not available in STM32CubeU5 HAL driver. How can I solve this problem? To avoid the compilation error, the DelayBlock_Calibration was removed temporarily. The addressing of Octo-SPI PSRAM has an error at OCTOSOP1_BASE 0x90000000 as below. I am writing the code to read the ADC data from internal temp sensor and ADC.I want to know that what is the register value to read the ADC data from there. I am using STM32H743ZIT6 Micro controller. We are  using ADC3,The ADC is set to 16-bit resolution modeThe ADC input clock is 64 MHz.  The Clock Prescaler is set to 128. The sampling time for each input is set to 810.5 REgardsSaranraj

I want to get reference from official example code, I only find external interrupt example code with LL library in official SDK. I think STM32H5x HAL should support external interrupt. Hi everyone,I am currently working with an STM32G071. It receives data over the SPI in slave mode. The data is packet based, each currently has 4 bytes, but that will differ in the future. A single chip select sequence may contain multiple packets, but a single packet is never split over multiple CS.The SPI is configured to work with the DMA to transfer the 4 bytes of a packet and I get an interrupt from the DMA once finished. Everything works as expected.However, I would like to make sure that the receiver is robust, even in case of wrong data on the bus, especially not the correct number of bytes. Currently, the DMA will transfer 4 bytes into the RAM, while ignoring the CS. In case there is one byte missing, the DMA will receive the 3 remaining bytes. Although the CS is then deasserted, it will wait for the next transmission to get the last byte. From this point on the data will be shifted by one byte. That is not acceptable for me. I want the DMA to re-sync a

I am working on STM32L051R8, which is set to use Stop mode, which wakes up on the start bit. I have a situation where the MCU wakes up on an unwanted start bit, and UART extracts unwanted data. The expected action is to ignore the unwanted data and enable it to wake up again when it is supposed to. Hi,I have built a handful  of STM32 designs before and never had a chip fail to connect. I can't seem to get any connection in Cube Programmer at all:VDD,VREF+,VBAT is at 3.3V, VSS is connected to ground.NRST is high at bootI can see current drop from 17mA to 7mA (at 12V) when pulling NRST low , so it seems like MCU is doing something.I originally connected with a JLINK but just bought a STLINKV3 SET with the same result.Using SWD over a tag connecttried every connect option in cube programmer (mode/reset mode)I see SWCLK,SWDIO, and NRST working on an osc

Hi,I am currently using f446 nucleo board with  some over uart interface.I am able to send the desired frames over Uart to sensor and sensor is properly responding by sending positive acknowledgement to each uart sent frames.And this verified in logic analyser.But while receiving it on rx pin mcu is not able detet t bytes properly.even thought desired bytes are available over uart rx lin as it is verified using logic analyzer Thing I am missing is I am not flushing out the dayat ragister and buffers before reading data.Is there any HAL API  to perform this flush operationMay be for reference, myserial.flush api of arduino.this functionality I am looking forThanks alex

im looking through the STM324x9I_EVAL files and in the stm324x9i_eval.h there is a MACRO "WAKEUP_BUTTON_EXTI_PORT_SOURCE"  thats defined as EXTI_PortSourceGPIOA. im wondering where is this defined i cant seem to find the anywhere 

im having trouble displaying my own bitmap what converter should i use to convert a bmp file to array to work with this function

I'm following along AN6000 to bypass the internal SMPS of the STM32N6 and use my own SMPS and LDOs power several of the power rails for the MCU and have some questions:1. In section 3.2 "System power/up/uncontrolled power-down sequence", the document states that the bootloader software must disable the internal SMPS by clearing the SDEN bit in PWR_CR1 register. Is this behavior configurable via CubeMX setting, or needs to be set manually in bootloader and if so, is this achievable once Vdd comes on?2. In the same section, it states that the PWR_ON signal is activated and Vddcore, Vdda18x and Vddperiph are enabled. The PWR_ON signal is asserted automatically once the power thresholds are reached, correct, or do I have to set the signal manually?3. In section 2 "Discrete power supply topologies", the diagram shows the LDOs and SMPS for Vddcore, Vdd, Vdda1V8_AON, vdda1v8 and Vddperiph but I do not see an LDO or SMPS for Vddio although I see Vdda1v8 powering some IO

I need to save a couple of bytes (a settings struct) to upper (last) page of the Bank1 flash. The settings are changed very rarely so lifetime of the flash is not an issue. The settings struct has a CSC member so when the settings are read from the flash during startup the settings would be applied only if the CSC of the settings struct is right.I know that I have to unlock, then erase a full page (128kB) before saving the app settings. How can I do this using HAL_Flash_xxx calls? I also must lock out the last page of Bank1 from code space (Linker file?). Can anybody send an example? I need to generate 4 different PWM signals simultaniously, I tried it with STM32F746G-DISCO but the screen of it just goes blank after a bit, I then tried it with Nucleo-144 F767ZI and it sort of worked for 50 kHz and 1 MHz however when going down like 750 kHz or some different frequency the generated signal is just a little inconsistent, like there are a few nano seconds of inconsistency between the signals.Therefore I want to experiment with an external clock generator, precisely Si5351 Clock Generator, however I just don't know how to use an external clock generator, how do I connect it to my board, make them communicate etc etcI didn't really end up finding much of an explanation on this topic either so any help is appreciated as a newcomer.

Struggling to get my own STM32U5A5 board working... the USB HS PHY was not working, until... (see below).I was confused also with this thread:https://community.st.com/t5/stm32-mcus-products/stm32u5-and-usb-hs/td-p/571774This told me actually as well: you need an external XTAL, not a CMOS OSC (and maybe 16 MHz). - But not true.I have changed my SystemClock_Config() !Instead of an external 16 MHz XTAL (as on NUCLEO-U5A5ZJ-Q board) I have an external 8 MHz CMOS OSC (not a XTAL).The USB CDC (VCP UART) project, running on NUCLEO board - runs now also on my own PCB! Hi All, I was searching for a I/O bank voltages of different GPIO ports available in the controller. In datasheet there is no proper information on supply voltages for the GPIO Pins., could you please suggest the document which is having the information of supply voltages for different I/O banks.   Note: However, I am unable to confirm which ports support 3.3V. Table 18 of the datasheet does not correlate the PIN numbers with VCCIOX. Below figure shows only few I/O ports.     Regards Tejas

Hi guys. I am using STM32G431KBT MCU. I am using 2 MCU (master / slave) and they communicate via canbus. Canbus is working good but canbus filter is not working. Master canbus address is 0x200 ans slave address is 0x101. I changing master ID (0x150) but the slave still continues to receive data and go to the canbus callback program. Cubemx settings are as follows; And program is here;  

Hi,We're storing some device configuration on last sector(7) at BANK2 inside internal flash memory. Sometimes device goes into state where part of this this sector is not readable by our code(generates fault) also this sector is not readable by cubeprogrammer and only solution to make our device work again(make unreadable part readable again) is to mass erase chip. What could be causing such issue where we cannot read only part of flash memory? How can we check why such region is unreadable?Some more details:We are always erasing whole sector when we need to change something in config structure and then we reflash it.Data we're storing there is around 1700 bytes currentlyThis happens pretty much randomly and there is no easy way to reproduce it
