I have tried setup STM32G071 Sink port and connected with Apple 140w. I want to request 140W but it's seem STM32 not yet supported EPR mode in PD core. Do you have any examples for EPR in STM32?

Posted on March 12, 2015 at 14:34I have problems with my IAR and ST-LINK debugger tool. As soon as I start the debugger, the SPI clock (STM32F103R8 SPI1 at PB3) stops. I use the ST-LINK over SWD. What could I have done wrong? #spi-st-link

Hello all, I'm working on a custom PCB using the L072RZT6. I want to convert pins PB6 & PB7 from an I2C assignment to GPIO_EXTI during run time. Is that possible with HAL_I2C_DeInit?Currently, the board goes through the pre-generated startup process (such as HAL_Init, ClockConfig, etc, etc) then, if the board detects it needs to make the change, I call a function where HAL_I2C_DeInit is used, as well as HAL_GPIO_DeInit using  GPIOB and the macros for pins 6 & 7.  Then, I re-initialize the pins as GPIO and set the struct to use the EXTI. Unfortunately this is not working and I am also having issues with the debugger.  I'm hoping to see if I can get my question answered while I work out what's going on with the debugger.Specifically, inputs 6 & 7 are not triggering the HAL_GPIO_EXTI_Callback function, unlike the un-changed pins. hello,  sd card write on f469 discovery is working. and now referring to msc_standalone example (which works alone), usbd_storage_if.c file is matched and usb mass storage selected from MX tool. But i cant see the drive coming. can i know steps have msc_standalone for MX generated code.

Hi Sir/Madam,I want to implement a vibration detector using stm32f401vc discovery board which mainly consists of LSM303dlhc mems accelerometer sensor.The problem here is that when I am extracting the data from the sensor ,mostly the data is fluctuating  a lot.Here my task is to find a certain threshold ,so that when data goes out of range an led will blink or a buzzer will blow.So how to solve the problem for this purpose.1.And second thing is shall we need any secondary software filter to avoid data fluctuation or only configuration of inbuilt filter is sufficient.2.Third thing is how to select the time delay of data extraction from data rate. Please reply to this post. The content of c code is given as below. #include "stm32f4xx.h"#include "stm32f401_discovery_lsm303dlhc.h"    /* Private type

I'm trying to read data from my I2C sensor, the MLX90614 sensor, using a STM32F411CEU6. When I examined the MLX90614 datasheet, I saw that the I2C clock speed should be a maximum of 100kHz and I configured the clock accordingly. However, after the start condition is set, although I write the slave address to the I2C_DR register, I cannot get the address set flag. I leave the code I wrote below. Thank you if you help. Hello,I'm a bit confused to how use the VREFBUF on this MCU.I want to use the internal voltage reference (SCALE 0 : 2.5V) for better ADC accuracy.Do I have to connect the VREF+ pin (20) to AVDD (+3.3V) or I've to connect it to a 1uF + 100nF capacitors only?

Hi,I have a test app for the U5, which is intended to sleep for a short period of time and wake for a short period time, not unlike the default PCC Sequence you can see in the CubeIDE IOC. It will toggle an output line when entering STOP3 mode and also when waking up. While the timing of wake v sleep is a bit off when the output line is measured using a logic analyzer, the app does seem to basically work.The strange thing is that it only seems to work when run from the debugger. In other words, the GPIO is not toggled if the board is powered up and the debugger is not started. Any suggestions as to what this might be or things to try?Thanks

Hello, I have configured  SPI Slave Receive only with Circular DMA, and I can receive data fine. My problem is that I want to have the current receive index on the SPI DMA Buffer when I receive an external interrupt I try to use StreamIndex but it show always the same value...How do I get the current positioning of the received buffer  Thanks Vincent    

Hi everyone,I'm a beginner, and this might be a basic question for many of you, but I appreciate your help nonetheless.I'm working on a project using the STM32H723VGH6 (due to size and design constraints, I can't use the ZG series) and I want to expand the RAM by connecting an IS62WV51216 SRAM. However, I noticed that in CubeMX, the FMC configuration only has a "Muxed PSRAM" option and no SRAM option (the ZG series has an SRAM option in CubeMX).Even with the PSRAM option, I found that PSRAM typically has both address lines (Ax) and data lines (Dx), but CubeMX only shows pinout for data lines, not address lines.

I am using a pin to Switch on the power supply once the MCU is powered.When powering up the MCU I am getting a Glitch before it turns on the MC GPIO configuaration is given below. Hi,I want to use BC1.2 protocol of STM32G473CE MCU. But STM32G473CE supports USB PD also. So in order to use only BC1.2 can I use only Dp Dm lines of STM32G473CE and leave CC lines un-connectedAlso what is the maximum power negotiation performed by STM32G473CE when using BC1.2 protocol?

I'm trying to set the QUADSPI FIFO threshold when reading from external flash using interrupts and I want an interrupt to occur when there are 32 valid bytes in the FIFO. I'm setting the QUADSPI_CR_FTHRES to 31 according to the datasheet but when I look at the registers I can see that only the 4 first bits are set. I've tried to manually flip the 5th bit with the debugger but it's as if the bit is write protected or something. Why can't I set the FTHRES value to 0x1F?Below are pictures when I step with the debugger:

This is regarding the UART1 and UART2. 1. I am trying to learn how UART works by communicating between STM32 and ESP32. I am able to send data from STM32 to ESP32 and it works. However, when I do the same from ESP32 to STM32, for some reason I cannot receive the incoming data. I have clearly checked the UART settings and it is the same for both the devices. What could be the possible problem here?2. When I use UART1, data is being sent from STM32 to ESP32 but I cannot see it getting displayed on the STM32 IDE's serial monitor. However, data is visible from the ESP32 monitor which indicates UART is working. However, if I use UART2, the data is getting displayed on both monitors. I do not understand what is happening here. Please advise me on these issues and refer me to the respective documents if needed. I am a new embedded engineer who is trying to use STM32.

Hello,I am running the code as shown in the attached file and I get two different behaviours on to identical stm32h735g-dk boards. One of the boards will send exactly 37 can messages when the button for master is clicked and the other board will send a infinite amount of messages. If I do not got the feedback from the slave, sometimes the SDA will pull down(similar to the yellow line show as below) and system was blocked. Working on a product-based STM32F203, getting multiple ARM exceptions of all kinds, Bus Fault, Usage Fault, Hard fault, and Mem fault. The issue is I have a year-old debug Log for debugging purposes. I can't recreate any ARM exception to check the stack values. I want to connect 2 Nucleo F103RB as slave (2 Nucleo slaves) to one master (PC for now) over Modbus (RS485). how can I do that? Please note I am new to STM32, so I have limited knowledge.P.S. I have connected one master (PC) and one slave (Nucleo) but cannot find answer how to connect with 2 Nucleo over one master.

Hi team,I am currently developing a board with the STM32L476RET6. This project involves UART communication (UART4, PA0 and PA1), and I am concerned about EMI due to the fast rising and falling edges of the TX signal. To address this issue, I am implementing a series termination. I already have a 50-ohm controlled impedance board. To complete the design, I need to know the output characteristic impedance of the GPIOs I am using. I have tried to find this information in the datasheet and reference manual, but unfortunately, I could not locate it. Can you help me with this?
