Hello,As I enter debug mode and start to run (code execution), nothing is updating in the debug window( the t1 variable at the bottom of the debug mode window just showed me zero or .0026)However, my program works fine on my STM32F10x MCU. When I stop the code execution, the watch window variables show the last updated value, and the RTOS RTX also shows the old state of each thread, and the t1 becomes a number regarding the execution code time.I have updated my ST-Link V2 to the latest version and MDK Keil software to the latest version and installed compiler version 5 for my code compilation.But during execution, nothing was displayed. I have also set the core clock to 72MHz at Debug->Trace->Core clock, but it did not change anything.I need to know why the debug window is not working correctly.

It seems that using the macro  __HAL_TIM_SET_COUNTER  to reset cause interrupt request. I mean.. I m using too the F401RE and I configured the TIM5 with Input Capture on channel 1 and Output Compare on channel 2. I need to reset the counter since overflow would cause some errors on my code (I have to measure the delays between rising and falling edges). I'm considering using the internal PLL to generate a clock for a precision ADC. My sample rate is low, so it's possible this may work. I need less than 50 ps RMS phase period jitter.Looking in the datasheet at the specs for PLL1, I'm having difficulty understanding what the specification for jitter means. For example, is it rms, or is it a min/max measured over a certain number of clock cycles? I'm even further confused because some of the measurements on PLL2 specify "+-ps", but on PLL1 it just says"ps".I'm looking at an STM37H725.

In the FLASH_ECCDETR register, the ADDR_ECC field description contains:"The address in ADDR_ECC is relative to the flash memory area where the error occurred(user flash memory, system flash memory, data area, read-only/OTP area)."But I'm having trouble decoding the actual address where the double ECC bit error occurred. For instance, I have configured EDATA areas of 8 sectors in both banks.Reading from an uninitialized EDATA sector at address 0x09006000 (which is the 5th EDATA sector in BANK1) results in an ECCD NMI, with FLASH_ECCDETR value 0x8020F800So ECCD and  EDATA_ECC bits are set, as expected, but the ADDR_ECC equals 0xF800.How do I convert that to 0x09006000, or to 0x6000, given that the address is supposed to be relative to the flash memory area where the error occurred? And similar for OTP, if I read from (uninitialized) OTP address 0x08FFF000 (which is FLASH_OTP_BASE), FLASH

Hello, I have a issue to control IS66WVE4M16EBLL-70BLI with STM32U585AII6. Although IS66WVE4M16EBLL-70BLI is 8MB, I can read and write only 8KB. IS66WVE4M16EBLL-70BLI has 22 address lines and 16 data lines.(4M * 2 = 8MB)     The problem is    if i change 2-byte at address 0x60000000 to 0x7777, 2-byte at address 0x60002000, 0x60004000 ... also changed to 0x7777.   My guess is fmc tries to write data to 0x60002000, 0x60004000... but it writes to data to 0x60000000. Also fmc tries to read data from 0x60002000, 0x60004000... but it reads data from 0x60000000.   MCU clock is 160MHz. so 1 clock = 6.25ns. PSRAM time is below.

Hello All.Reading a register value from an I2C device assumes:  Writing the device address-> Writing the register address without STOP-> Reading the value . I am trying to figure out if I can do it using only available HAL functions but I don't see how. Simple Write followed by Read includes STOP, which is not in full compliant with the rules. Yes, if needed, I can rewrite everything but maybe there is an option, which I don't notice?I use STM32G0B0 with HAL libraries. 

STM32F4 is working in USB Device MSC mode successfully.I need to detect the USB connection state. I put the HAL_PCD_ConnectCallback function in main.c but on compiling I received warning.Debug/../USB_DEVICE/Target/usbd_conf.c:307: multiple definition of `HAL_PCD_ConnectCallback';I see it is weak in HAL_PCB_IRQHandler. Please suggest what I am missing.   

Hello ST people, I spotted an error in AN2834 rev 9, figure 8. Please refer to the image attached.A negative offset error should be depicted in figure 8, but it is a positive offset error, just like in figure 7. To be a negative offset error, the actual transfer curve has to be offset to the left of the ideal transfer curve.  

Hello everyone, i would like to know the HAL function that allows to reset the value of a simple counter. I don't find the HAL function to reset my counter to 0 before a next counting. So all i want to do is to count, read my counter value and reput it to zero for the next count. Thank for your help !

I am a new embedded software engineer using STM32L432KC for my company's projects.I have been tasked to install a bootloader into this MCU. I am not sure how to proceed. I do understand that the BOOT0 pin which is grounded has to be set HIGH and BOOT1 pin has to be set LOW. But I'm not sure how to program the chip to install the bootloader into memory.Can someone assist me on this issue? I am using the Keil Microvision alongside STM32CubeMX. It would be really helpful if you could prove the links to APIs/Headerfiles etc/.

Hi.I want to save and load data to flash memory. Hi everyone,First I am sorry for the uneducated rest of this text and badly written code.I am currently playing around with a stm32f4 chip. I am using Platform IO CMSIS and a cheap stlink v2 to program the chip. I was trying to get PWM working when the chip wouldn't connect anymore. I was trying to do this by using the TIM1 peripheral which didn't work and then switched to the TIM3. Unfortunately I am not sure when the chip stopped to respond. Hello, Am using STM32L412RBT6 controller to generate PWM for our battery charger product. We need to generate two PWM's and am using TIM1_CH1 and TIM1_CH1N pins to generate 2 PWM's. These are all configured through Timer1.  Here i have a requirement, we want to generate phase shift between these 2 PWM outputs. Is it possible?

Hello, I am building a time critical application with SPI output communication using DMA circular bufferI need to output data at a very precise frequency that is a multiple of 0.125 ns. Normally it should be 4us but It would need to be sometime 3.9us or 3.8. For the moment I use SPI1 as Master with 64 MHz and a prescaler of 256 to get 4us data pulse.Quick question: Can I use a timer to clock the SPI ? in that case does it mean that I have to change it to slave mode ? Can I init transfer in slave mode and trigger DMA transmit buffer still in circular mode ? That way I can define the period if the timer and adjust the output frequency of the SPI clock Is there any exemple of this (if it make sens)ThanksVincent   

The software drives the SPI to drive the RF chip, and I add a 0r resistor to the SPI as shown in Figure 1, I can see through the logic analyzer that the SPI corresponds to the program one by one, but I don't understand that the RF chip does not emit signals

Hello everyone, I have a stm32l072 microcontroller and an NB exs82 module connected via LPUART. And I'm trying to read a new .HEX firmware that is stored in the NB module's FFS and then make the microcontroller receive the packages that contain the reading of the new firmware and write them to the flash. New firmware has been built for BANK2 0x08018000.My microcontroller asks the module to read the file with the command AT^SFSA=read, then the module starts reading and the microcontroller receives this data and must write it to flash, with continuous execution of the microcontroller. However, I am not able to write the data correctly to flash memory, it has the following behaviors.When I delete all of bank2 and receive packet by packet (BUFFER WITH 512KB) and write all the data to bank2 it gets a little wrong, because when I run bank2 it just resets all the time.When I receive the address, clearing this address and recording the microcontroller execution ha
