Hi,I am trying to do synchronous DAC and ADC sampling using timers on the STM32H747.A simplified diagram of my configuration is shown below.Basically I want to continuously set DAC values from a fixed buffer and read the their equivalent "real-world" response via the ADC (into a buffer of same size as the DAC's).To achieve synchronization timers 2 and 4 have identical configuration and are both triggered from TIM1(This solution is chosen in order to use PWM functionality to phase shift the ADC to obtain best results. Hello ST Community,After running some tests on a board with an STM32H562 microcontroller and using an oscilloscope, I detected what might be a bug in the HAL. I was using the HAL function HAL_RCCEx_GetPeriphCLKFreq() to retrieve the clock frequency of a specific peripheral, in this case, SPI2 (whose clock source was PLL1Q). However, I was getting a value significantly different from the expected one.After validating the clock tree through the IDE, I decided to measure the signal with an oscilloscope to better understand the issue. There, I observed the expected 125 MHz instead of the 140 MHz reported by the HAL function.Do you have any idea what might be causing this?

I want to confirm the limitations of GPIO interrupts on STM32 devices. I am using an STM32H7 device, and observed that interrupts cannot be configured for PA0 and PB0 at the same time.  I could not find any confirmation regarding this in the device datasheet,can anyone give me the confirmation on this.

I'm encountering an issue with the update event triggering in STM32 TIM1. I have configured TIM1 to generate PWM signals and set the update event to Center-Aligned Mode 3. However, I've noticed that the update event occurs not only when the timer's counter reaches the auto-reload value (ARR), but also when it reaches zero. This is causing a problem because I specifically need the update event to occur only at ARR for triggering the ADC to sample.In my project, I'm using TIM1 to generate PWM signals on channels CH1, CH1N, CH2, and CH2N. The CCR values for PWM generation are obtained from a DMA array. Additionally, I'm utilizing the update event to trigger the ADC, with ADC values being saved to a buffer via DMA.I've tested other modes and observed that the PWM output works fine, but this issue arises only in Center-Aligned Mode 3. How can I ensure that the update event occurs only at ARR in this mode?

Dear Sirs,Is there a method to calculate the firmware size?I am using STM32F103R8T6My flash memory is divided in three blocks:- Custom boot loader block- Main application block- Data blockWhen the main application is running, it needs to calculate its own size in terms of quantity of bytes in flash.This is needed in order to calculate the CRC of the firmware.Some pages at the end of main application block range might not have been erased, so I think I cannot count on 0xFFFFFF presence. Furthermore the firmware might finish with 0xFF.Maybe the .hex file starts with the program counter initialization, followed by some useful information?? Thanks,Marco

I'm using Keil uVision 5 and ST-Link debugger (Mini). I have a very curios issue with STM32F746, running at 50 MHz.On the board I'm communicating with a display via FMC. "Suddenly" (as in, I don't know what I changed) the program did not work anymore when launching the debugger and starting the program from debugger. The program does not enter any Hard Fault or other fault handler. I can single step through the whole program, only the FMC communication seems not to work. For debugging I also switched a LED periodically using the RTX OS which is working.However: When I flash the program and start without debugger, the FMC communication works flawlessly. The program starts up the display is showing without issues.This is a very inconvient situation and I cannot find out, why this happens? I already changed debugger to older ST-Link, but was no help.Very strange issue, maybe someone can help here or hint at something I could check.

I'm using the STM32H735 to create a sequence of PWM signals. I have timers TIM1, TIM2, TIM4, and TIM24 all connected in a slave timer chain. TIM1 triggers TIM2 with ITR0. TIM2 triggers TIM4 with ITR1, and TIM4 triggers TIM24 with ITR3. Each link in the trigger chain is done with a timer channel in "Output Compare no Output" mode setup as the TRGO event.  These are the slave modes in the chain:TIM1: disableTIM2:  Trigger Mode (ITR0)TIM4:  Trigger Mode (ITR1)TIM24:  Trigger Mode (ITR3)This all works perfectly but only the first time. If I stop all 4 timers and try to restart the sequence, only the PWM output from TIM1 starts again. The PWM output from TIM2, TIM4 and TIM24 fails to start. Here is some pseudo code to show what I have. I'm tring to work with a STM32F030F4. Unfortunately I didn't manage to flash the application on the controller. I'm using openOCD with a ST-Link. I use the following to start openOCD: openocd.exe -f interface\stlink-v2.cfg -f target\stm32f0x.cfg I now use Telnet to talk to openOCD. Hi,i was trying to change dead time from (244 value to 100) for every 10ms in a loop. Good morning. I'm running an STM32F767Zi on a custom board, LwIP 2.1.2, no OS. The device acts as a HTTP server. I've got an issue where I get GET requests and [FIN, ACK] packets retransmitted by the web browser.192.168.5.106 - Client192.168.5.196 - Server The issue seems to be intermittent and appears only when a portion of the webpage content is requested (status.xml) once per second. Hello !I am using DMA with pwm and working on unipolar SPWM.i have configured DMA with an array of pwm and is working fine. i am trying to get the interrupt after either each DMA transfer or after the reload of ARR register. Hello,I am working on a project to design an IO controller board using STM32H755 (LQFP144) mcu. I want to interface two axis of high speed encoder inputs to the mcu. TIM1 and TIM8 timers are used. Could you please review the attached schematic design to avoid any design related issues that may arise later?a) Is the connection of encoder inputs to the mcu correct?b) Can index pulse encoder inputs (EZx and EZy) be connected to any other gpio of mcu?c) If the requirement of the design needs to cater for two axis of encoders that require 28-bit counter each, what would be solution for this? I know that I can connect one axis of the encoder inputs to the PA0 and PA1 (using TIM2) but how about the second axis of the encoder input? Can TIM1 and TIM8 or any other timers be cascaded?Thank you.

good morning,I am actually working on my STM32G431KB, I will use the power consumption tool of STM32cube once my code is complete but I would like to know if for now my calculations are correct.I want to use my board to power up 11 different sensor  which resistance will go from 500 to 5000 ohm throught the arduino ports, so their total current consumption should not exeed 400 mA. first, i would like to know if the best way to charge the board to get as much power possible is to power it with a 7Vdc, that would then let 800 mA to pass throught the board which would mean the most power possible:

Hello Team,We have a custom STM32H745 board designed and We are able to get the IC up and running on cube programmer and even set option bytes. The board is designed with Nucleo-H745ZI-Q schematics and we have verified everything on hardware end.When we try to program the board with a basic blink sketch following the guide (https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00629855-getting-started-with-projects-based-on-dualcore-stm32h7-microcontrollers-in-stm32cubeide-stmicroelectronics.pdf) M7 gets debugged and runs. Hello Guys,    We've our own board with STM32H743BIT6 mcu Integrated. We've tried to dump the code by using the external ST-LINK V3 Debugger with JTAG Interface. It works fine for first 3 - 4 times. But then after reaching the board for the 5th time we're getting the Err message as "Error: ST-link error (DEV_TARGET_HELD_UNDER_RESET)".Tried Methods:1. We've Pressed the reset button for 2-3 seconds after giving the connection request.2. We had set the Mode as Under Reset and Hot Plug mode3. We've tried with STM32CubeIde also, still not working.Note:JTAG NRST pin in ST-LINK V3 Debugger is held at Logic Low, without connection to the target. Is this ok?Suggest us some Solutions to overcome this state!If anyone has the ST-LINK V3 Schematics send us.
